I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. Why lie to customers instead of telling the truth? I came into this store with the idea of starting my own line with a new carrier. Rodrigo told me that because I was trading in my old 7+ and that my credit checked out, I would be getting $400 off of a new iPhone. I thought this was a sweet idea because I would only have to pay roughly $360 for the new iPhone 11. So, I told him that I wanted to make a pretty sizable down payment on the phone because I didn't want to bother making payments on it because of some friends and family past experience doing so. He says yeah that's perfect but due to some sneaky business on Verizon end, I need at least $10 owed for whatever reason. I end up getting the phone and I download the Verizon app to find out that 1) I didn't receive a $400 discount and now I owe $410 on this phone and 2) I would only get Disney plus free for 6 months instead of 12 months like he told me. Overall, these people are salesmen at the end of the day but some people would like pure honesty. The manager telling Brandon to find a way to sell a table or a new phone to me, he got by providing me the incorrect information, the good thing I called customer service and told me I am able to return the product at no extra cost. This morning I was having problems with my phone I spoke to Verizon, I was sent to a near by store. I walked in to the store and there is no one there were 2 people waiting ahead of me. One of them said the girl stepped out because something had happened outside. I was in the store waiting for about 15 minutes. She finally walks in looks at me walked by does not greet nor did she say I apologize for you waiting, I'll be right with you, absolutely nothing disregard the people standing there and took the next person in line. When it was my turn I told her I was there because I need a new Sim card and I have previously spoken to a Verizon customer service person and I was a giver take a number. She said their independence store and I can purchase one but that's a pretty much she can do for me and the. Just stood there telling what store to go to. She was very arrogant rude and sad her tone, she definitely lacked people skills. She was the only person in the store her name is Andrea.I will definitely be never stepping foot into the store again nor will I be recommending it to anyone. This store used a terrible tactic to make a sale. Johnathon told my 75 year old sister that because she was a devoted customer for the past 8years that they have a promotion for an iPad for $46.00. We asked him was that a monthly payment for the iPad, and he said no, that is the total cost for this promotion.again we said so she won't get billed for anything more than the 46 dollars, and he said no. He totally lied to us to make a sale.he then told me that I also could get one too, however he had run out, and that I would need to go to another store, that he would email my store at porter ranch, in Granada Hills, I went over after I dropped my sister off and they told me that their was no promotion for the iPads at 46 dollars. This is the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I went in on 10/31/19 to purchase an Apple Watch Series 5 they didn't have it in stock so they said they would order it for me. First mistake I receive the order confirmation from Verizon they had ordered a series 4, not the series 5. I had to call back and thought they cancelled the Series 4 and ordered the correct watch. No, I have two pending orders on my account. Ridiculous how hard is it to do your job accurately. I get the notification from UPS that the Series 5 watch had been delivered at 11:19 am on 11/1/19 and received by Linda so I walked into the store at 2:15pm to have one of the reps complain because she'd just gotten there and ask me to come back? No that's not ok. She walks away towards the back cursing which is completely unprofessional. Turns out the watch that was clearly delivered by UPS which I have confirmation of magically disappeared and they don't have it. I'm giving it the weekend for those two orders to be cleared off my account or I'll report this location for fraud/scam because that's what this is. read more

The situation was supposed to be corrected by the corporate office, I even spoke to a manager at the phone number provided and was assured that I would get my full refund back in form of an account credit. This was back in December and I was told it would take 2-3 billing cycles. I am now going on to billing cycle number 5 and still no account credit. This company is not honest and not worthy of even one star. I lost almost $400 because your sales rep lied and did not disclose true information. To see that the corporate office is not much better is not a surprise. These types of actions and poor customer service comes from the top and it is no wonder their local sales rep acts the way they do. This place is a joke. Went in for help to reconnect my device that Verizon "accidentally" disconnected was told that there was nothing they could do. Eventually they handed me an iPad to figure it out myself while they played around and laughed in the corner and did nothing. READ AND DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF RIP OFFS! I meant to leave this review a month ago but I let it go until I saw my Verizon bill this month. I came into this store to preorder the new iPhone xs. When I ordered, I asked how much I'd be paying monthly for the phone. The guy said $49.99 (or something like that), plus $13 for insurance. However, they never told me about the other fees such as tax, set up, and upgrade fees. When I picked up my new iPhone the following Friday, I called multiple times and they said my phone wasn't there yet, then I show up to the store and turns out the phones had already been delivered. Then they charged me $127.29, $107.30 for taxes, which I thought should be included with the monthly payment, and $19.99 for set up and go when I could have done it myself on the first place AND eventually ended up doing myself. The guy(Michael Vargas) kept saying "it'll only take 5 minutes", ended up taking 30. I was not only late to work but I ended up setting up my phone myself because I had to go and my phone didn't finish the set up at the store. YET, I was still charged $19.99 for set up and go. Then I saw the bill this month and I'm being charged $30 for upgrading? Are you kidding me! Why am I paying for an upgrade fee