I DON'T LIKE BEING LIED TO! On June 7th, Sawyer (a manager at the North Kingstown store) told me he would give a $100 credit to my account. Joshua/Jacob (not sure of his name-I don't know why his name isn't on any of my paperwork) was there and he said he emailed him to remind him. I went back on June 19, Sawyer wasn't there, but I reminded Joshua/Jacob again and he said he will email him AGAIN! IT's JUNE 27 AND NO CREDIT HAS APPEARED! I did have to wait for over an hour for my appointment. I had an appointment at 1 and I wasn't helped until 2. But the service I received was great. Salesman, a tubby, short dark haired young man, blatantly lied to me about the phone he 'gave me as a goodwill gift' was 'free.' Turns out I'm being charged $2.22 a month for 36 months on my bill. He promised me also a fifty dollar gift credit toward my next bill and never got it. He also said he'd email me the receipt for that day's transaction....never got it. He took my credit card and charged me $47.59 for my monthly bill...which is exactly $2.22 more per month which is exactly the price of the 'free' phone upgrade he gave me....a cheap basic TCL flip 3 with no voice mail capability which I am being charged for 36 months which comes out to the retail price of the phone of $79,00, They are liars and frauds. I have filed a consumer complaint as a senior citizen to the RI Atty General's office. read more

This store wasn't helpful at all. I came in because my iPhone was hacked. The guy who was helping me took my info to the manager in back of the store . He came back and gave me a phone number to call Really . My phone doesn't work with no home phone.. So because of this I also got my bank account hacked. All because they could make an effort to help me. I have reported this store to Verizon corp headquarters. read more

Avoid this store. Employees appear more interested in each other than customers. Everything they do seems to involve disappearing into the back room and avoiding customers. The district manager must be more impressed with his title than with store operations. Below is an example of inept store management with 2-3 employees working with one customer who has been here at least 55 minutes. 12people waiting at least 50 minutes thus far. As soon as they finish with a customer they disappear into the back room. Several times all were in a back room with a store full of customers. So much for security and shrink. I wish there was a way to leave less than one star. I will review other carriers who might still place a premium on customer service. read more

Went to this store and the GM - who wanted me to know he just got promoted, absolutely ruined my account. Made me wait over 1.5 hours and noone was even in the store. He had no idea what he was doing and added things to my account that were not purchased. Do not recommend this store or the "GM' by any means. read more

I prefer to pay my bill at the store (call me old fashion) and I have to say they really are a great team there, always helpful and attentative. I think it's the nature of the beast with any new technology that it can be trying the older you get and they never let me down. I always tell my friends how helpful they are. read more

Today I went in to get a new phone, pretty much anxious because I'm 75 and not that great with technology. A young woman named Marisa helped me and she was wonderful. Together we figured out which phone, case, etc. would be best, and I went home happy with everything, and understanding the ways my new IPhone 12 would be different from my old 6S. I have been to this store twice in the last week for two separate accounts. Customer service rep Tre went over and above helping us get a phone added to our account and then reviewing our account to help save us money with unneeded add-ons in reviewing it to make sure we had exactly what we needed. My second trip was for a business account that even though they couldn't access because it was a government account they got on the phone with government solutions and did everything they could to help. The general manager was knowledgeable, polite, and did everything he could to help. Friendly service from knowledgeable employees: thank you. When I bought the phone at the store, I requested that the phone be sent to a UPS store location rather than my home address because I knew I would be at work when they tried to deliver it. They said NO, you have to get it delivered to your house. After UPS left numerous notes on my door, I called UPS and requested that the thing be sent to a store instead. They told me that I couldn't make that request and that Verizon would have to make that request....sooooo I called Verizon customer service and surprise surprise the guy couldn't find my order and he said he would "open a ticket" and get back to me. I never heard from that guy again. Another week goes by and I call Verizon AGAIN. This time a different customer service rep said that he saw my order in the system and he's re-routing it to be delivered to a UPS store location instead, but it would take 8-10 business days. I still haven't received it yet and now I just got my first bill due 12/22. I just tried calling Verizon again to tell them I'm not paying for this. We got disconnected. I immediately received a text telling me they'll call me back "momentarily". That was at 7:33pm and it's now 8:05pm. Still nothing. I'm done for tonight but I'm not paying this bill without the phone in my hand. I'm about ready to cancel my whole account. read more

By far the worst managed Verizon store in RI. Not enough staff keading to extremely long wait times... 1.5 hours the last tume i was in there. Needed help activating a new phone but forced to wait behind sales customers... never again... walked out. Goto the Warwick store its managed far better and more efficient they dont have staff standing around doing nothing. read more

My wife and I have been sitting here waiting for a half hour to get her phone activated. We are the only 2 customers in the store. We currently count 8 employees standing around joking. Apparently, none of them can help us, and we need to wait for the 9th mystery employee to emerge from the back room. This is ridiculous. read more

Do not waist your time going here. This store used to be very helpful with making changes to your plan and understanding the bill. Now they tell you to look on the Verizon Wireless website or call if you have a problem. I went in to see why I was being enrolled in some new services and making sure that I wouldn't get charged monthly for them. The associate told me "do not worry about it. I can't believe the 2 previous reviews. Sabrina Nardone and Sean Bisonette were WONDERFUL!!! They did their utmost to help us "seniors" understand all the ins and outs of various phones and costs. They were so helpful. We used to go to the Warwick store, but found that staff pushing for sales, not very giving of their time in explanations and instructions. Sabrina and Sean made us feel as we were the only customers in the store. 5* for these 2 Verizon employees. read more

I've been in this store 10 times or more over the past 3 years. On average, their service level and speed of response is very good. I've had a few long waits, but sometimes the process of getting a phone up and running is a time consuming process, no way around it. I've always been treated nicely and with respect. I've also found the technical competency of the staff to be very good. read more
