I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Verizon today. I called with a simple question about an outage, and the first representative kept repeating that he was "just coming on shift" and offered absolutely no help beyond that. Then he hung up on me. I called back twice and no one answered. When I called from another number, someone picked up on the first ring. Instead of listening to my issue, he was more concerned about whether I would give him a good review. When I said I wouldn't, he immediately passed me off to a "supervisor." The supervisor was just as unprofessional as the first two. He had me on speaker, sounded completely uninterested, and acted like helping me was an inconvenience. For a company I trusted enough to bring five lines over -- especially after leaving another carrier for poor service -- this was extremely disappointing. Verizon should take customer service seriously, especially during outages when customers need clear communication and support. Today, they failed at every step. read more

Went to the store and Adrian waited on my friend. My friend shared her concerns. Adrian kept mentioning issues not relevant to the issue. He seem to be fixated on his point. I told him we heard him and why don't we tackle each issue one at a time. Adrian then said calm down, in the same voice I told him "I am calm, and I would record the conversation in case he tries to misrepresent the conversation." Adrian said "I can just have the police officer escort you out!" My response to him was " sir you can do whatever you like." He seemed to calm himself and address my friends issues. Went in for a new iphone for my mom, we wanted to hear all the offers she qualified for, Mr Alan didn't show empathy or seemed interested in helping my mom with her purchase, I was there as my mother's translator, turns out Mr Alan spoke Spanish also, same awkward and very detached interactions in both English and Spanish. He claimed they didn't have phones in store other than iPhones 15, anything under had to be shipped to us, we were ok with that, he took a trip to the back of the store, it turns out they had it, even the color my mom wanted, I can only assume they get a commission based on what they sell. Mr Alan wasn't helpful and did the very minimum to get his job done with his zero communication skills. Had very decent experiences in the past at this location. read more

The worst service I've found. I bought my phone a week before and it doesn't turn on. I talked to customer service. They told me that I have a 30-day warranty with Verizon and one year with apple but that they were going to use Verizon's warranty and they sent me to this store where they didn't even want to enter my account where they had left notes explaining the problem bitter people, terrible service. Do not send elderly parents or those that struggle with tech here. This place operates like a shady car dealership and you could easily be scammed if you don't know any better (read the other reviews if you need more proof). I went in to purchase phones that were not available at another store. When the taxes weren't adding up with what I was expecting they lied and said taxes are different based on store location... what? It's 8.25 percent in Houston and Pearland. You'd think a store manager of all people would know that. Then the sales guy tried to secretly slip in more expensive phones than the ones I wanted. This happened 3 times. He only fixed it after I pointed out the higher taxes. Be aware that they'll try to upsell you without notifying you saying "the phones aren't sorted correctly in the back"... lol okay... any good salesman would check that he scanned in the right one BEFORE asking the customer to pay but whatever. Thought it was cute that he never "accidentally" scanned in a cheaper phone. Ironically I would've upgraded all of our phones to the more expensive and available models had he not been so shady about it. When I pointed out that the math wasn't adding up, so I was just going to order online I was told the phones wouldn't be available until January or February then. At this point I was too tired to point out that there's stock all over Houston and online. Weird sales tactic...if you're gonna lie, at least make it somewhat believable. Not sure if they treated me this way because I'm a young girl or maybe they just treat everyone like they're dumb. I highly suggest dealing with Verizon over the phone instead. Went in for a brand new phone (iPhone 14 plus) as soon as I went in to get the phone I had ordered I start transferring my data from my old phone to new.. The phone started over heating but I thought nothing of it because there was a lot of data... a week went by phone started powering off on its own and overheating so I brung it back in store and was told there's nothing they could do about it.. went to a phone repair place and they said that the phones battery was bad... read more

Worst customer service ever! Was completely blown off the 1st time I came it with an issue and the 2nd time they pretended to write a note about why I was there, but when I contacted the main customer service to address the ongoing issue the person at the store hadn't put in any information. I dealt with the manager on both occasions. Will definitely make a longer drive to a different store in the future. read more

First of all, I ordered a new line over the phone over 3 hours ago. The representative told me that this particular store closes at 7 pm on Sunday. For the past few Sunday's I've visited, the store decided to change the hours to close at 4. Oh wait, reason for changing hours is because of Covid. Really! When I told the representative over the phone about the hours, they said unless there were weather issues or the possibility of short staff, then they could close early. I just went today, and sure enough, closed at 4 with 6 people inside the store. This is ridiculous. Verizon needs to be consistent. The people at this store are extremely rude and unprofessional. I have already complained at the corporate office. This is by far ridiculous! read more