when I'm paying full price for a device?! I'm on my parents' family plan and also found out that last year when they upgraded my brother's phone they were told there was a special going on for a free tablet and all they had to pay was $40. Turns out they were basically charged for it later and there's a cancelation fee. They were never told that and now they're paying $20 monthly for the tablet when it was supposed to be "free". It was not "free" when they had to pay $40 plus $20 every month thereafter. Is this how you guys make your commission? By ripping people off? DO NOT GO HERE. They scam you into purchasing a "free bundle" that is actually very expensive and includes an extra line for a tablet and protection plan. They will not take it back without charging you a re stocking fee that is double what Verizon normally charges. When you sign, it is only a small window to sign on a tablet and they will not show you your bill until after you sign and by then it's too late. The manager Robert will not listen and is argumentative. When we came back to return the items, he walked out on us, out of the store and never came back so we left but he was apparently the only one that could assist with the return. We are complaining with Verizon corporate and better business bureau. This place is highly unethical. read more

Run away from this place. They are a third party and work on commission. They will sell you refurbished phones and make you believe they are new. They will charge you fees even if you cancel within the grace period. They will tell you lies to make a sale. Be aware. They will especially take advantage of Spanish speakers and seniors. Roberto Polanco, who is surprisingly a manager, sold me a refurbished phone when I was told it was new. Once I signed the contract, I went home and realized that I was tricked into buying a new phone when it was refurbished and signed up for a plan that was too expensive for me. I went back to Roberto and he told me to think about it longer. I finally went back few days later before my return grace period expired. I finally returned the phone. But Roberto charged me $76.09. (Keep in mind that I was still within my grace return period). I did not have a choice but to pay. Verizon stores do not charge you a penny. This store is a third party and work on a commission. Unfortunately I fell victim to this scam today. I came in to purchase a new iPhone since I was already planning on switching carriers from AT&T to Verizon. The sales associate was very nice and seemed friendly enough. Rigo is his name. After what was a long switchover process he told me that they were running a promotion and included an accessory bundle that he said he would waive. It included a tablet worth $101 but with the "rebate" it would cost me $1 When I returned with some questions I saw a young couple very upset speaking with the manager Robert about the so called "bundle" they had just purchased. How they were charged a lot more then what they thought they would be charged. The tablet that was supposed to be free ended up being an additional line that they don't tell you about. Feeling uneasy about the purchase I just made I spoke to the associate who helped me. He acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about. I asked him if I would be charged twice for my phone and now this tablet and he said I would only be charged for the data plan. However the way he spoke to me felt very dishonest. I told him I wanted to return the tablet and he said there would be a $70 restocking fee which is twice what a regular Verizon retailer charges. I did not feel comfortable with this purchase. Needless to say I will be returning everything in the morning and calling Verizon and the BBB to complain about this purchase. It sucks because they give Verizon such a bad name. Today I took said charger back because it was broken only to be told I could not have a replacement. RUN AWAY from this place!!! They sale you REFURBISHED PHONES and make you think they're new. Of course they're not going to tell you the phone is not new! There customers will run away immediately. Oscar is who helped us (I believe that was his name) about a month in a a half ago & he never informed us that the IPhone was refurbished. 2 weeks down the line I had to go back because my battery sucked! So I got the iPhone replaced by Roberto Polanco (the manager) and yet again he didn't mention that the phone he was handing to us was refurbished. About a week in a half later after I got the phone replaced we realized that the model # of the iPhone was a used (refurbished) model number. We did go back to Roberto Polanco and wasn't helpful what so ever all he did was argue back that he did tell us the phone was NEW! LIES LIES LIES. He even called the guy who originally helped us and he even said that he informed us the phone was new & again LIES LIES LIES! We are aware and conscious that they were not been honest! I am not knowledgeable of the many cell phone plans in the industry. In error, I went to the Verizon Wireless retailer LA11D Sylmar, 13756 Foothill Boulevard, Sylmar, California, 91342. As I prepared to travel outside of this country, I wanted to add money and extend the time of my prepaid plan so that the cellphone would not self-cancel the $90 on the account as I traveled outside the US. I told the personnel in the Verizon Retail Center exactly what I wanted to do, they took the money, completed a transaction -- And the cellphone went dead. I attempted to make a call. No service. "Maybe you can't get service in here," the manager told me. I walked outside, attempted a call. Dead cell phone. I returned to the counter, asked the manager what had gone wrong. Then the personnel discovered my cell phone operated on an AT&T prepaid plan. Yes, incorrect company. Incorrect retail center. Yet they had taken my money and added the money to account that did not exist. No account? I asked the personnel to cancel the transaction and reset my dead cell phone. "We didn't do anything to your cell phone." "The phone functioned before I came in here." "We don't know that." I asked the store manager his name, Jhovany, he told me. I asked for his card, he flipped a store card in my direction. That ended the transaction. The card he gave me did not have a name. The name Jhovany Garcia-Chavez appears on the Sale Invoice print-out. AT&T restored my cell phone service. And adjusted the pre-paid plan to extend far beyond my return time to the US.
