I came in 4 weeks ago, got all new tires on my Honda CRV. Shortly after the light came on. And went off. And came on again. So I dropped into Tires Plus so they could look it over and fix it. They started to work on my car. I walked to Walgreens and when I came back my car was still in the shop with a tire off and the guy was working on someone else's car. The guy at the front desk admitted to me that the guy at the front desk STOPPED working on my car to fix theirs. When I asked why, I was told "your car will be done soon" It was not. I made an appointment in advance to have them check my brakes. My appointment was for 1 hour before they closed. After checking my brakes they saw that my brakes were bad and my pads were crumbling. They ended up staying two hours later due to my situation and completely replaced them at a good price too. I highly recommend them. read more

Family vacation 2021...bringing the California variant of COVID-19 to your city. I can't believe it happened. The dreadful low tire pressure indicator had lit up on my rental car. I needed to be in Rapid City that night, and had a schedule to go by. I tried calling the local Enterprise location in Sioux Falls, but, no one answered. After speaking to Enterprise roadside assistance, I was told to take my car to Tires Plus where Tim, the manager and Micah, the technician took care of my tire. Tim had told that Enterprise roadside assistance guy that they were shorthanded and would try to get to me ASAP. Micah was quick to find the nail and quickly patched and repaired the tire. I was out of there in less than an hour and was my schedule was not delayed much. Because it was a rental car, Enterprise took care of everything. Tim told me that I could leave after Micah finished the job and that I would not need to sign anything. It was quick and easy. Thank you Tim and Micah for getting me back on the road. read more

I was headed back home & needed to get a tire patched on the car. I stopped at Tires Plus to get it looked at. The worker said there were other cars ahead of me that needed to get looked at. He said that I could come back tomorrow. Apparently he didn't understand when I told him that I wasn't local. What a joke. Piss poor customer service. I know it doesn't take long to patch a tire. Went in for a simple oil change and tire plug. They called me a couple hours later told me I needed new brakes, okay, go ahead and get it done. Walk in to pay my bill, 1600 bucks... Turns out the term brakes includes rotors for over 800 dollars. They've lost my business, 30+ pickups that receive regular service, All because they failed to communicate exactly what they intended to do, and how much it would be. If you want to get shook down, go here, but if you don't like getting fleeced for simple service I'd suggest finding another place to do business. read more

Called and made an appointment to get new tires. They had 3 options in stock and amazingly they recommended the lowest price ones to match my driving needs. (refreshing they were not just selling price). I was in and out in about a hour along with getting an oil change. Very satisfied. Few weeks later was having issues with one tire not staying inflated only to find out I had picked up a nail (who would guess on our Sioux Falls roads). They promptly took my car in repaired the tire and I was off to continue my day. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! ATTEMPTED SCAM SURVIVOR HERE. Purchased tires online and scheduled appointment for installation. Store manager called and told me wrong tires came in, need to reschedule. Arrived for installation and did not have the card I used to Purchase tires online because i thoughti had already paid for it (I did have my DL however). Was told BY ANDREW "system won't allow them to proceed without original card". I expressed frustration (but did tell him I understood)...I offered to present and pay with a different card and he said "system won't allow it". I again expressed frustration....Came back the next day with original card and installation commenced. NOW HERE COMES THE SCAM- Andrew said I must have a "cracked spring" in my front right shock and entire front suspension needs to be replaced but not to worry because they could discount it down to $900. He was very adamant about SHOWING ME THE LEAK. I went back and took a photo of the GREASE SPOT. I declined their "offer" and took the car to 2 DIFFERENT SERVICE CENTERS INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP. Was told by both ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH SUSPENSION/SHOCKS. They took photos as well. I showed them my photo from Tires Plus and that "Leak"/grease spot was completely gone. Never was a leak. Tires Plus fabricated the situation by applying their own grease spot on the stem. AVOID THIS PLACE !! read more

