I want to give a shout-out to Paul at the Verizon Prince Frederick store who assisted me when I had to return a phone I had purchased the day before when another representative didn't give me the phone I requested. Paul completely understood my plight and frustration and gave me the quality service I had hoped to get the day before. He was able to get the correct phone, put on a new screen saver, and transferred my apps and data for me, while charging me only for the taxes the new phone incurred. Two years ago had a very pleasant experience buying a Google Pixel 2 from a very accomplished salesman in your PF store, an African-American man whose name I unfortunately don't remember. Yesterday I went to the PF store with the idea of trading up to a Google Pixel 3a or a Google Pixel 4. This time encountered a very unpleasant salesman named Gerry. I told him I needed to try out the cameras on these phones, my principal interest. He said the 3a had been moved to a back room and wasn't available. He refused to untether the 4, citing security concerns. It was secured to the board with a 5 inch piece of wire, making it impossible to try out the camera. He suggested that I try out the camera anyway which meant I would be taking a picture of a white board from a distance of 5 inches, hardly a credible test. I gave up and said goodbye to Gerry. I will return once more and see if another salesman or woman will be more interested in selling me the cellphone. read more

Worst service ever. I just stood in the store for an hour with one person ahead of me. The gentleman at the door i assume was a manager just stood at the door while i waited for an hour. During my wait a second person who i assume was also a manager came back from break and i still stood for another 1/2 hour with no help while she played on her phone and put some cases on the rack that no one was there to buy. I assume the managers should have helped the 2 gentleman that were sales with my very simple request of a plan upgrade. I never thought going to verizon would take as long as a car purchase! I went into Verizon to talk to a customer service representative about getting on my own phone plan. Colston helped us and was very friendly. We told him we were moving and asked about any internet services Verizon provided. He told us for our home internet the Verizon jet pack would be perfect. He did not tell us we were buying a device that was under a 2 year contract or that the internet speed would significantly slow down after 10gb of use. This is a huge problem because we told him we would be using the jet pack specifically for Netflix (which he said was no problem). After 3 days of jet pack use our 10 gb was used and the internet slowed down and we came to find out after visiting another Verizon store that this was the case after the 10 gb of use and also found out we could not cancel out jet pack because we were under a contract I was never verbally told about. So now I'm stuck with something I don't want unless I buy out the contract. Sat on the phone with billing for over an hour hoping to get it resolved but ended up just being told by the prince Fredrick manager that the salesman did what he was supposed to do and there was nothing they could do to resolve the problem. In a world where great customer service is such a rarity, I have to commend this Verizon store for going above and beyond in their service. Gerry was outstanding in helping me figure out how to save my data on an old phone that was no longer functional. I went in thinking that I had lost everything, but Gerry was so professional and helpful in showing me how I could easily switch to the extra phone that I had and went step by step through every process to retrieve my data and set my new phone back up. Absolutely amazing.....no major sales pitch or attempt to convert me to a new phone upgrade. I will definitely go back to their store when our whole family of five needs to get upgrades on phones and services. Thank you! read more
