Brought two cell phones from Parker at the store on Sunday, April 3, 2022. All I can say is wow, what customer service did he and the management provide. Parker looked at our Verizon account, explained in detail what our options were, listened to our concerns and supplied several suggestions. The process of purchasing the phones and transferring data was extremely efficient and fast. We were totally surprised by the service we received. I would highly recommend the store. read more

cell phones are like cable tv, they are a pain to deal with. I was having a lot of problems with my iPhone 8 and went in for a new simm chip which they gladly replaced for free. It made a little difference but was still not as responsive as it had been. Was hit with a sales pitch that I could upgrade my two phones to iPhone 11 but for $10 but would have to change my plan. I wanted something in writing that said my plan would only change $10 as I was promised. Long story short, my bill went from $86 to $120 a month and to get that, I had to go to automated billing to lower it from $140. I went to public schools but the math they taught me would say $86 to $140 was an increase of more than $10 a month! The only reason I gave this review 2 stars is, I felt I got away cheap as they could have hosed me a lot more. I was locked after I agreed to everything. Now they might say, I didn't understand. Well, I understand what they told me and what the WOULDN'T give me in writing (wonder why). read more

I drove from SW Virginia to this Verizon store on Robinhood Rd, arriving about 1:15 pm on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted by John immediately upon entering the store, masked for COVID prevention respect. I had a new IPhone 11 Pro and I just needed a case and screen saver. John cordially showed me my requested Otter Box case as well as some other choices. He got me two PureGear Steel 360 screen savers, and applied one of them expertly to my phone. I had my case and screen savers and was out of the store in under 10 minutes with no wait. John was friendly, professional and easy to talk to, respecting me appropriately as the appreciative customer. I will gladly drive 75 miles to this store for any of my Verizon needs in the future. I dropped and broke my phone and went to this store for a replacement. I usually hate going to any Verizon store because of past experience but I was pleasantly surprised this time. I was assisted by Trevor, who was very knowledgeable and helped me switch out my phone. I went back several days later because I didn't like the phone that I picked and Trevor was there to assist again. Had to replace one of our LG v10 due to a manufacturer defect, which made the phone unusable. We came in with ideas on replacements and wound up making our choice. The rep who helped us, Austin, was able to get everything we needed and then some. He even kept our little guy occupied as we were making our choices. Yesterday, my phone failed so I went there due to the convenient location. The sales rep. whose name I don't remember was condescending and smug. Basically, he said: you have to expect that with a less expensive phone, and gave me the number of tech support. On the bright side, the tech support person Bianca was excellent. We went thru a number of troubleshooting steps and she determined that I had a bad SIM card. She got me set up - at a different store - and their customer service was excellent as well (1990 S. Zero stars. The Manager, Josh Denny, was very combative, smug, and disrespectful. Offered no help, advise on actions to take, or suggestions on where to go next. I returned one week after purchasing my new iPhone 8 with a liquid screen protector that was put on in store, with so many scratches on it that shouldn't have been on the phone had the liquid screen protector been applied properly. He insulted me by consistently calling me "hun" with a condescending smirk on his face while accusing me of throwing my phone across pavement. After explaining to him I had surgery two days after purchasing the phone so not only has it not seen pavement, but it had not been outside, around car keys, or anything of the sort that should cause a phone to have such deep scratches. Josh Denny laughed at my face when I came back in the store to get his name and asked him to spell it so I could formally complain about his unbecoming behavior. I would not recommend this store to anyone, the sales people not only put the screen protector on incorrectly and ineffectively, but also failed to own up to their mistake and help me find a solution. read more
