M is always lookin' around for new things to do in town and there are plenty of those (non-gambling…read morenon-drinking) things to do. She went ahead and bought tickets on line for the Mob Museum. We chose to go on a Tuesday, the fewer people the better for us. Parking was $8. This is right down there by the Old Downtown, Fremont, the Nugget. Fact that this building was a Courtroom and Post Office. The layout was very well done starting on the top/3rd floor with beginning of the the crooks and then the town. Each floor has its own notoriety in the time frame/ era. The displays are informative, a lot of reading. Tour guide headsets are available too, we found the docents were very knowledgable. I asked them if they knew where the term "86ed" came from? There are quit a few "actual items", the St Valentines Day Wall...some Tommy sub-machine guns, and other bits and bob's of stuff. I didn't see any wax figurines of the bad guys for photo op's. They did take Pic's in a Line Up setting $15-$35 depending. No actual cars or vehicles, I like the tactile stuff. I guess Bonnie & Clyde don't qualify. Certainly the Mob Hall is a fun, once is enough venue to see. We made sure to stop at the speak easy in the basement. We spoke with the staff and enjoyed the stories and beverages Yes a real bar it is. and to finish the story...Eight miles out and six feet down is 86. Every Mobster knows that right? Lefty? My friend and I were looking for something different to do, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The museum is packed with fascinating information, and if you want to read everything, plan to spend about three hours here. We were lucky enough to catch a talk by a former mob member, which made the experience even more memorable. A special shout out to the employees throughout the museum. Their passion for the history is contagious, and they add so much to the experience by sharing stories and answering questions. The museum also has a great gift shop and café. If you're looking for something authentic and engaging beyond the casinos, I highly recommend it.

If you decide to get the card and do the immersive storyline, it's very likely that kids can understand and take the lead. It's not too simple so you can spend some time and get your money's worth but it's also not overly complicated that they won't want to do it. We did the story all the way to the end (kids: 11 and 5) and it took us about 3 hours. While we could go to the original MW in SF on our own without kids, I don't see us doing this one without them but maybe if you are visiting Las Vegas without kids and really wanted to experience MW, you might enjoy it for what it is. We are locals so we can save it for visits from younger family members. We saw plenty of adult-only groups inside having a great time. It's something different to do, just off the strip, and while it's a little pricey, I think it's worth the money for the time you can spend there. We do highly recommend it and the surrounding Area 15 is very cool, and a great addition to Las Vegas! It's been adding new stuff everytime we turn around so look to maybe combine your time at MW with another activity too or one of the restaurants.

People were saying that you could spend hours here so we allocated the time for it. We arrived 30 mins late to our reservation time but didn't have any issues getting in. The security at the front was kind of rude. I asked a simple question of whether there were bathrooms inside because I genuinely did not know as a first timer and wanted to prepare just in case there wasn't. He said something along the lines of "well i would hope there is..." in a condescending tone and other snarky remarks about our cup of water that another employee said it was OK to bring inside. That already set off a bad start. You enter into this supermarket with bizarre items and there are hidden passageways that leads you deeper inside. We didn't know there was a scavenger hunt that you had to pay for so we were confused when we saw many people watching videos and running around. Some of the rooms were cool to explore but it just wasn't our vibe. The tickets were expensive too so we felt like we wasted our time there. We were in and out within an hour.

What a cool way to spend some time doing something different…read more Initially we were gonna head to Museum of Illusions. Then, looking outta our window- I saw Paradox Museum! Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. Very budget friendly. And from a previous review I read on Yelp, you can also find discounts directly on their website. You'll exit at the gift sho

Exceptional Customer Service - Thank You, Sheryl!…read more I wanted to share what has been one of the most wonderful customer service experiences I've ever had. During my visit to the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas, I purchased a beautiful pair of earrings from the gift shop. Unfortunately, after returning to my hotel, I discovered that one of the gems had fallen out. I contacted the gift shop and had the absolute pleasure of speaking with the manager, Sheryl. After explaining what had happened, she kindly offered to exchange the earrings. What happened next genuinely touched me. Sheryl went completely above and beyond by personally travelling all the way to my hotel to exchange them! Not only was this an incredibly thoughtful gesture, but I also had the pleasure of having a lovely conversation with her. She was warm, friendly, compassionate and genuinely one of the loveliest people I've met during my time in Las Vegas. It's so rare to encounter someone who takes such genuine pride in looking after customers. Sheryl didn't just resolve a problem; she turned a disappointing situation into a truly memorable and heartwarming experience. Sheryl, if you happen to read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are an absolute credit to the Titanic Exhibition, and your kindness will stay with me long after I've returned home to England. I sincerely hope the management team recognises what an exceptional person they have representing their business. Thank you again, Sheryl. You're a beautiful soul!
