This is a corporate store, but they still need to call customer support for anything. I called support because my grandma passed and this was were she had her cell phone from. I was directed to bring in a valid death certificate income directly to the corporate store. I was on the phone with Verizon wireless for two hours, and I come to the corporate school store and I was here for another hour waiting for the representative to get through the customer service to handle this through the phone. I have a valid certificate. There was no money out on the phone, why is this a six hour process doesn't make any sense. They're different more efficient ways that they can streamline this process. read more

Verizon is so disgusting!!! I was told by their customer service and tech support representatives to return the internet gateway to this corporate store in Gratiot only to be told that they don't accept it! Now I have to go back another day to return this shitty box to a UPS store which are all closed now! I have always been given a run around by everyone in their company! Despite all the inconvenience they've given me for over 6 months of bad internet signals they even charge me over $200 for this crappy box! read more

Well im really trying hard here on what to write for my phone store review... so here we go. So let's go back in time to 2019, my boyfriend was sick of my calls dropping and my phone never working in the middle of lake Saint Claire so he convinced me to switch networks over to Verizon. So here I am 2 years later and I still have Verizon. Now let me tell you I was quite pleased with My METRO P.O.S, I lived in Detroit, never once had any problems, went all the way up north, connection was a little fuzzy, Nothing to make me want to switch because well I had 3 different phones lol... Now here I go walking into Verizon about to sign my life away on a contract... I got 2 phones.... my payment EACH MONTH is OVER $255.00!!!!!! I work in Grosse Pointe "*(btw Grosse Pointe DONT ALLOW CELL PHONE TOWERS"*) so yes even Verizon don't work. And that's what the Verizon lady told me..... be careful because with Google pay I end up buying everything with the ease of just using my fingerprint... but in all seriousness. I'd you want the best go with Verizon. Oh and the employees are so sweet they will actually give you their real cell phone number just in case you ever need them. read more

I went in there and no appropriate greeting. A lady asked me what I was in there for and I told her I was trying to get a new phone. She didn't even pull up my account or anything. She asked if my phone was paid off that I've had for 2 years and I said not all the way. She said I wouldn't be able to get an upgrade. Now mind you didn't even say well let me take a look for you or anything. I called Verizon and they helped me get a new phone but it was very time consuming. What are you there in a store for if you're not going to help the customer. It's always the nonchalant energy in there. Like the customer is bothering them. Someone purchased a SIM card from this store, and with support from Verizon associate in the store, take unauthorized control of my phone number and Verizon identity. The fraudulent activity led to a compromised bank account, and ultimately caused me 20+ hours of work as I try to undo the damage that Verizon was complicit in supporting. I'm new to Verizon and shocked that such a transaction could be completed. I can't wait for my contract to end so I can go back to AT&T. While they're not perfect, this type of fraudulent activity would never happen. Verizon, and all of their employees, needs to take better care to ensure customer security is prioritized and protected. read more

Went in with my fiancé to switch from sprint and onto his plan with Verizon.. which involved also needing a phone since my old one was 1.sprint 2. Broken AF Zack helped us. Probably the easiest, fastest, most genuine service I've received at a phone store .. ever. I was extremely pleased after my visit because of him and how he handled our business while we were there. There was another guy there with him. Wasn't really a fan of him. He made a snarky remark about how he was "doing me a service by applying the screen protector and if it got messed up by him while applying it it would be on me" mind you, he walked up behind Zack as he was ringing us up, asked about our purchases while taking our things from the Verizon bag and then goes on to say "here let me put on the screen protector for them" i did not ask and although i appreciated it saying even if he messed up it would still be 100% better than if i were to try and do it myself was just flat out rude. I had to do a follow-up visit because the previous visit someone dropped the ball and didn't follow through. A separate issue concerning a rebate I was to receive was never resolved. It's a year later and I guess I'm out the $50. On a previous visit, I asked why, as a service provider, they didn't have free wi-fi in their store. This time, I noticed they had a couple wi-fi hotspots, but I didn't try to access them. I always receive pleasant service, and most of the time I get my issues resolved. read more

Can't say enough good things about the customer service here. After being treated so poorly at the Warren Verizon store I came to the Roseville store. They were closing but still took the extra few minutes to help me fix a feature on my phone that I couldn't get to work. I bought my last two phones from this store and have always found them to be pleasant and easy to deal with. read more

