Verizon - Me and my son - Mobile Phones Near Me - Santa Clara, California

This place has horrible service! I paid through app for a new phone. Went in to pick up phone (already paid for), and they said ID. Ok showed account managers ID, log vein with personal pin and gave account number. He says I don't see account managers name. So he calls his systems IT they say he is on account to call Verizon costumer service. He calls and Verizon says he is on account and it's fine to release phone. He said that they can't release still because his manager said no..!!! Like WHAT?? Everyone is telling him it's ok but his manager not even branch owner will not release the phone we already paid for because his iPad doesn't have name. This is so ridiculous I'm beyond shocked & disappointed. I have 2 kids with me and did everything online so I didn't have to wait in store. Now here I am waiting in store for hour now and still have no phone! read more

Fawad the store manager here went well above and beyond for his services to fix an issue with my phone purchase and plan that was not even bought from his store, I just went to this location since its an sister store to the one I purchased in SF. He can easily have told me, he cant fix it and I would have to take it back from the original store I bought it from but he didnt. He was able to call customer service and be patient enough to talk for over an hour with them. He also did a very smart thing to have customer service notate everything that was discussed to ensure I dont get screwed over down the road if my trade in credits dont appear. I highly recommend to go see Fawad, he will take care of all your needs. He was so pleasant that I am willing to bring all my future business's going forward. read more

The hours posted are not accurate is the only reason I did knock off a star. I went to the store since I needed help with activating service on an unlocked phone. I came around 6:20p and the agent that was there stated that the store was closed. But he quickly asked me what I needed help with and so generously offered to help me despite having already closed up. He provided guidance as needed, and was very efficient and candid about the costs and issues. Thank you Martin for your help tonight. Other notes: Location was clean. Parking is a bit difficult to find since it is located in a busy plaza so expect a bit of a search. I can't say much to their selection since I wasn't there for that, but I did get the help I needed quickly as it was reasonably possible. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was infuriating. After chatting with Verizon's online rep, I was told to just walk into the store and everything would be handled -- they assured me notes were left on my profile. Well, I showed up, and the man with salt-and-pepper hair sitting behind the counter couldn't care less. No greeting, no interest in helping. Just looked at me and said, "They lied to you." He didn't even ask for my name or try to pull up my info. Nothing. Just sat there dismissively, making it clear he had zero intention of helping. The arrogance and laziness were unbelievable. I left frustrated and with zero progress made. Verizon seriously needs to improve their customer service -- both online and in-store. What a complete waste of my time. read more

I read the bad reviews on here about this store and think no way could it be that bad. But it was worse than expected. An effeminate lackey behind the counter was no help. Go to any other store but this one. Verizon should close down this location! read more

if it were possible to give a 0 star review, I would. Do NOT go to this Victra store if you want to be treated like a human being. If you want to be man-splained to or observe someone who struggles with English be talked to in a way that is beyond embarrassing and degrading, then go see Martin - he will do both while simultaneously not helping with your problem and telling you "it will take too long". If I can give a zero star for this place i would. I never like to give bad reviews, but they are that bad. I came in to activate my mifi and not only did then not activate anything, they charged me 2 times. Their service is horrible and they charge you without giving you service. Incompetent people! Do not go to authorize store. Make sure to go to a corporate store. THEY WILL CHARGE FOR THINGS THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO CHARGE!!! read more

There were four employees inside and none of them came to help or find out what I wanted.

I was so lucky to have met Faham/Faram (I don't remember exact spelling) because he was incredibly kind and helpful. I've been going to this location for a while and this is the BEST service I've ever received :D thank you read more

Mike and Harsh helped me a few weeks ago with reconnecting my lines. I've had the run around with customer support for months, with each rep giving me different answers. I finally went into the store and met with Mike and Harsh. they helped immediately and seemed passionate about resolving my issue. I only had an hour lunch break to try and complete everything, but sadly we couldn't. What's cool is Harsh walked over to my job and handed me his phone where he was on hold with the technical support the whole time. During that time, they were able to reconnect all my lines finally. I give 5 stars to both Mike and Harsh for taking the time out of their day to go above and beyond to help me out. They have an awesome team! read more

Get rid of the current on site manager. Unfortunately, His name escapes me short heavy want a be beard. Just an absolute idiot. I went in for 1 phone he wanted to o sell me 4 . It did not end well. This is a Victra store that is owned by franchise owners. It is sad the franchise owners are still stuck with covid refusing to accept legal forms of American money, and only wants non cash payments. It's 2024 there is no reason to restrict their employees and customers with the many ways people choose to make payments. Choice matters. I hope this place changes their minds soon and becomes more diverse with the payment options. The three stars are for the employees only. They really should empower these people instead of limiting their jobs read more

