The purchase of a car is a big deal…read more Unfortunately, I know from experience as a previous car salesman you are buying the person, because honestly you can get the same car, same price somewhere else. I went to Mark Juhl to drive some full size SUE ' and I met Dan Jasper (he is the only salesman working at Mar Juhl). He was a nice guy and not pushy at all. I found a car I liked and went home to consider purchasing it. Fast forward, I purchased the vehicle cash. Upon buying the vehicle I reiterated the importance of a good detailing job on my car, after all I am purchasing from a dealership. There shouldn't be coffee stains, gunk on my rims, dust/dirt in my door frames, filth in my cupholders. I am buying from a dealership because my expectations are... LOT Ready Inventory. I asked Dan about the detailing department and stated my expectations. He quickly washed the car and told me bring it by Monday morning and I will get it completely detailed. Dropped off the car, and picked it up 5 hours later. The car didn't look any cleaner than when I left it. They were closed when I picked the car up and I moved to Chicago the next day. I did call and express my dissatisfaction with the detail job, but never received a call in return. Now, I purchased the car nearly a month ago and have been in contact with the dealership to get my title, so I can register the vehicle, etc. Still no correspondence or title. I know South Dakotans rarely use Yelp, however buyer beware. I am not a picky person, but I know how dealerships should be ran and the service after the sale is as important as the buying process itself. Now I have a natural distrust for the whole dealership, because he couldn't deliver on 1 small request. Take your money and purchase from Subaru of Sioux Falls. They will detail the hell out of every car before it goes on the lot.

I love the free consignment and use of multiple avenues to get vehicles in front of a target market. Although they did not end up accepting my car for consignment, they were very thorough, professional and courteous throughout the process. They gave my car a very thorough inspection, and have a basic level of restoration they seek. My car comes with a heater, though it has never been functional, and has a modified suspension, so it wasn't quite up to speed.

Alex was my primary service provider and he's been so helpful and giving me thorough and transparent updates throughout so I was able to get back on my journey. The service department was super busy but they did the best they could and were very friendly and professional throughout it all. Waiting area is nice and they have a couple designated shuttle drivers which was helpful. I highly recommend Alex for any service needs!

Assumed it was a "winter noise" but only got worse when spring came around. Also had rubbing stock tires and some vibrational issues from a TPMS sensor coming apart. I was told the truck was "detailed" but will definitely need a polish etc... a lot of small things that als added up. The part that still makes me hate this company more than anything is that I was lied to. My first question before making the 3 hour drive to their location was if it had a clean title, to which they responded with "oh yeah absolutely!" This was not the case. I checked the Experian data later on and saw an accident that was not disclosed to us even though we asked multiple times. Shame on me for not checking the report before purchasing but thought I could trust the sales team. Instant 0/5 stars for that lie. Makes me sick.

Each time you walk in you're greeted promptly, you're offered drinks while you wait (coffee, water), you can wander through the other sections to see cars as you like, and the class of the BMW model is held high here. !! When coming in for a service, be sure to go over what services you'll be having done and the price. Recently a vehicle check (for $80) was done on my car that I didn't need, want, or ask for (but was due for). So when I received my bill it was $269.00 vs. $170.00 that I'd anticipated. I was told the checks were free from reception when setting up my service. That was a complimentary service on the vehicle, not a diagnostic. (Diagnostics are plugging in a computer, reading codes, and deleting any erroneous pop up codes, or resetting. It takes 5 ish minutes) Their diagnostics cost $80. Oil change for some years are $160. Be sure to know what you're in for before getting your service completed to have the transparency you most likely care to see in transactions. I would have liked to know my costs before receiving services like with any purchase. If costs aren't agreed to beforehand, don't do the service. If the services are done without costs agreed to, don't charge for the service you've done without permission. *This was absolutely not done with malicious intent, simply a communication error. (An $80 one ) 8/10+

We were on our first day of vacation, about 10 hours away from home in a Ford we had bought just 1…read moremonth prior. Our transmission light came on. We were losing power and we were able to coast in to the dealership lot. From the moment we got there everyone was helpful. It needed diagnostics and we needed lunch! A lady told us about everything there was nearby and drove us in the courtesy car to a restaurant and offered to pick us back up. When we got back, we got the horrible news that our transmission was flawed (freestyle CVT) and irreparable. It would cost $5,750 to replace it. I came unglued inside. We were headed to YLSTN and nothing should have gotten in our way! My husband and I debated about what to do, and of course they tried to sell us a car. They offered us $500 for a car we had just bought (not there). The service person we had was great. He told us of some things to do nearby so we could still have a mini vacation and not travel any further because I was so worried. He even tried to get us a free room at a local hotel! My husband wanted to try and limp the car on over to Montana, so we did. We made it there and back (overheating the trans several times) found out about a recall after getting back home (if they would have done a bit of research they could have done it and possibly saved us a little trouble) and still drive it today (put about 13,000 miles on it since May 29,2013). Long story short- ultimately they will do what they are trained to do, try and sell you a car. However, they were kind, understanding, patient, helpful, courteous, and down right friendly.... oh, and they didn't charge me to tell me that it was junk! Thank you to those that helped us.

I don't tend to leave negative reviews--but my experience with Sioux Falls Ford has been…read moredisappointing enough that I feel it's necessary. My issue is with a promise made to me through the Ford Blue Advantage program during the purchase process. After the sale, I followed up with Malik (salesman) to get that promise fulfilled--no response. I circled back again, and instead of helping, he questioned whether my tires even met the required tread specs to qualify, essentially implying the issue wasn't valid. I explained that there may have been an error in how the tread was originally documented and provided proof showing the tires were in fact worn. After that... nothing. No acknowledgment, no resolution, just silence. I'm writing this after also reaching out to the finance and sales management team via email. It has now been about two weeks since I first initiated the conversation with the salesman. I emailed management on Friday, and still--no response. It's been complete silence. What makes it worse is the pattern: instant responses and attention before the sale, but once there's an issue afterward, it's crickets. That kind of "pre-sale vs post-sale" shift is frustrating and honestly feels like a bad look for any dealership. In business, your word is everything. Don't promise something if you can't or won't deliver on it. It's not even about the tires anymore--I can pay for my own. It's about being questioned despite providing proof, and then being completely ignored afterward. I would have much preferred to update this review with a positive outcome, but without any accountability or response, I can't recommend this dealership based on my experience. If someone from management is willing to step in and make this right, I'm still open to resolving it.
