They were kind and helpful to call around to their other shops in the area to find a screen but to no avail. I then went shopping for a new phone but what I found for under $500 were all pretty much what I already had. I looked online and decided to call Xtreme phone & computer repair on Brownsville Rd. The owner was fantastic and was able to locate a replacement screen, he did have to order it but the phone was repaired and ready to be picked up in 48 hours. The cost to repair was reasonable and my phone is working great now without any problems.

So I went to the store in Whitehall, PA and all the young men working there were very friendly and professional. We were told by one of the guys to go ahead and purchase an unlocked phone and come back (we found one much cheaper than one at the T-Mobile store) and they would set us up with a 30-day international calling plan so we could call our loved ones in the U.S. while we traveled. So I went to Best Buy and purchased a name brand "unlocked" smart phone for $110 and went back to the T-Mobile shop. Another young man waited on me and reviewed the plan I wanted but wasn't sure how to set it up so he went to the manager. The manager told me they could only use a phone that had a prior T-Mobile account on it, and furthermore, they "don't have those kinds of plans," even though the first young man showed me the 4 or 5 plans during our first visit to the store. So I drove to the store twice in one day, spending about 3 hours and 40 miles of driving and $110 to not have my need fulfilled. So, it seems there is a serious lack of training which will prevent me from considering using or recommending T-Mobile in the future.

But when I questioned him and he wasn't able to address my concerns he became angry. The grand finale happened when I then asked to return the phone, as it had a 30 day warranty. At that point he was furious and proceeded to hide the back room. When I then told him that I was willing to pay the restocking fee, he just kept walking away and another agent told me to leave the store. A $1200.00 phone should be able to find a signal and provide decent connection strength. Beware of Verizon deals on phones, and don't rely on the customer service. The young men at the West Mifflin store have no respect or patience for elderly customers.

I took my Ipad to Cell Phones and More to get the screen fixed. When I initially spoke to them on…read morethe phone they provided and estimate of $125 based on my description of the damage. When I brought it in and they were able to look at it the estimate was revised downward to $110. After it was fixed and I went to pick it up the final price was $100. This is a rarity in my experience to have a merchant consistently move their price downward especially when you've essentially previously agreed to a higher price. $100 was a highly competitive price. During my research to find a place the next lowest rate I found was $150. The repair was turned around in 4 hours. I dropped it off at 11:00 AM and was able to pick it up at 3:00. Given how much I use my Ipad this was a lifesaver. Typically they offer a groupon for iPhone repairs which is how I found out about them in the first place. It is not applicable to Ipad repairs though. If you need a cell phone / tablet repair I'd highly recommend Cell Phones and More