This is probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced! I needed a new SIM card because my SIM card stopped working after a software update. I couldn't receive calls or txts. I expressed my concerns to them and from my understanding I thought it was going to be a short visit since Verizon should offer a free SIM card to Verizon customers. yet it took an hour to just tell me they can't help me and that I need to call customer service to get a SIM card even though I told them I couldn't call using my phone... The employee that was helping me was calling Verizon customer service too which i thought was weird. They weren't really communicating with me what they were doing and why they were calling customer service when they could've just gone to the back and given me a new SIM card . Ridiculous, I went to another Verizon location and got a new SIM card within 10 minutes. Please avoid this location if you're coming here to troubleshoot your phone. All they'll do is waste your time and just tell you to fix your own problems read more

I ordered and paid for a phone in *full *!!! It was supposed to held for me to pick up at the Rivermark in Santa Clara. I called and spoke with a young lady who said she sold the phone to someone that wanted it before me! I pressed a little and asked why she would sell something that was already sold and paid for? Worst store in my life. Be careful of this store. there is a sales guy name Walter R. he can rip you off easily. he told me iphone 14 pro max 128gb $999.99 which is the price right now. when i checked my receipt at home this guy charged me $1110.00. not only that, he also charged me $39.99 for setup and go service smartphone. i have not even opened my phone from the box. this guy is asshole. when he recommends any plan, please be careful not to change the plan. he can rip you off from anything. Do not ever trust this store. Make sure you look at the paper or contract carefully before you sign or pay. Avoid this store. Walter and Eddie can rip you off. read more

The store is clean. However, that's the only thing nice I can say about it. Before going over to this store, please keep in mind that it is a reseller store and not an actual Verizon store. They will add little fees here and there to make their money off you. The wait is ridiculously long and your name gets lost if they don't like the reason for your visit. I received a confirmation email and had to go check after an hour to find out there is no one in line. They don't work with a sense of urgency so if they say 1 hour wait, add another 30 minutes to that time. I went in last week to purchase a phone. An agent who was not properly trained decided to help me. She was very nice, but did not reach out to her manager for when she didn't have answers to my questions. Furthermore, I had credits that I wanted applied to the purchase of my phone which she said she would check. She didn't. She missed going to the safe two times which stretched my visit even longer. I went in today to return the phone. The manager is the rudest I've met in customer service and doesn't know how to stay professional. If you can't deal with customers, you should look for another job. His little snarky unnecessary remarks are highly unprofessional. In addition, his threatening tactics for you to keep your purchase is quite harsh as well. Many companies offer a no hassle guarantee, but you definitely need to fight for your money here. Instead of offering an adjustment, he refunded the phone "claiming" I got the better deal through him. Fact of the matter is, I didn't get the phone with any kind of promo. He left my line open which I had to settle directly with Verizon later (this was never told to me, but I just wanted to check). They also charged a restocking fee, but I also settled this amount with Verizon Corporate. He told me at the end of the visit that I will not be able to open a line at this particular store again. Do yourself a favor and do business at another location. Preferably an official Verizon retailer. ***Spoke to Verizon Corporate and they will be retraining the staff at this location. And yes, I was able to get the promo through Best Buy. read more

Never do trade in with these guys. And better stay away from them in general. Everything works smooth until the moment when something goes wrong (like in my case). If the mistake happens they are not able to solve the problem. You will spend a lot of time, energy and nerves dealing with them. Year ago I did trade in of One Plus 8 and I was promised a promo 400$ in credits. I dropped the phone to the store. During the process they made a mistake in the database and it was shown that I brought not One Plus 8 (800$ phone price) but Blu VP370WW Vivo One Plus 16GB (~130$ phone price). So I didn't get anything for the phone. I noticed it just recently when checked my bill. Here the hell for me started. Multiple times I called to Verizon. They said there is nothing they can do and I have to deal with Victra. I went to the store. The representative was careless and told me to send an email, he didn't even know the address to which I have to sent my email. I did multiple calls to Victra, sent several emails. They were redirecting me between departments. Finally they told me the district manager will keep in touch with me. She called me once, I wasn't able to pick up the phone. She sent an email saying that the credits weren't applied because the phone I brought was One Plus Vivo (which is a mistake). I sent her 3 emails that it is a mistake in a database and the original phone I gave them was One Plus 8. There were no responses from her. She doesn't pick up the phone and doesn't respond to my emails. It is like a black box. The whole story continues already for a week. I spent hours in phone calls with Verizon and Victra. Hopefully I will get this problem solved in the closest future. read more

