    Screwed up my account and didn't seem to know what was going on. I had to explain things several times, and still messed up my trade in.

The Issue: My smart phone was accidentally thrown into Talk Back mode when my basset hound puppy, unhappy because his sister had grabbed the prime real estate area on the bed which is snuggled into my side, stomped on my chest with the full force of all his 32 pounds centered into one paw. This caused a seismic event on the bed and by the time the shaking was over, my phone was stuck in Talk Back mode. After spending at least two hours trying everything suggested from Google, You Tube and Reddit to fix the problem, I became despondent. As I am not very diligent at backing up important data, I was worried I would never see my contacts, photos and text messages again. The Hero: 1. Ethan convinced me to bring the phone in. 2. He got it working and back to normal within approximately 15 seconds. 3. He saved my professional life since I depend on my phone daily for all professional contacts. 4. He refused to charge me for the service. The Verdict: Nerdy Neighbor is my go-to for all my electronic repair needs. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, expertise and heroic tech repair service!

    I am a student who came in with a computer that wasn't charging consistently. Nerdy Neighbor failed…read moreto fix my computer TWICE and refused to refund me. The first time they replaced the battery and it was about $270 and when my computer wasn't fixed I brought it back in and they replaced the charging ports, this was $98 because they only charged me for the new ports. Up to this point I was satisfied and felt that the service was good. Then I got my computer back again and it still wasn't fixed. I am out almost $400, I am skipping grocery trips to be able to afford this and I have missed countless assignments bringing it into the shop. I called to ask for a refund and they refused to refund the work- the majority of the price and said they would refund the parts but only if they stripped the parts from my computer so I am then out hundreds of dollars and I would have a completely un-usable computer. They would have the parts back to use in another computer and still were paid for their work. 100% a massive waste of time and money and now I can hardly afford to get it fixed elsewhere.     after a dismal and unpleasant experience with april (attitude comparable to a bowl of cold mashed…read morepotatoes) at the prescott valley store, i called the iron springs/willow creek store and spoke with dominic. i told him about two phones i was considering and he explained the pros/cons of each. i spent about five minutes on the phone and he answered my questions patiently and knowledgeably and offered recommendations and suggestions. at the store, i was greeted by gabriel, the store manager. dominic was busy and he offered to help me or let me wait for dom. gabriel was also friendly, helpful, professional. he then handed me over to zane, a very pleasant, knowledgeable young man. while i was waiting for the transfer of info between phones, i watched the young men in this store not only interact but engage with customers. i eavesdropped on evan assisting another couple and was amazed and impressed that for one so young, he sure knew what he was talking about. friendly, knowledgeable, professional, patient, courteous, helpful. almost sounds like the boy scouts pledge, but they are so much more than that. i will go this store every time. thank you, gentlemen t-mobile: pay attention! you have a goldmine here

It is not inexpensive, however, you cannot put a monetary value on being without a phone. He was much more helpful in offering a solution that Verizon or Geek Squad offered. He later helped me with data transfer and stuck to his time estimate and communicated as promised. After the positive experience, I went back to get a screen and camera protector. I am told it's a $10 replacement fee + installation for each for the time that I own the phone--better than what I previously got through Pure Gear from Verizon. My experience was very positive and I would recommend ReConnected.

Not a good way to pick an establishment for such an important task as phone or computer repair! The nice young man seemed like an honest kid. Quite a devious dude as it turned out. I paid a $50.00 deposit for the initial determination, which would be applied any future expenses incurred toward resolution. He informed me after I returned a couple of hours later that my phone was irrepairable. I inquired about a replacement and could the data be transferred from my dead phone. He said he could try, and informed me that they had a special service plan that would save me money if I had any future issues with my new phone, which was supposed to be an open box special. The service plan, he said, would be $100.00 but because they were having a special promotion the cost would be refunded with the purchase of my new phone. He neglected to inform me that the $100.00 was actually a monthly charge for membership in their club. I did not find out about that little detail until my bank informed me of the $100.00 charge at the beginning of the next month. I immediately called Recconected's Scottsdale office and explained that I did not want a subscription to their service club. The person I spoke with said they would refund the charge and cancel the subscription. This was a bold faced lie as neither of these items occurred. Additionally they continued to charge my account for two more months before I learned from my bank that they had declined to pay a fourth charge. Many hoops later I was able to prevent further theft from my account. Not an honest business. Not trustworthy since the individual did not honor his word that the initial charge would be removed and the subscription terminated. Do not do business with this shady outfit! Crooks and worse!
