Thi was my 2nd time here and I would rate 5 stars this time. Everyone I dealt with was genuinely nice and friendly unlike my last visit. Everyone from Reina, service advisor, cashier and customer service drivers were great. I was here on a repeat problem with my suburban leaking fluid due to a faulty differential gear seal. I was very happy to hear that the previous seal was still under warranty so there was no charge for parts & labor to replace it again. Bought a Silverado 1500 on New Year's Eve from Billion and was left with a boat load of problems right off the bat. Horrible rattle noise that was discovered on a cold start. Assumed it was a "winter noise" but only got worse when spring came around. Also had rubbing stock tires and some vibrational issues from a TPMS sensor coming apart. I was told the truck was "detailed" but will definitely need a polish etc... a lot of small things that als added up. The part that still makes me hate this company more than anything is that I was lied to. My first question before making the 3 hour drive to their location was if it had a clean title, to which they responded with "oh yeah absolutely!" This was not the case. I checked the Experian data later on and saw an accident that was not disclosed to us even though we asked multiple times. Shame on me for not checking the report before purchasing but thought I could trust the sales team. Instant 0/5 stars for that lie. Makes me sick. read more

All we wanted is to buy was a used 2014 F-150 and went home with a clear coat and KARR security warranty we did not want! The business office rushed us through paperwork and DID NOT explain what we were signing!!! I asked dealership to cancel these items after I got home after getting an an e-mail from KARR security to validate coverage. At first the salesperson said they would refund my $949 to Ally for the KARR contract, then said I MISUNDERSTOOD him! He said since the clear coat had already been done, it was non refundable! What I find strange the clear coat was being put on as we were signing paperwork! I never authororized these items at all! I ended up telling my salesperson Brian that any communications with them in the future needs to be done in WRITING and by management! Beware! I am reading that dealerships make a lot of money on these after market stuff and are rarely cancellable!!! read more

We were on our way through Sioux Falls and found this dealer to look at a recall issue. They told us they didn't know if they could fix it (they are the dealer Chevy sent us to) and wasn't sure how long it would take to look at it. We also asked how much $$ and how long to plan for an oil change while we were there and was told they couldn't give us a price(for a basic oil change) until we came in. After getting into Sioux Falls we read all these reviews and decided to stay away and save the hassle. On a side note we had a response from 3 other automotive places about the oil change. They asked for our VIN so they could give an accurate quote and were all within a few dollars of each other. read more

Been there twice and both times verry disappointed in service. 1st for a regular oil change that took two hours. Thought I would try again because I needed a software update and only a dealer could do it. What a mistake! Took them 4-1/2 hours when told most would be 2 hours. This is after a made an appointment in advance. New I was waiting but never came out to update me or care how long it was taking. Found out after 4 hours they hadn't even started. After complaining it took them 1/2 hour to complete. Will never return to dealer. Suggest not going there for service or maintenance. read more