STAY AWAY. Incompetent staff. They added an iPad to my unlimited plan and screwed up. My bill for less than 2 month of unlimited service was in excess of $8400 which was taken out of my checking account. Verizon has acknowledged their mistake but it will take 2 to 3 billing cycles before they can refund my money (2 to 3 months). Victra wireless is a bunch of morons that refuse to take responsibility for their incompetent sales staff. Go to a company owned store if you want good service. read more

Ariq did a wonderful job getting me what i needed. 10/10 service, will come back for future upgrades. :)

My name is Melissa and I rarely write Yelp reviews which is why I'm on my fiancé's account :) I'm writing today about the amazing customer service from Antonio. I recently switched from an S9 to an iPhone 12 and needed to transfer my contacts, pics, etc. Antonio was very knowledgeable with both phones. I asked him several questions about different apps and calendars and he provided good tips and advice. He was also helping another colleague at the same time (over the phone) which was fine by me since he was managing 2 stores and I still felt like I was being taken care of. I will take knowledgeable and thorough over quick any day!! He also asked me a few times if there was anything else I needed. Hands down I give Antonio and the store a 5! Thanks again for the excellent service. Such a rarity these days so much appreciated!!!! read more

I recently had to purchase a new iphone and Sandra helped me make the right choice. She answered all my questions (I am not comfortable with cell phones) and spent a great deal of time helping me navigate through the technology that I dread as a senior. She was very knowledgeable, extremely patient and helped me understand the new phone and even transferred photos and set up my new email account. She also offered to help me with any future questions. I want to acknowledge her because I seldom experience customer service that is on the level of comforting and reassuring when I am shopping anywhere. She is an asset to Victra and the reason I will return for any future needs. read more

I went to this store to move off of t-mobile after years of service. At the time it was COVID-19 precautions and understood the need to distance etc. I went in and a younger lady was the only person there. I set up 5 lines of new service with my existing phones. I had to pretty much show her what to do and even entered come info myself for her. I also self replaced my own SIM cards. The data was activated but I had to port my own lines myself later because she did not do it or finish it. I also had to pay 163.45 for a "setup fee" that she said they would email a recipe for (never did). Verizon also billed me for a one time fee as well. The scam is the I. Store setup fee for really nothing. This is Not a real Verizon store but a re-seller that did not tell me this even though I asked. Do yourself a favor and go to a real Verizon store. My friends ordered two iPhone 13. from this place and was told they were on sale. They went in on 9/30 and spoke to a man named James. and was given a order summery of the order. (Sadly, no price was attached) Application number 243945640. They were giving a price of just over $600.00 each, and that the phones would be ready for pick up today 10/8/2022. I was with them when they called to see if the phones were ready. The person on the phone (A man, did not get his name) asked their name and phone number. He then put them on hold for a while. He then came back and said he was busy with another customer, and he was the only one in the store and would call them back. We were not far from the store, so my friends and I decided to just go in and wait. When we arrived 2 mins later, there was no one in the store but one worker (hmmm) The then checked their order and said he had two phone for them but there were just over $1000.00 each. When asked why they were told a lesser price when they first came in, the man said that he did not know why there were given that price and that there have been several customers coming into the store saying the same thing. (Why wasn't that a red flag on his end that maybe something there need to be investigated) He said they had to pay the higher price or no phones. So, my friends left. They will be taking their business elsewhere. Don't go here. This place is a SCAM!!!! read more

I vacillated about this review trying to stay in a more positive lane in life. I won't go into a lot of detail but I finally left AT&T after 25 years and they have superb customer service there's no doubt, my experience at Victara Verizon was the single worst customer service exchange I've ever had. What should've taken under an hour was a 5 1/2 hour ordeal having to return to the store. The first five minutes with W... (representative) I should have turned and walked away he didn't like his job, It was almost as if it was torture to be there. I won't go into all the ineptitude but I will never step foot in that place again and I may just cancel everything within a month at another store. The only redeeming factor is a female employee who is phenomenal and in the end said she expressed her regret of not being the one to service me initially. Next time I'll read YELP before I go anywhere. read more

Waited til 10:30. Other would be patrons came and left. Someone showed up at the door and said they didn't open until 11. When I asked why I had a 10:00 appt, she shrugged.
