I called the store where I purchased the accessories and they acknowledged the special promotion and transferred me to Verizon customer service who again has no documentation for the credit. I called Verzion for the 3rd time and was placed on hold while they checked for 10 minutes and they eventually hung up on me! read more

I upgraded my Apple Watch from the verizon app and choose for a pickup option at Ontario mills verizon store. I've been a Verizon customer for at least 20 years and never had this experience. . I didn't think i would have a problem until I got to the store on 7.4.23 about 12-1pm. Guy named larry ask how he could help. I told him i was in to pick up Apple Watch ultra that I ordered from Verizon. Firs t thing he says."honestly I don't trust or recommend the website" I don't have watch's that are free for pick up. I have watches that are pre ordered. I replied that's what I did, I preordered. He says let me go see. He didn't ask for my phone number or order number or name. I offered to give him my phone number to look to see if he had my watch and he didn't take it. He says he has to go check the "vault" but it was unlikely he had my watch. He returned and said no, I replied you didn't even ask for my name or number. He says all he could do is cancel my order and redo it and it would arrive in 2 days. Meaning I would have to return in 2 days. I didn't have the time for that, that's why I choose to pick up when I placed the order. I would have never gone to this store had I know it is a 3rd party retailer, not a real Verizon store. Classic shady sales people who lie for commission. The sales guy told us my husband qualified for a free phone, no changes to our plan and all we had to pay was for the phone taxes and the activation fee. Not only did they charge a service fee for setting up the phone, which they never did, and the phone was not free, a fee for the device has been added to our monthly payment as well until the phone is paid off, they never gave me a receipt for the purchase and they over sold us the phone for almost $200 more than the retail price. They also got me in a contract with Verizon for 3 years. I have tried calling their store but of course no one ever answers and their customer service email is a joke, they never replied back to any of my emails, they are probably too busy scamming customers. The reason for my 3 star is because of how incredibly uncomfortable the temperature was in the store . It was way too warm and being in there for an hour maybe longer i was sweating just standing there , they explained that their air conditioning has yet to be worked on and needs to be fixed. I don't remember the supervisor I spoke with when i went back in to the store but took all my information and said he was going to send it up to hire management to get my credit, but that it was going to take another 2-3 billing cycles. It is now May and nothing again. I have called Victra Corporate and filed a complaint and was suppose to receive a call within 48-72 hrs. NOTHING AGAIN!!!! I would have rated this as 0 if I could but 1 is the minimum. I stepped into this store to do a phone upgrade. I was being sold on a care package which the sales rep intentionally made it sound like I had to buy it. My sister asked if the $100 was a service fee for the store and he said yes. After repeatedly asking to explain what the $100 fee was, he finally explained this was optional. I did not get the plan but what got frustrating is that the rep was very knowledgeable when it came to sell me services but when I asked for details, he suddenly became speech impaired. Not to make fun of the Disease but this person was extremely frustrating. Long story, I finalize the paperwork, get home and noticed 2 things: 1. Phone protection plan added to my line without my consent. I'm hoping this is ilegal but I'll have to do more research. 2. My Verizon plan was changed from an older plan which basically gave me the same benefits of the Verizon beyondUnlimited but cheaper, to a worse plan (now called Verizon goUnlimited). Luckily I was able to remove both of these free of charge by calling Verizon's main customer service line. My first advise is to not use this store, buy them at Best Buy or apple, or another authorized dealer that has more profesional reps. This is the first time in my life I've had issue after buying a phone. The worst part is that I was probably the easiest sell of the day, I knew the phone I wanted and my paperwork would have taken a very short time(which it did once he gave up Trying to sell me stuff I didn't want) If you have to use this store (again I don't recommend it) make sure you don't agree anything you're not familiar with.
