We ordered a few drinks and appetizers prior to our dinner plans. The wings are a must try as we had both the buffalo and maple sriracha wings. Both were extremely well seasoned and flavored. The meat itself was tender and moist. The pretzel bites were delicious and soft. However the beer cheese could have had more flavor to it and consistency it felt a bit watery. All of our drink were delicious. My raspberry sour is definitely a new favorite. Service was efficient the only mishap we had was she asking for our bill they gave us the wrong tables and when we corrected them they seemed shocked of our honesty.

It was a very short drive and the parking facilities were good .. the interiors and seating were good too. Lots of space inside to sit and drink. Service was good, and the waitress was always smiling and took care of us well. Being a brewery one thing that surprised me was they just had one IPA on the tap.. just one IPA.. can you believe it? I was eager and waiting to drink a home grown New England/Vermont IPA but all we had there was one variety... it was a hazy IPA and don't get me wrong. It tasted really well... but I wish they had more options. They also had a wheat ale and some wine varieties.... Even in the food front, the menu was limited and less options.. We ordered chicken wings, and it was ok. Sauce was a bit sweet .. one of the sauces was really good and spicy . Overall, it fell short of my expectation and wish they had more food and drink options.. 3 stars ...

River Roost is just a brewing facility with a tasting room, so there is no food provided or for sale. However, the place is across the parking lot from Big Fatty's Barbecue for some amazing, out of this world barbecue, Mac & Cheese, and the like. And you can bring it here to munch out while savoring the many beers on draft. And since it's not a restaurants, Fido is welcome. The owner was the attendant on that day and he was quite affable and also knew his beers like the back of his hand. I tried a "Mas Verde" IPA and it was absolutely delicious. Overall a superb time with wonderful people and great beer and superb food from across the street.... The only warning about the area is the parking situation. As the area (which used to be a blighted warehouse and industrial area) has become gentrified and dotted with apartments, the nearby Northern Stage Theatre, and numerous restaurants, parking has become an issue and customers should either arrive early or realize they may have to park several blocks away. But that only shows just how popular this area has become and part of it is River Roost's doing. Great place!!!!!

Sometimes, after a day out in VT, you just need a beer. Or a sandwich. Or both. Or many. Snow Republic has got you. They have great sandwiches, beers, FRIES, and super friendly service. I love the open atmosphere, while giving ski cabin. There is a ton of space for everyone to hang out and relax while enjoying the offerings. When I next visit Dover, I will certainly make Snow Republic a stop and visit, for some fantastic fries if nothing else.

Looking for a spot to grab food and a beer this looked to the perfect spot. They are a dog friendly establishment so dog owners can know. Food wise they offered a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, and other sandwiches. Beer wise was a little disappointing for our visit considering everything on draft was an IPA with a can option of a porter. I enjoy IPAs and know how popular the style is but at least have a couple other options available at all times. Can never go wrong with a light lager or pilsner and even a sour as well. Drink wise I grabbed The Magic Carpet Ride that was a Session IPA at 5% that packed a lot of flavor for the low ABV and my wife even liked it as a non-IPA fan. She grabbed the porter and thought it was alright but nothing memorable and not the best style for warm summer weather at times. Food wise she got their Luigi (grilled chicken sandwich) while I got their OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken). Her sandwich was good while mine was tasty yet one side of it tasted burnt and had a slight unpleasant taste to it. The sauce on it was really tasty though. We also split their cheesy bacon fries and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. The biggest knock was the fries themselves were cold from the start. Would likely pass on them next time. The overall vibe of the place was nice, had a rustic cabin woodsy feel to it as you'd expect for rural Vermont. The music being played though was tropical and it was a nice unexpected surprise. They had both inside and outside seating, outside was a little bit of a miss with the road being so close and noise of traffic. We did prefer inside overall. They also had many games you could play, a pool table, shuffleboard, and card/board games too. Overall I would say the food and beers knocked it down by one star but still worth visiting! Great vibes just not our favorite brewery.

The beer garden is very nice and has a relaxing atmosphere. The benches and everything looked very well taken care of and they even had some games out! With any food/drinks, it's always a very subject thing, so all I can say is try it for yourself, but they had quite a spread of beers and we really enjoyed our time here.

The beer garden is a beautiful, relaxing and welcoming place, surrounded by a vegetable garden and hop vines. Alternative music fills the air at a comfortable level as patrons mill about in socially distanced tables. Some folks stay in the beer garden; some purchase their 4-packs and leave. Their offerings include several IPAs, pilsners, and hard seltzers. I tried their Rustic, New England IPA, a lighter flavored and yet delicious IPA, followed by their Tangerine Speedo, a citrusy, California-type IPA. My husband flavored the Jet Lag, a German-styled Pilsner, heavier than the ones at the Hoffbrauhouse, but nonetheless a most superb tasting selection. Food wise, their offerings are limited to cheese and crackers but their cheese is Vermont's Cabot. A worthy weekend experience

This brewery is perched on the side of a mountain with one of the best views of the valley below. For a travel day during the winter travel season it was busy but not overly full. The place is cash only which is posted and they have an atm in the front room for ease. The mountain rustic decor matches the place and area. There was counter service for food and drinks. They had both canned cocktails, wine and locally made beers to sample. The beer selection is great if you like IPA's. We ordered two pizzas and both came out quickly from their in room wood fired oven and were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling near by or during leaf peeping season

Firstly I will say they did have a sign saying cash only, but do have an ATM for those without any. It is also a place you sit yourself and then order at the bar. It is located at an absolutely beautiful scenic view and they do have some outside seating so you can have a brew and pizza with a nice view! Beer wise I enjoyed their All Day Drinker and it was a light and crushable brew with more malt than hops shining through. My wife got their lemon drop sour which was refreshing with a hint of tartness. They also had a cider as well as some IPAs and non-alcoholic options too. Pizza wise they had a good variety of options including some not so traditional choices. The prices ranged from cheese being $20 and going up to $25 for the most. Those not interested in pizza are out of luck unless the one salad sounds good to them though I will say. Since we had 6 people in our group we ended up choosing 4 different pizzas. Our selections were Meatiator (think meat lovers), Potato Pie (mashed potatoes, bacon, sour cream, etc), Honey Apple Pie (honey, apple slices, cheeses, bacon, ricotta, basil), and lastly Okie Dokie Artichoke (garlic oil, lemon marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sausage, cheese, and red pepper flakes). It gave us a really good variety and like I said above our whole party enjoyed the pizzas. Had a great cook to it, with lots of toppings that packed in lots of flavor. The Okie Dokie may have been the crowd favorite while the Honey Apple Pie was the most surprising flavor. Leaned towards sweet with the honey and apples but wasn't quite dessert pizza. Great spot to come for a pizza and beer/drink while also taking in the nearby view!