First I'd like to say that this is the first online review I've ever made and I am only doing so to inform other potential customers about what they are in for. And to maybe help the management team wake up. The staff is lazy and the company has a "that's someone else's problem" attitude. My first experience was calling to see if they had stock of a tire that I was looking at for my vehicle. The receptionist transferred me to service and service transferred me to parts and parts transferred me back to service and service transferred me back to parts. No one wanted to tell me whether or not they had a specific tire or size in stock. Parts said it's services job but I finally got the parts department to check. I figured it was a one off event considering it was later on a saturday and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection on a Tuesday morning. When I pulled in the advisor was nowhere to be found a gentlemen saw me walking around and looking for somebody and pointed me the advisors podium. After 5 minutes of standing there and waiting the same gentleman came over and took down my information. I stressed that I mainly want an inspection because the vehicle was new to me. After an hour and a half I got a text saying my vehicle was done. I went to the advisors desk, but they were nowhere to be found. Got someone's attention and said my vehicle had just been finished. They pointed to the cashier around the corner and said, "go there". When I got to the cashier she looked up at me irritated and said nothing. I said I need to pick up my car and pay and I don't know where to go. She asked for my name and then handed me my paperwork, I looked at the inspection form and it was completely blank. I asked about the inspection. She shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. She then sent someone a message on teams to find an answer. I stood there for 5 minutes until she just turned to me and said, "well I don't know, no one is answering, I guess next time you come in give them hell about that". She never even left her seat to try and track down an answer. After I left I called the service manager to see if they had an inspection in the computer system. No surprise but he never answered or responded to my message (it's been 4 days). I then called Troy (my supposed advisor I never even met) and he never answered or returned my message either. I guess technically the inspection is complementary which means they won't do it if they don't feel like it. It makes me wonder what else they don't do if they don't feel like it. The facility is very nice and has many benefits, however the employees all have a chip on their shoulder and terrible attitudes. No rating as I would never suggest this co to anyone. Took our 2014 gmc truc in 3 different time spent about 3000 there fixing this and then more. Said it was injectors so replaced them. Within 2 weeks same thing happening took it back. Harley goes cam going out quotes 6100 to replace cam or new motor for over 12000. Didn't feel comfortable with them again bought a rebuilt motor to find out the injectors were not sealed which was sending exhaust up and making the ticking noise. Showed pics to Dan the service manager and basically says we are sol. Great co I am getting a lawyer. We would of never had to get a different motor for 5000 if they would of fixed it right the first time. ​ read more

After buying a used vehicle from these crooks I will never buy another vehicle from them again. If you want to get as screwed over as humanly possible and pay 10k more than the sticker price of the vehicle while being lied to go ahead and give these criminals your money. The car I bought was listed as 16k. My loan ended up being 24k. Somehow I paid 8k more than what the vehicle was listed for. They went so fast through the signing process, I should have walked out. I only gave one star because yelp makes you pick at least one. Don't waste your time with these jack asses. And I mean Billions And all of their stores. Misleading, lies and nothing but a hassle trying to buy a vehicle from these people. Our family has tried to cut a deal with Billions 3 times in the past two years with us ending going somewhere else. Last fall I tried to buy a truck from their GMC store. The sales guy acted like I was taking up his time. Didn't want to fond me a truck I wanted but kept pushing trucks on the lot I wasn't interested in. Two years ago I took my son to the Toyota store and tried to buy a Tacoma, the finance manager started ripping into his sales guy right in front of us and thin proceeded to state. "Okay are we going to cut a f'g deal" and proceeded to eyeball me up and down like I was some POS. We walked out. Last week I drove by the Chevy dealer and offered a fair price market price on a vehicle with 10k down. Well once again the Billion Experience pushes me to another dealer where I bought a new truck and added 9k worth of accessories. I bought a car from them in October. 2 days after having it my check engine light came on so, I messaged my salesman multiple times and he never got back to me. so I called them and kept getting told he wasn't available. this is the first car I have ever purchased at 19 years old. they told me that it was a simple fix and the fix was going to be covered. I brought it my closest billion dealership since I live 2 hours away from the one in Sioux Falls. they went to fix it and found multiple things wrong with it and decided that they weren't able to fix it without calling the Sioux Falls dealership and telling them what's wrong with it and now they are not wanting to cover the fix due to it being over $2,500. read more