I drove into Tires Plus on the Westside of Sioux Fall about 7:30 AM on Friday Oct.18th, 2019. The OPEN light was on so I knew they were open. Got in the door and was greeted by Joe Bilderback Store Manager. He took down my information and said his staff will be in by 8:00 AM so I figured I'd be there there plus minutes. While in the wait area I heard air wrenches working and it was before 8 AM and looked and saw Joe working on my truck before his staff got to work. I was out before 8AM and was thrilled that the store manager jumped right on the job and got it done. I have been a customer of Tires Plus for 20 years and always have great customer service. Came here to get an oil change and they told me i needed an extra $700 for repairs. It's been a month since my visit. My car is running perfectly. I got my car checked at a local shop and they told me some mechanics add on extra stuff you don't need just for commission and that my car was good to go. I'm a young lady and I'm pretty sure they tried to take advantage of the situation. I will never ever in my entire life visit a Tires Plus ever again! My daughter and I are driving across country and stopped in Sioux Falls for the night. When we went to leave, the low pressure warning came on for one tire and we went to Tires Plus because it was close by. I felt ok when I first went in because they are in the Firestone network, a company I use religiously at home. After an hour of them checking out the car "Lee" says he needs to show me something. That's when I knew things were going south. He proceeds to show me where the slow leak is and says he can't patch it. He then proceeds to tell me I have to replace ALL of my tires. The car has 17,000 miles on it! Knowing I was being played, I offered to pay for their labor (they did not charge me), and took our car to another business. We went 45 mins down the road to Graham's in Mitchell. Within 30 mins of arriving at Grahams, the tire was patched and we were on our way. Honestly, I don't understand why a business would prey on customers. They were super busy and it just doesn't make sense. I plan on reporting this business to Firestone. read more

Won't mount a oem used tire I had for spare because it's against policy. They have to sell you a tire. Ok well how much is a new tire.. They look up tire size and say we don't have that tire size at all in any brand. Ok so you need me to go ahead and have the tow truck drive put it back on the flat bed? Well we can't help you. Leave a family stranded 30 minutes from home. That's the service to expect. Only tire shop open on Sunday's in Sioux Falls. Betting that's the only real time they get business. We are from (way) out of town and unexpectedly ended up here when a power steering hose began leaking. The staff was professional, quickly diagnosed our problem, and then got to fixing it. They communicated with me very well and worked to get us back on the road to Yellowstone. I brought the car to them on a Friday at 4:30, and they were able to get it back to me right at close that night with the hose fixed so we could still take our children to the downtown area. When I brought it back to them early Saturday for the tire problem, Jordan was up front and told me he might not could replace the 2 tires because he had appointments but he would get it aligned and would work us in quickly if an appt didn't show. Sure enough, I came back an hour later and it was almost done with 2 tires. I would highly recommend this shop. read more

A year ago the Sioux Falls Tires Plus helped me out while I was passing through on a cross country road trip. The splash shield under my car had fallen down over the course of the trip, and was dragging intensely. Without any kind of appointment, they fastened it up for me, and also helped me to sturdy and reattach my bike rack which didn't fit my prius in the best of ways. These guys are amazing. I was in from out of town taking care of VA appointments when I woke up to a flat tire. They had me in and out with a new tire in less than an hour! I was amazed they carried my exact tire in the size I needed. Normally I have to order them and wait a week or so. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I rely on yelp for help, especially when I'm out of town and don't know my way around. I found this place highly recommended and was not disappointed. Guy sipping coffee casually outside garage bay door told me he didn't have a tech in for another 30 minutes and then they wouldn't be available for another 1-1.5 hours. The 60,000 mile tires I purchased from Tires Plus only lasted 27,000 miles. Manager was rude and offered no compensation besides a small discount on the same garbage tires. They also diagnosed my 3yr old vehicle with other problems like, bad battery, struts, shocks and said they needed to be replaced immediately. While traveling across the country, I sadly discovered that I was having serious brake issues. I researched local brake shops and found Tires Plus close to our hotel and they opened earliest at 7am. This was a huge plus as there were many, many miles to go.
