BEWARE!!! Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else with your business! And whatever you do, DO NOT LET JUAN HELP YOU. He is rude, dismissive, and couldn't be more of a condescending jackass. The guys that work here don't care about customer loyalty or even mediocre customer service. We have been loyal Verizon customers for 10 years and have never had a late payment, this visit has us ready to take our business elsewhere. Clearly Verizon doesn't care about keeping customers. The whole time we were trying to ask questions and get straight answers we were given blanket statements and told they don't care about our business or our concerns. It's no news that phone salesmen are trained scam artists, but at least most of them try make you feel like your business is appreciated; not here and certainly not Juan! read more

Their customer service folks are kind but when it comes to account issues they are useless. I preordered a Note 7. The Note7 was recalled. I got a new Note 7 - that was recalled as well. I preordred a Pixel XL on Oct 19 to replace my fire hazard Note 7 - that ended up being back ordered until 11/18. I find out this week that it is backordered again until 12/26 meanwhile Im still stuck with a fire hazard phone. I spent an hour on the phone with their corporate customer service to see if I could get a comparable loaner device. They called the Petaluma store and cleared the manager (David or Matt) to give me a comparable phone until my new phone comes in. I go into the store and they tell me that they can't do that without charging me $600 (which I will get back when I get the new phone) and canceling my previous order which would put the new ship date at January. I don't have $600 to shell out to wait a over two months for this new phone to come. Their other option is to charge me a smaller amount for an non comparable phone. It's the holidays, I use my phone to take pictures of my family and friends so no, I dont want a second rate phone with a second rate camera to capture my memories. You seem to have no problem charging me for my service and and extra $10 for my protection plan on a phone that only charges to 60%, is plastered with warning recall messages and cant access the SD card thanks to the new update - perhaps I should only have to pay 60% of my bill until this is resolved? So I left the store with my Note 7 in hand and my temper almost not in check. Verizon. I am so disappointed with you right now. I too am in corporate customer service and this is no way to treat a customer. I understand that the recall is not your fault but the way the exchange was handled is. If my phone explodes before I can complete my exchange, you know who my lawyers will be contacting. Unacceptable. read more

We had just started our vacation and of course my S4 phones storage memory is mysteriously full, my contacts and pics are all wiped. In spite of the attempts by the Verizon phone support, they couldn't figure out why. We found this store on a Google search and prayed that they would be able to solve the problem and restore my phone. Efrain helped me and discovered my SD card was corrupt in addition to an unknown 5 gig file that my phone couldn't sync. In this techno age we rely completely on our phones and when they don't work, it's a pretty helpless feeling. A big thanks goes to Efrain who saved me and my phone from a breakdown!! read more

This store is always a disappointment. I'm a very patient person and I always wait way too long here. I also feel like the employees in general are not as well informed as they should be and don't take responsibility for their mistakes. We all mess up but blaming the customer is really inappropriate and lacks tact. I always hate leaving negative reviews but this is the third time I've given this location a chance and the third time I've left feeling irritated and like I just lost another hour and a half of my life. read more

My daughter and I just left the store on Kenilworth Drive in Petaluma. I needed help with several items regarding my bill, my upgrade and some accessories that I purchased. Nick helped me and he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I appreciate the service he provided, it was quick and stress free. read more

Actually, MUCH better than 5-stars. I had an issue with my device which the bad guys at the Novato (corporate) store refused to properly handle. I figured I was screwed but, since I've never had issues with this Verizon store (found out last week this one's a privately owned location) I decided to drive the extra 17 miles to see if they could help me, which these guys did! This isn't a review indicating that I received a great bargain (read: "they 'bought' me), but rather a call out to all Yelpers to have complete confidence that this Verizon store is honest and extremely pleasant. I ended up buying another device, buy they ended up earning my respect and all my future business. Finally, check out my review of the Novato (corporate) Verizon store to better understand the difference between this store and the 'other' (corporate) guys. BTW, I have no idea how this Verizon store was listed with the "$$$" meaning it's expensive. It's Verizon, it costs what it costs. But, these guys, will save you a ton of headaches. I'm coming back again, and again--just like today. Cheers. read more

Verizon - You'll love these guys! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Petaluma, California

Santa Rosa residents: Skip your store and go to Petaluma! The drive is worth it. You can drive to Petaluma and back in the time it will take for you to get to the head of the waiting line in Santa Rosa. Service is much faster, much friendlier! Unfortunately, you will still have the feeling that all the salespeople work for sales commissions but the Petaluma location salespeople behave much more like human beings. read more

