I went in to get my phone upgraded and the representative that helped me was Jarrod, he was very helpful and he went above and beyond my expectations to help me get the best deal possible and for the best price out of pocket and he made sure that my subscription to the max channel went through before I left the store. The Verizon store misrepresented the cost of a product in order to sell it and then lied about it in order to avoid reimbursing me. I purchased the HUM on a road trip with the salesperson's assurance that I would be reimbursed for all costs associated with it if I didn't like it. As I read through the contract, I pointed out that it said there was a "restocking fee" of $35.00 if I returned it. She emphatically said that this did not apply to HUM, if returned within 3 days. I told her that if I returned it, it would be in a different state and she said all stores have the same policy, no restocking fee on this product. When I returned it in another state within the 3 days, they did, in fact charge the restocking fee of $35 and stated that the Pendleton salesperson was wrong. I called Verizon who called Verizon Wireless - Cellular Plus in Pendleton. In a three-way call, the Verizon Wireless - Cellular Plus salesperson reiterated the claim that there should be no restocking fee and that the store in Wyoming where it was returned, made a mistake. She said I needed to get the refund from the Wyoming store. At this point the Verizon representative, still on the phone, researched the policy and found that there is in fact a restocking fee and the Pendleton store had made a mistake saying that there wasn't. At this point, the salesperson said that she had never said that there was no restocking fee and refused to provide a refund. When I pointed out that she had, in the current phone conversation, had contradicted herself, she just kept saying that she never said there was not the fee. I should say that the salesperson had received confirmation from her supervisor about there being no restocking fee when she sold me the package and while I was trying to get a refund. Both are responsible for the mistake and both responsible for the lie to avoid the refund. Very bad business practice and considering that one enters in a contract with Verizon through these small contractors, trust is everything. This company is not trustworthy. read more

I am still in the process of switching out the information on my phone. I must say that Austin is an excellent sales person and technician and a pleasure to work with. Wait times can be long but that is because you get their full attention when it is your turn and are not rushed. Also had another tech help me but did not get her name. She was also excellent. We waited over an hour while two employees spent the entire time with a customer each. We were never acknowledged. 4 others came and left. We only had a question. While helping their customers, the two employees had time to discuss hunting, fishing, personal info etc. I have never been so frustrated. If you need help go to the next town.