I had made an appointment for an oil change at Billy and southtown. I advise the service person that I would need to drop it off and have a courtesy ride to work in town . The advised me that they would be there a little after 7:00 and could accommodate that request. I got there a little early to allow for additional time. Waited until I had to get to work or I was going to be late . When I called they told me that they do not open until 7:30 when in fact they said they opened at 7:00. I called the main billion Chevrolet number to get scheduled for a different location . When I told them I make and model they advised me that the only two locations that would be able to service me would not be able to accommodate my request as they do not take reservations for service it is just a first come first serve location. Completely disappointed in how both locations handled this. The corporation States right on their website and service announcements and call waiting voice over that they strive for excellence in customer service. I hate to break it to them but they are a very far cry from excellence in customer service. Not once did they fail but twice and both in the same day. Maybe I should have considered purchasing a different brand of vehicle to get the service that the name should represent. On 12/28 at around 9:30 am, we were passing by Sioux Falls on a road trip when a "reduced engine power" warning and check engine light came on in our brand new Chevrolet Colorado (we've had it about a month and a half). We pulled in to this dealership as soon as we could and my husband went in to see if we could get an appointment to have it looked at since we still had 1,000 more miles to go on our trip until we were home. Their service area is probably one of the most confusing I've ever seen, with no one dedicated reception area/counter for customers. My husband approached the first technician who made eye contact with him, who told him they were too busy and had no available appointments but would come out and take a quick look. He came out and plugged a device into the truck and advised that it would need further diagnoses. He didn't have any real advice as to what we should do, other than continue on our way, see if we could find an appointment elsewhere, and hope for the best. So we left and immediately made some calls to see what dealerships along our route possibly had same day appointments available. We called the Yankton dealership, which was booked through Tuesday and then Billion Southtown, which also did not have any openings. However, the female at Billion's call center who spoke to my husband was able to find 2 open appointments at their W 12th Street location at 10:30 and 10:45 am - the one that we JUST left. It seems unlikely that, within the 15 minutes of us leaving, they suddenly had 2 cancellations, but I suppose it's possible. I suppose it is also possible that the highly apathetic technician my husband spoke to just maybe did not feel like doing his job that day. So we turned around and went back and got that same technician. Of course. He estimated it would take about 1.5 hours, which ended up being 2, and because the issue seemed to be a part that GM apparently does not have available for potentially 2-4 weeks, they were unable to do anything. He did not offer us any documentation, which in hindsight, we should have asked for when he was not proactive with providing it. 1 star for the overall experience with this technician. The second star is for the girl who was awkwardly flirty with my husband on the phone but helpful in getting us an appointment and the fact that they let us have our dog in the waiting area. The bathrooms are also really nice and they have beverages and snacks while you wait. Update: Husband took the truck to our home dealership 01/03/18. Billion did not document our visit at all. That's why we were not offered any paperwork. Way to go, Billion. Review downgraded to a 1-star. read more

The bitterness of poor service is remembered long after the excitement of a good price. I purchases a 2016 Chevrolet From Billion in June as a Certified Pre-owned vehicle. As of today, September 14, it is still not under the certified preowned warranty, the satellite radio was activated for TWO DAYS, and the Onstar was activated by a competing dealer. No Return calls have been made to me in the meanwhile. When I do call, blame is constantly placed on somebody else. My next step is legal action. read more

If I could give them a 0, I would. I bought my 2013 GMC Terrain at around $16,000. It was in a small accident so it was deemed "salvage" by the state of SD. I was fine with that. There was no major cosmetic damage aside from a small dent about the drivers side wheel well. Again, no big deal. In the state of MN, if your vehicle is deemed "salvage" for any reason, you have to get it inspected by the state. I had it inspected by my mechanic when I purchased it, but I'll get to that. After the inspection, I was told that my vehicle was priced nearly $8,000 for what it was worth. That's insane! I understand upselling, but $8,000?!? This is also considering my mechanic had to replace a Cadillac converter and several other things 3 weeks after I drove it off the lot. The repairs totaled almost $2,000. Not to mention, it shakes uncontrollably when I get off the interstate. Please for your safety, do not purchase a vehicle from this corrupt company. Do better Billion. read more

