Do not use Verizon, their customer support line is criminal. You can talk to anyone, you can not cancel your account. When I sign into my account it locks me out. Because I am on autopayment, I am stuck paying for crappy internet. They want to charge me $10.00 to talk with someone, which I am happy to pay, but they keep hanging up on me. They suck!, Their website sucks, their customer service sucks. I have been trying to talk with someone for over an hour and I keep hitting dead ends and I keep getting hung on..... I stopped into Verizon to have a policy change explained to me. The person who took my information down said he is not at liberty to explain it. He went on to say that it has been the policy for 20 years despite the recent change I learned about. I asked to speak to a manager. As I was waiting for the manager, a woman stopped in to just ask if she could have a print out of her bill. They told her she would have to wait an hour. I noticed a person speaking rudely to another customer about her phone being damaged. The woman was upset (I would've been, too). He told her that is what it is and deal with it. She was devastated. Customer service is about understanding that people are dealing with other things in their lives. This woman lost her phone, and she may not have the money to buy a new one. Instead, the staff person treated her with no empathy. The person who spoke rudely to the other customer ended up being the manager. He would not explain things, and told me to deal with it. I felt very belated after being a Verizon customer for over 20 years. He told me to go to T-Mobile if I felt upset. I will never come back to this location, again. read more

Hi I just wanted to say that we stopped into the Verizon on Erie boulevard yesterday January 29th. I was having a problem with my phone I wasn't receiving any sound when I was receiving a text I felt embarrassed because I thought it was something simple but I couldn't figure out. My first point of contact was a gentleman who stands at the podium to ask what you need he was very kind and tried to figure it out himself it took a while but he didn't complain. The store started to fill up so I stepped aside and was waiting for another tech. As we were waiting another gentleman came out and asked who was next. He ended up being the store manager. He took my phone and worked on it for a very long time. He knew there was a workaround but he just couldn't figure it out and the assistant manager then came over and together they figured it out. It was a quirky situation but they never complained or made me feel inadequate. Thank you so much for helping me out thank you!! read more

Because I can't recall the passcode on my iPhone 6 trade-in, corporate VZW policy refuses to allow staff to accept it in on trade and staff won't offer any assistance in resolving the relatively simple issue. Rather, I need to return home and connect the iPhone to my MacBook and reset the phone via iTunes on my own and then travel back to store again to trade it in. I'm sure VZW corporate is wary of iPhone theft, but the trade in was bought here and on my account, easy to verify that it's mine. #EpicFail in customer service, but why should I be surprised? I've nearly come to expect such nonsense from VZW. It's about time I start to explore the competition for my 4 lines and $250/month paid for such repeatedly piss poor VZW customer service. Verizon - Pretty busy already 10 mins after opening on a Sunday AM - Mobile Phones Near Me - Syracuse, New York

The long lines are such a deterrent for coming in to this store. Even five minutes after store opens on a Sunday there is even a wait. However, we were taken care of thoroughly and the wait was worth it. Many of the confusing changes in our plan was explained and I feel much more comfortable with what we have now. I just wish I didn't have to plan many hours out of my day just to get answers. read more

I came here after having a horrendous experience with the store at Destiny USA. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable about their phones and services. I also recommended them to a coworker who had a similar experience at the one in Destiny, and she was happy with the service at the Erie Blvd location as well. The staff are happy to demo their devices for you, including the speakers which was nice. And, I got to pick the music so I know what it would be like for me. On the business end, I have a family member who uses them for personal and business needs. She is the one who recommended them to me. She says they've always been courteous and efficient. They are easy to work with. read more

After calling the number for this store I was connected to a rep that was not even at the store. I just wanted to know if they could transfer my texts and photos over to the new phone I had just bought. The rep tried calling the store twice and I was put on hold for ten minutes each time. Needless to say nobody would answer the phone at the PHONE store. So I never did find out the question to my answer. Very poor customer service. Worst I have ever seen..... read more

Probably the worst kind of service I could ask for in a store/company as a whole. Not only did I get threatened here by one of the workers because I was understandably frustrated and angry but the manager on duty was a prick. He refused to help at all because he felt that there was no point. Never switch to Verizon for the deal that'll pay off your previous carrier's cancellation fee/what's left of the phone you have to pay off. The reason is because they'll jerk you around for six months and lie and say they sent a gift card multiple times when they didn't. Then they will proceed to try to make it your fault that you're in collections with your previous carrier because who can pay 400 dollars and a monthly bill from Verizon and your regular bills on top of that without that gift card they promised. We had to contact corporate and they basically gave us the run around until we got pretty much what was owed to us. Also don't threaten to call the better business bureau because apparently Verizon corporate owns them. If I didn't owe the cost of two phones myself I'd cancel today. But alas I owe money on two phones. I can't wait till it's paid off because then I'm cancelling and never going back to Verizon. read more