DENNY, the General Manger at the Verizon store in Petaluma was the WORST encounter that I have ever had with customer service. He raised his voice and started to yell at us in the middle of the store in front of all the other customers after we spent close to $500 to upgrade my phone after my 2 year contract. He accused us being rude, agrressive and out of line. We were seated at the counter the whole time and no one raised their voice except for the general manager. He went on and on about how great he is a as a manager and that he always gets the best reviews from customers as his voice is still yelling at us with his arm flailing around. We sat and listed to him of how he said that it's been a rough day for him and the employee that was helping us was new . She offered us false plans and a lot of false information. We left downgrading our plan and humiliated by how we were publicly yelled at by your management team. The girl JANINA who was helping us, was not helpful at all. Every question we asked, she would go back to her manager and ask him and come back 10 minutes later to tell us something different than what she explained before. We were in the store for over 2 hours being yelled at by your General Manager Denny. After I explained to Denny that unless he lowers his voice, then we will walk out. He knelt down and then lowered his voice and profusely apologized for "losing his cool" with us. He said he was very sorry and that it's been a hard day for him. Regardless of him having a bad day or not, there was no reason for him to ever yell as us as customer. We will never return back to the that store and I suggest you do the same!!! read more

This was by far the best phone upgrade ever. The young lady that helped me was efficient, and had me out of there in under 30 minutes with the phone, and all accessories intact! I knew what I was looking for so that helped, but this was far better than the attempt to order the phone online which was a fiasco. I had tried to order online for 'in store pick up', but it did not go well... I finally just had to get them to cancel the online order so I could go into the store and get it directly. I always appreciate the phone tips these folks have that get you going on the phone. Thanks to the nice guy that helped as well and to Verizon on Kenilworth! Will keep going there for support. read more

I know this has been said a lot, but if I could give negative stars I would. I purchased a Pixel XL by Google phone from an indirect dealer (where I actually work) we didn't have any cases or screen guards so I unfortunately had to go to the corporate store. Although there wasn't a line to wait in, I still had to wait to be acknowledged by an employee. I got my case and screen guard, and as I was checking out, the associate, Michael, asked where I purchased my phone and where I worked. I told him I got it through my work. He proceeded to then ask me why I didn't get a "real job" and proceeded to insult the store I work for. Unfortunately, this doesn't end here. I had to do a warranty replacement for my phone and had to, begrudgingly, go back to the corporate store to have them swap out my screen protector since I didn't want to pay another $40 for one. When I walked in, I was actually approached by someone, the Manager named Christopher, asked me what I was in for; then walked away while I was in the middle of talking. I was attempting to tell him that not only did Verizon mess up my warranty order (didn't order it in the first place forcing me to call them again a week later) but that I was there to have my screen guard swapped out. He then sent the associate Michael over, after asking my phone number information and recognizing my name he then refers to me as "Indirect" for the remainder of our transaction. He also asks me again when I'm going to get a real job, and work for a real company, he also felt it necessary to speak poorly of the store I work for (again), and therefore about myself since I work there. Yes, I work for an indirect store, but I am also a Verizon customer and have been for years. This store is known for being rude to customers, as I've heard through my own customers at my store; I didn't fully believe it until I was a customer of that store myself. I still can't believe how I was treated, just because of where I work, but the worst (or perhaps the best) part of this whole interaction is that this "big bad Verizon employee" put my screen protector on upside down. read more

Such scumbags I've been with Verizon since 1993 and they're constantly trying to get us into something else that doesn't match your profile so I said you are a piece of crap also going to you keep this up I look forward to the next best carrier and I'm talking about Verizon corporate and local stores here in the North Bay Area read more

Great experience! We went in for an upgrade and worked with Deisy - she was knowledgable, friendly and efficient. She made sure we received all applicable discounts and helped us choose our accessories. We like the look of the store as well; very clean and modern. Thank you! read more

I have never had such terrible customer service in my life from a store manager. He certainly does not belong in a customer service environment. He is gruff, rude and arrogant and because of him I will never step foot in that store on Kenilworth Drive again. One sales girl there is good. and that is about all I can praise about that store. read more

I am writing this review particularly to highlight the great service I received from one "Experience Specialist". I have recently bought an I Phone and quickly became totally overwhelmed about how to use it. I attended the class the store held for new owners and that is when I met Adele. I am not saying she is the only Yelpworthy employee at that store but I was very impressed with her ability to explain, assist and make me feel comfortable about this complicated (for a senior citizen) device. I went back to the store with more questions and willingly waited for her half an hour while she was helping another customer. (She is that good). She may or may not be the most knowledgeable one in the store but I found her to be the best to explain and teach you what she knows. Now that is a skill! read more

My girlfriend and I want to sing the praises of the Petaluma CA Verizon clerk named Beca. We came into the store intending to upgrade to the iPhone 6s. Thanks to Beca, we left with the 6s AND an iPad Air. She was a terrific clerk. She was unassuming, approachable, knowledgeable, pleasant without being smarmy...a real person who laid out the finances of the situation and made us spend more than we intended while making us feel like we got a good deal. While she got my new devices up and running, the three of us shared a pleasant conversation about school, work, and our pets. I also saw a friendly interaction between her and her manager, which also added to the good feeling in the store. It was the most pleasant shopping experience I've had in recent memory. read more