I would definitely not recommend buying a vehicle from Biillion Chevrolet in Sioux Falls. This is the second bad experience we have had with them. The first time we looked at purchasing a Chevy Impala in 2013 and sales people were awful to work with, played games and not very helpful. We went else where and bought our Impala. This year We were looking to replace an old 2002 car we had and wanted to upgrade to a new one. The salesperson we worked with was friendly and nice when we first started working with him. We picked a new car, a 2022 Chevy Traverse, from the website and had it ordered. We asked about trading in the old car which was a Ford. We would have been able to sell it ourselves and even had an offer on it already, but were told they had to have a trade. We asked this question a few times and were told the same thing each time. We sent pictures to salesperson as the car had a cracked windshield and was rusting but still ran well. When we brought it in to trade the salesman then decided it was not worth the trade and only wanted to give us half of what they said and asked if we could still sell it personally. We said we could check and he then was like I'll make it right and offered us a tank of gas and a few other things to help appease us. We did finally get them to take the trade and give us the original price they had said they would after much back and forth conversations. We came in after work at 5:30 and left our kids with grandma so we could sign the papers and take it home. It took forever to get the paperwork ready and we had to wait for several people in front of us to see the finance people. When we did get the paperwork it was in both our names and not just one. We had asked them to run credit on just one and they did both. We have great credit but didn't want the hit to both accounts. When we went to sign the papers it was like 7:30 and everyone wanted to go home and when we asked about why both accounts were run they just said well and if thats what you want we will have to redo all the paperwork. The next thing we experienced was that the price of the vehicle was now more than what it was on the website. When we inquired we were told it was because there ValPRO package had been added to the vehicle after it made it to the dealer as well as an extra safety braking light, These things were an extra $3000 that were added that we never asked for and didn't come with the vehicle. If we had been asked about them we would have declined them. When we inquired we were told this was standard policy for all Billions vehicles. We should have been told that up front. We were upset but wanted the vehicle so we signed the papers as we were getting tired and it was late. We took the Traverse home that night but still were upset by the way things were handled. The salesperson called and again tried to appease us by giving us a tank of gas and other accessories. My husband wrote a bad review on another sight and then he received a phone call from the salesman that was not pleasant. We will definitely not be buying a vehicle again from Biillion Chevrolet of Sioux Falls. We will buy from a different Chevy dealer and are even now looking at having our warranty work and service work done elsewhere. We know know why the had a class action suite filed against them for deceptive practices. This is the short version of what we all experienced so I say buyer be ware go else where. read more

At Billions Auto sioux falls SD we were given a written & signed traid in value for our truck & was traiding it in to purchase a new truck. The new truck was put on hold & had our name on it as sold as we were waiting on the truck to be shipped. Two weeks prior to the delivery date Jeff N contacts us stating his boss will only allow half of the trade in value he had agreed on. When Jeff N gave us the trade in value i asked him if this amount was correct & could not be changed, he stated the amount was correct & could not be changed.Very dishonest business & I would not trust this company when they tell you the amount they will give you for your vehicle read more

I had contacted Billion Auto in Sioux Falls, SD to schedule service for recall 19V-807 for my 2015 Nissan Murano on 6/29/2021. Since there is no longer a Nissan dealership in Pierre, SD where I live, I was forced to go out of town. After unsuccessfully scheduling a time with them online, I had to call the dealership. Because I had to travel 3 hours out of my way, I scheduled the service for 8/2/2021 and was sure to let them know I was coming from out of town. I dropped my car off last night, 8/1 at 10:30 pm. I called the next morning, 8/2/2021 at 9:29 am, for an update. There was no answer, so I had to leave a message. I received a returned call at 10:02 only to be informed by Raina (spelling?) that she had some "bad news." The part for my recall was now on back order, even though they had it when I made my appointment 4 weeks prior. She stated it went on back order last week, yet no one could give me a courtesy call?? Also, I had an 8 am appointment, but it took me calling and asking for an update to find out they didn't have the part?! Why wasn't I notified at 8 am? Or better yet, why wasn't I called the week before when they no longer had or had access to the part? Of course, the blame game was played between the service and parts department with the head parts guy out (how convenient). I am extremely, for lack of a better word, pissed! Not only did I have to take a vacation day from work, which was certainly no vacation, I had to travel 6 hours round-trip and will have to do the same damn thing again when the part becomes available. To top it off, I was planning on looking at/purchasing a newer Nissan. Because of this service, I didn't even look. I am ending a seven year relationship with this establishment because they use very deceptive business practice. You would think they would have treated me better then how the employees treated me on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 when I went in to see what was going on with my car. They will not go over and beyond for their customers because all we are to them are $ signs. They could have honored my request in a matter of minutes; instead, they were more concerned with me "committing" to the $75 diagnostic fee! I bought my first used certified car from billion and it was some of the worst customer service I have ever had. Initially they gave me the car on empty rather than even a quarter of a tank of gas and said they wouldn't fill it up unless I "worked that out in the initial cost" they also didn't change the oil. Within the first month I had to have my car serviced 3 times. When I tried emailing my representative about my concerns he NEVER returned my email and just kept sending generic "how great is your new car!" Emails. I then spoke with the general manager and all he said was " we can't predict when a car will break and neither can you." I will give them that I cannot predict when things will break, but at a restaurant they do not tell someone "yeah, well you can't make it any better" if your steak is under done and indeed they shouldn't. I have many years of car buying ahead of me and I will NEVER go back to billion. And I will encourage anyone that will listen not to either. read more

