The sales associate was incredibly helpful, I believe his name was Blake. The other associate I dealt with who checked me in was friendly as well. This overall rating is due to the condescending prick of a store manager. I won't go to this verizon again even though it's closest because he doesn't deserve to have business help get his sales quotas to make it seem like he is actually competent at his job. In response to your comment: Obviously you aren't trying to improve since the majority of these negative comments that have you at a 1.9 customer average at this location over the last number of years are mainly focused on the poor service and attitude of the store manager. Check in at door. They take 3 other customers who came in after us ahead of me. Lousy customer service. Why check in when clearly it makes no difference. When I questioned the sales person she said she is the assistant manager and is doing what Verizon directs. The method is take the big orders and the small ones can wait. I say b.s!! She also said she couldn't help us as she needs to service the "quick" customers. When another sales person became available, he attempted to take care of us but couldn't. Gave me a 1-800 number to call. Oh, did I say the original assistant manager was working on selling a phone and service to another customer. What a liar!! The store manger Chris is extremely rude. Refused to help me. Didn't even attempt to look into my situation to try to understand. I have been a customer for a long time. Never again will I go to this location again. I will drive further than to see them again. My bill is always messed up and everyone is bouncing me around from department to department. Unacceptable. Hoping someone from Verizon reads this, so they can improve their customer experience. Did a phone upgrade. Salesperson never said that a new cherging cube was needed so I had to return to buy one. With the original sales person & the 2nd one, I confirmed that the trade in was to be brought back to the store. Returned with the trade in phone & was told sorry, you're supposed to mail it. So 2 wasted trips, due to poor customer service. read more

Worst customer service ever. I have been a Verizon customer for less than a week. I'm already ready to switch. I went in an asked for help an got belittled by the manager. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me. Thankful the rep from the store I purchased it from was able to resolve the problem. Awful service at this store - I even placed my order online and just needed to pick up.

My Wife and I went in to look and purchase a new phone and possibly a tablet. We arrived behind a middle aged women. Every worker in there said hello to her and began to ask her what she needed. My Wife and I stood there with our baby waiting to be greeted, no one came to us. Bare in mind there were only three other people in the store, including the lady that walked in before us. We proceeded to look at the different phones and tablets they had on display. We did this for 15-20 minutes and no one even asked if we needed help let alone said hello. As we looked over at the employees they were talking and laughing with each other. We were so fed up that we ended up just leaving. They all just looked at us as we walked out the door. In short, this store is a joke! We were judged as a young couple wasting time on a Saturday night. When in reality we were planning on purchasing a new phone and tablet that night. OK so this location is the lesser of evils of all the greater Cincy stores. I have had the best service and experience here. Anytime you go into Verizon you get 20 different stories depending on who you are speaking to, but consistency here has been key for me. I think the manager here makes the difference. read more

Worst experience in all of my wireless shopping, I had just set up service on 2-14-17 I had an issue with my phone the rep at the store was extremely unhelpful didn't even bother to open my account upon my visit explained I was new to Verizon and the issue with my phone and that I was within my 14 days and I needed to exchange. He simply told me exchanging my device wasn't an option the best he could do was have a phone sent to me in a week. So after this I just left called the gentleman who sold me the phone had me come in and swapped it right out. I will only deal with the Verizon Store in kenwood down by Trader Joe's I highly recommend that location ask For Anthony or Jack it's worth the extra 30-40 min drive for me read more

Worst service ever. When my friend and I arrived the check in machines were not working. We waited for 5 min before someone came and even asked us if we needed help. All we wanted to know was if they had an iPhone in stock and the guy wouldn't tell us, he just insisted we give him the phone number on the account and wait. There were supposedly only 2 people ahead of us, we've now been waiting 20 minutes and seen at least 5 other people get help ahead of us. We are leaving. read more

I have been a verizon customer since 2001 and just had the WORST experience at this store. I came in to get a new phone and knew exactly what I wanted and was hoping for a quick and easy visit. I was never offered the option of trading in my old phone and getting credit for my working iPhone 6. All they did was try to get me to buy an Apple Watch, iPad and bluetooth headphones. When I asked about the headphone jack they said there wasn't one and only bluetootth headphones would work on the iPhone 7 or 8. They lied to me. The phone comes with an adapter to for wired headphones. The salesperson also tried to make it sound like only wireless charging would work. Do not trust this store. I'm ready to switch to a different carrier after this visit. read more

This location has improved it's customer service over the past couple years, so I am giving them an 3 star, Meh-okay rating - because it's so hard to get thru on the phone and waiting is usually an issue. But, the last 2 times the people who helped me really went out of their way and the transactions were handled promptly. *Side note they DID 'finally' install a bench to sit on while you do wait. so kudos for listening to your 'older' customers on that one - Overall, our only hope for sanity is if we ALL lower our expectations of what TRUE customer service is all about in the cell phone / techy industry read more

Been a customer with Verizon for over fifteen years. They are normally amazing. Amazing customer service is what I have come to expect. But this store is very different. Adding charges, upselling, inaccurate info, account mistakes etc. I'm still a hard core Verizon fan. I called customer service. They fixed everything.
