His reply was yes, very much so, can we get your name and phone number to call back. Sure, gave it. So,how long about? Oh, about an hour or come back 15 minutes earlier to the hour. Having the gift of a 95 year father can be challenging and that's fine, this needs to be done for his safety I'm out here in Prescott from Orlando for a week's visit so my time is valuable to accommodate his needs. We returned to the store to be turned away And was asked to wait another hour. Shame me once, but shame me twice, will awaken that retired military ass chewing moment. Wanted less than a star...Tried to call V erizon for a real person - five times .... no customer service - talked to someone in India - bad connection, ironic, for a phone service!!! I have an outstanding bill of $400 that I never signed up for... fraudulent ... their advertisement announced a free phone for a trade in!!! Never happened and the info was hidden from me that I'd be paying $16 a month for the phone until 2027!!! The phone doesn't work at my home - it's a 2024 that's now obsolete!! I tried to upgrade, but this $400 has to be paid before an upgrade!!! If you want hidden fees, inconsistent information, customer service from India, not understanding customer service, having an agent shout at you when you ask questions about monthly charges that you never signed up for from fraudulent advertising for a free phone trade in deal, then go with Verizon while they tell you to have a nice day.. and then hanging up on you! .... from India!!! read more

Had an appointment, had to wait 20 minutes even though there were 3 employees standing around talking to each other. Eventually one of them strolled over to help. We wanted a small change to our plan. He couldn't make the change and all he could do was repeat several times, it's not my fault. We never said it was. His only suggestion was to use the call in Help Desk. A complete waste of time. read more

This review is not in regards to service at a store but rather the business and the way they handle billing. My mom passed away and I was handling her bills after she passed. The verizon bill was coming in so I wanted to pay it as my mom would want me to because she was so honest and she had some money in her checking account. I called verizon to make a final payment and informed them of the situation. They had some late fees because she was behind because she was dead and I was trying to get them to remove the late fees. I told them I had no obligation to pay but wanted to pay thru the end of the month my mom passed without late fees. After a bunch of back and forth with verizon I finally just paid to get it behind me. 9 months later i find out they billed her an additional month of service and sent to DCM collections and they are going after my moms estate for the $78. I called verizon and explained the situation, the representative talked to their supervisor and explained what was going on and they said to explain the situation to DCM. Really........like DCM really has all the history and phone calls I made back 9 months ago. They hear BS all day long and have no obligation to try and get to the bottom of it. So I will pay the $78 bucks, likely verizon will only get a small portion of is as they sell these debts for pennys on the dollar. I hope it was all worth it for you verizon. Dropped in as a drive by and I was the only customer in the store. Trevor assisted me in purchasing a new iPhone and it took about 15 minutes (the phone is being shipped to me). He was very efficient. He was the only employee there, but since the store was not busy it was fine. read more

There should be a negative rating. They destroy all the data on my phone. The worst part is the contemptible treatment afterwards. They destroy my data and then act like it does not matter. They can treat anyone like dirt, wreck anything, and act like it does not matter. You are just dirt and we can destroy any customer with impunity because they do not matter. Just amazing we added another line to our account now we have two phones receiving the same inbound calls. I have called Verizon fourteen times cut off each time plus I did have one time we will call you back five hours later no call back. How can they talk about the amazing customer service they will sell you something but no derive on the backend. Plus you cannot even drive to one if there stores with out an appointment. They should stop selling new customers and fix the ones they have first. read more

Beware of this Verizon kiosk at Costco. My 77-year-old mother wandered over to them and by the time she was done, they'd sold her a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone (she doesn't even know how to send a text message), home internet service on a variable dataplan (duplicating a fixed hard wired system she already had) and a home wireless phone number -- attempting to port her current number over. The bill for the first month, along with all the activation fees came to $250 and other than a flip cell phone, my mother didn't need ANY of that. She went back many times over successive days and returned everything and one guy there, Alex, was very nice, but another guy named Michael wouldn't even let her call me and let me talk to him to ensure we were doing everything correctly. It was a nightmare. She eventually had to go to the corporate store nearby which was only marginally better. They were mean to her and had no sympathy for the whole situation. She's on a fixed income and never could have afforded all of that. But, they never even fully explained all of the recurring charges. In the end, they took back all the stuff but did NONE of the credits back to the bill. They were probably waiting to do that, lest they not make their sales quota for the month, but it was almost $250 of stuff that she didn't want and never used and never activated. They took advantage of someone who had no idea of what she was doing and then, despite taking back the stuff, didn't credit her account properly. It took me an hour on the phone with the right person at Verizon (my 2nd attempt at the corporate level) to get this whole bill squared away. read more

This is about the Verizon store on Glassford Hill in Prescott Valley. I went in at about 6:00 P.M. on a Friday. The two service people were helping customers. They helped the customers for approximately 1-1/2 hours while I stood there waiting. A woman came in who possibly had been in earlier and was taken immediately. I didn't make any kind of a fuss and at 7:30, when I finally got to the counter and help and told the service rep how I was feeling, he told me if I continued, he would refuse to help me. HUH??? It turned out, after waiting all that time, there was nothing he could do for me, so he said, even though I had been told my phones were compatible with Verizon. I left and went to TMobile. It was approximately 5 minutes to 8 and they closed at 8. However, they were polite, showed me a phone I could exchange mine for at no cost and were willing to wait on me and conclude the service. I offered to come back on Saturday when we would have more time and an appointment was made for me for noon the next day. Very professional and nice. A far difference from the rudeness I received at Verizon. Verizon can go to hell so far as I am concerned. read more

This is an update from my October Review. 16+ years with Verizon and they still cannot get my simple upgrade from an iPhone X to an iPhone XS MAX straight. They finally gave me my $515.00 trade-in for a paid off iPhone X. This month they reversed the credit for the iPhone X and I now have a $600+ payment due for December. They want to steal my trade-in. Today they told me my account is a mess which I already know. A manager is supposedly working on my situation. Because of all the problems I do not want to have auto-pay so they cannot drain my bank account and I cannot remove my bank info from Verizon. It looks like we are headed to Small Claims Court. I will switch to AT&T when I get this all straightened out if that ever happens. Beware of Verizon. read more

this store is full of idiots. i finally got through and they wanted a pin number on my acct that is years old. i never had a pin number they refused to help me... wanted to charge me $15 to change my number and 40 for a new home device i offered to give them my debit card to charge it and asked them to mail it to me... they refused.... tried to force me to come into their store.... the last time i did that was 8/2017 and it cost me hundreds in fraud!!!! verizon sucks to the max and don't believe one word that they "care" about you... it is all lies.... read more