Poor service. Brought my car in to replace the headlights and had to come back the next day to get the lens placed back in correctly. After the 2nd round of service the lens still wasn't correctly placed and the headlights are not set evenly. I did not go back a 3rd time after being treated like I was a pest. read more

Not impressed with the salesman I dealt with. Travis seemed very nice and helpful, but in the end I feel like I was taken advantage of and lied to. Was told over the phone that someone was looking at the vehicle and I needed to put a deposit down to secure it. I asked for a visual inspection and photos of defaults. Got one picture of paint chips. After I paid the deposit he "found" a dent in the door! His shop put some touch up paint over the spots that didn't even match. Was told it would be detailed, but that was a lie. It had barely been cleaned. Only one key/fob. Had to fuel the vehicle because it only had 1/4 tank in it. Afterward it didn't start. Bad battery! Didn't even make it out of town. Not a good feeling and will never bring my business here again. read more

We didn't waste any time as we were coming from out of state so therefore got preapproved with our bank ahead of time. We had chosen a vehicle that we thought looked clean based off the pictures ... when we arrived our salesman Ray informed us the battery was dead that morning and if we decided to buy they'd replace it for free. When they pulled the car up I was in shock. The car had scratches everywhere, smelled of stale smoke, and was clearly burning oil. To top it off, the engine light was on. He tried telling us when buying in that price range you can't expect the best.. excuse me?!? It's a matter of cleaning it up and making it presentable. Then, we found another more expensive vehicle we wanted.. I took some time off work to get it approved only to find out that someone had put a deposit on it!! Mind you, our dealer was well aware we were interested but didn't inform us until after the fact. To top it all of, he tried telling us they didn't believe this guys loan would go through and it would be ours. Regardless, he'd get ahold of us. Never heard from him again. I'd NEVER buy a vehicle through this company and am glad we didn't. Oh, they also rob parts of other vehicles to fix ones that are pending. My advice to you go elsewhere. read more

ive bought 4 cars from them and everytime im disapointed. had a case of cds stolen when i brought my car in for an oil change they said was free till they finished and i had to pay. another car has transmission issues and ive brought to them and they say nothings wrong so im basically waiting for the damn thing to go so i can buy a new one warranty work from them is a joke. my newest addition has a noise sounds like a belt they say nothing is wrong i bought with 20 miles on it 2.5 years ago and is at 10000 now and they say its normal that will be the last car i buy from them. they have a monopoly i will buy from the junk yard down the road before i buy another veheicle from them Wife brought the car with noises in again and this time guy says we have a leak in our vacuum seal on our head gaskit or something what a joke all billions are the same excited to buy elsewhere read more

Just returned from taking my car into Billion Chevrolet on West 12th Street in Sioux Falls. I waited 10 minutes in the service line up before being aknowledged by one of the 4 service reps on duty. Ironically that was the only service rep waiting on a customer when I arrived. Two of the other reps were glued to computer screens the entire time I was there. Numerous employees walked by my car and not one made eye contact or said hello. When I was eventually escorted to my service rep he first told me there was a $75 diagnostic fee. I asked if that was applied to the repair bill. He said no. I told him my car was leaking fluid onto my garage floor below the differential and he repeated it would be a $75 fee to determine where the leak came from. After careful thought I asked that he open the overhead door so I could leave and he did so. These people are not interested in service! The signage above the door says Customer Service Center. There is nothing about my experience that would hint at Customer Service! I have owned 7 Chevy Suburbans over the last 30 years. I will be trading my current in on a car not owned by a Billion dealership and sharing the why with as many as will listen! read more