Debating even leaving a review because I already wasted so much time at this place, literally hours. But hopefully I can save a poor soul out there thinking they can actually accomplish something here. Workers were confused about plans, upgrades, online offers, etc. It came to a point where I was literally navigating myself on my phone through a phone upgrade, something I wrongly assumed was their responsibility. I have a toddler that was rearranging phone cases (this is something toddlers do to occupy themselves as their mommy is attempting to communicate with morons). And after incorrectly leading me down a rabbit hole with a sale I was not eligible to receive, the employee has the audacity to tell me that's he's going have to rearrange all the cases because of her. At that point, I left completely regretful I walked into that joke of a business. read more

Zak was extremely rude. I came into the store to get help with a data transfer to a new phone. Zak told me to call, I expressed to him that I did call and had been on hold for 3 hours. Then Zak said, you went get through to a store we haven't taken phone calls in 3 years......so I'm not sure why he just told me to call and immediately followed it up with "you will never get through...". Zak said the store is appointment only and I couldn't have an appointment today. I asked what am I supposed to do, to which zak replied "well am I going to get interrupted again" in a condescending tone. I decided to go to Apple and once again in a very condescending tone Zak said, "good luck you won't get in for a year". I have an appointment at Apple at 3:20pm today and there was an appointment every day this week. Not sure why he was so rude. I hope to never come in contact with such an evil sad person again. read more

I'll pass on this location. I have verizon and I LOVE there service. The phones are great, service is good.. but, this store is not one im going back to. Ive been in it 3-4 times and been greeted instantly which, in a store like this to me, isnt a bad thing. However it seems unless im buying something no one seems to stay interested in you AT ALL!!! I get theyre off commisson however, if people have questions you should be willing to do YOUR JOB and help them. The 1 time i went in, i had a few questions about my phone. I had his interest for maybe A minute. In the middle of asking him the question he asked a lady if he could help them.. he gave me some BS answer since he clearly didnt care and i said never mind ill go else where and he didnt say take care nothing. Ive have 2 instances at this store for the same reason. Im not BUYING they dont care! I know of 4 other VZN stores, ill continue with them. read more

Best experience. I wish I would have gotten the mans name who helped us. He actually listened to what we needed and didn't try to over sell us or push us towards stuff we didn't want. He was quick to get our upgrade info and different plan and phone options for us. He really seemed to know his products. The best part was how quick he got us out of there. We mentioned that the hubby had to head to work in an hour and he got us finished up in 45 minutes. Oh I almost forgot I said that I might want to upgrade my iPhone and he informed me that the iPhone 7 comes out in September and that if my phone is still working good I should hold out until then because it will be the same cost as the iPhone 6. So it will be a better deal to get the newest model instead of a year old model. I recommend this Verizon location and will shop there again. read more

The employees at this store are rude and incompetent. I signed up for service here 3 months ago, and they entered the account information incorrectly, including having the WRONG NAME on the account. Seriously? They copied it from my drivers license, how do you screw that up? I have been in there twice after receiving the incorrect bills to fix the situation, the last time speaking to the assistant manager, to no avail. I was told the information had been reentered, but this last bill still hasn't been corrected. I ended up calling Verizon Customer Service and finally got it straightened out. I will now go far out of my way to avoid this store. read more

Wanted to activate an iphone that was previously a Sprint Carrier. Rep told me I couldn't do it. I didn't understand why I had to throw away a perfectly good phone because I wanted to change carriers, and rep told me all major carriers have their own "phones" so you can't switch between them. Said something about a flash card and it would cost a lot of money but she didn't know how it worked. Every time I go in this store no one seems to have a clue about anything. Previous visit I needed to get replacement battery-don't sell/don't care. Always a 40 minute wait. Parking lot always crowded. Asked about plans, representative was very unsure. read more

My first negative review ever. The experience I had at this store started pretty good with the young lady I was working with. Then the manager, jumped into the conversation without introducing himself and told me the reason I wasn't getting the discount was because I hadn't signed up for it 3years previous. Up to that point fine he was a bit short and condescending but fine. When I said that I didn't remember anyone telling about the procedure for getting the discount for autopay required using my debit card versus the credit card I had set up he went off. Getting very confrontational raising his voice and getting in my face. When I said wow you must be having a bad day he responded with I was having a great day till you came in. I then asked for his name which is Kurt and who I could lodge a complaint with. He told me to dial*611 which I did from the parking lot. I spoke with the customer service person who first explained that to file a complaint Kurt should have given me the district managers number and being a manager himself he knows that. She was very apologetic and offered to contact the general manager and have him call me. It's been two weeks and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I will continue to follow up and to manager Kurt with your people skills you may want to consider a new career possibly a professional bouncer or maybe a collection agent for the IRS since you both have the same concept of Service read more