On Friday, 1/6/17 I went to this Verizon location however I was skeptical about going because of the recent reviews. I was immediately greeted by Polly I explained the reason for coming, I was switching carriers and brought my phone in to do the transfer. My husband, son, & daughter all came to this location. Polly told me the Solution Specialist who would take care of what I needed would be Al. Al provided over and above OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! And I know what EXCEPTIONAL service looks like because I've been in Healthcare sales for 17yrs. The Verizon Team of Polly, Al, CJ & Bell of whom I had the pleasure of meeting while there were all on point!! We all have Bad Days from time to time, however yesterday WASN'T one of those times! I have visited this location several times and their customer service is always on point! I drive all the way to this store because their service is the best! I went in was greeted at the door had it opened for me entering and exiting! I walked right in they had what I wanted and it only took a few minutes! This should be an example store for other Verizon stores! read more

Great customer service from CJ, came in very close to closing time but not only was everyone extremely patient, they took time to make sure everything was done correctly and that none of our data was lost. We were switching our service from sprint to Verizon and this experience solidified that we made the right decision. read more

Worst customer experience I have ever had. I have had to exchange my phone 4 times in the last month due to issues with the phones. They were all under warranty so it was more of a hassle than anything. Today my phone died again,and since I am only 25 days from an upgrade I asked if I could get an early upgrade and just buy a new phone. The woman that was helping me told me I had to call the customer service line to get that done. I called customer service from the store and was told that they could move up my upgrade and mail me a new phone or that the Store Manager could upgrade at his discretion. When I asked the branch manager he said he would not do it. He told me I could either buy a phone at full price,or I could use an upgrade that I have on my other line. When I told him that the customer service rep was willing to do it,he still refused to help me. I asked him repeatedly why he was refusing to use this option,he told me that he wasnt refusing to help me, I was refusing to do it the way he wanted me to. I asked him repeatedly why was refusing to do the same thing that their customer service dept was willing to do and all he would say was that he wasnt refusing,and that I needed to do it his way. Eventually I left,called the customer service line and they got my new phone ordered. The whole time I was talking to the manager the customer service rep was still on the phone listening. She said their was no reason for him acting the way he did,and that he would be reprimanded. The managers name was Mark. I will stay with Verizon but I will never set foot in this location again. read more

I've come to this location several times over the past few years. It's been mostly ok in spite of the long waits. I was just there yesterday however and had a negative experience trying to make a change in my account. A female rep behind the counter failed to acknowledge my presence as she worked on her tablet, until I finally called her attention to let her know I had been standing in front of her. She kept playing with her tablet as she answered my questions. She also gave me the wrong information about my ability to close a line and move a number to another line, which she insisted was not possible, and did not check the end of contract dates in all of my lines. At the end I was not sure she was done helping me because of her lack of eye contact, so she finally looked up from her tablet, looking annoyed, and asked me if I needed anything else. I knew I had moved numbers before, so I later called customer service and confirmed it was indeed possible. Helping customers is obviously not the priority of this rude rep, but giving out the wrong information --and insisting that it is right-- is unacceptable. read more

Horrible customer service. The sales people must work on commission. We went in to change numbers over to a new phone, when the salesman, Cecil, seen we were not there for a purchase, he tried to push us off on someone else so he "could go help a customer". I guess we were not a customer, since we were not buying a new phone??? The first guy didn't go for it, so Cecil just walked away from us, leaving Verizon customer service on the phone, and my daughter and I standing at the counter. About 15 minutes later, a different salesman, JT, came to finish our transaction. We had to tell him that Cecil left someone hanging on the phone, as well as left us standing at the counter and just walked away. JT got the transfer to go through and was very nice and much more professional and knowledgeable than Cecil was. The whole process that should have taken 5 minutes took over an hour. Thank you JT, you are the only reason this location gets one star, Cecil needs customer service skills and training and gets zero stars. read more

When I first walked in to this location I was greeted by a heavy black guy who asked if I had any questions. I answered him with no I just want to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 5. He than told me to look around and someone will be with me shortly. Fair enough he wasn't really doing anything that I could see that was helping anyone but so be it. After about a five min. wake the same man approach me and was asking the details of my account I was told that if I would to upgrade I would lose my unlimited data. My question to this was there anything else that I could do and in response very childish he drop his hands to his side and said, "buy the phone full retail price" in a very rude tone. At this point I was getting upset because the attitude was uncalled for. I asked if there was anyone else that could help us and he said yes I then told him to hurry up. He than told his co-worker I said hurry up doggie. When I visit a place of retail I expect to people to greet me in a very professional, welcoming and gay way. Long story short working with Kevin Banfort was the worst experience I had with verizon I will be switching to Sprit. read more
