I had spent the better part of 2.5 hours on the phone with Verizon Tech support and they had made things far worse for me before refusing to help anymore. They suggested I go to the local retail store and after verifying that the retail store should be able to help, saving me a trip to Concord or Portland for the corporate store, I went. Today I took my daughter to Verizon to add her to my plan and sadly Mike was not there, Ryan helped, we thought everything was all set and my daughter ended up having to go back three times because her phone was not working correctly. The day before Mike had helped us resolve the problem with her dad's phone, which was doing the same thing, and Ryan was quite rude to her and unfortunately Jillian wasn't around when she went back. from now on, I'll only be dealing with Mike and Jillian. read more

This review is for Jillian. It had been quite some time since I had visited this location. The re-design is trash! You can't pick up or test the phone because they are tied to the wall. There is no info about each phone and you have to wait as the screen on the phone changes to learn about the specs. The whole reason I went in was to feel and test of the cameras on the phone. Jillian was very sympathetic and helped me out. She told me about the different features and unlocked the 2 phones I was deciding between. She was absolutely stellar and gave me great tips! She gets 5 stars time a billion. The store however, needs help. I what the point of having a physical store if you can't touch the product. Ridiculous!!! Store gets 1 star. read more

Visited the Verizon store in North Conway, NH with phone issues in Nov 2021. We had a notice from Verizon that our data allowance was used up, but we still had 18 days left in the billing cycle. Our phone service had been slowed down because of the data allowance issue. Our phone service was not working well, so we stopped by Verizon concerning a resolution. We were told by Ryan at Verizon, that nothing was wrong, but that our situation was due to WiFi being inadequate in the area. We returned home to North Carolina, and visited the Smithfield Verizon location. We were told that, since we were out of data, that this was our problem. Our overall phone service suffered due to the data issue. We were offered an enhanced data plan, and also ended up buying two iPhone 13's. We were offered nothing at North Conway. We really never understood why there was not an offer of plan offering increased data. We are both over 60, and, this could have been the issue with being offered a more data filled plan. This visit in North Conway was frustrating, and a waste of our vacation time. read more

This company really is a piece of trash and needs to get their stuff together. In the three years I've had Verizon I've had more issues with them and this particular location. Then I had with my previous carrier in 10 years. Last night I was on a live chat with someone for 5 hours. Trying to fix an audio issue. Running me through troubleshooting and trying to fix it. We came to the conclusion that they'd have to send me a replacement phone. Unfortunately they said they can't send to a P.O. Box and i could go to my nearest Verizon store. they specifically gave me the address and phone number for this location. I don't have a car. So today, I wasted money on a cab to get to this location just for them to tell me "we don't do replacement phones like that here. We don't have the extras in our stock. But what we can do is if you pay off half of the phone now you can do an early upgrade to a new phone". So like completely just shut me down and say that whoever told me that was wrong. And then you try to pitch me on spending more money and getting a new phone??? Like what kind of bs is that? I made sure I asked MULTIPLE times during the live chat that all I had to do was go to this location either today or Friday, and they could set me up with a replacement. And multiple people on the live chat confirmed I could. I swear this company is horrible and if I could switch I would no hesitation. So not only did I waste money on a cab. But my issue is still not fixed. And now I have no idea how I'm going to get a replacement phone. read more

Verizon store in North Conway is the site of the least customer friendly shopping experience of any store I have ever visited. I cringe everytime I have to go in there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but the policies behind them suck. Today (the sixth time I have been in the store) I had to give out personal information just to purchase two charging cords for my wife's phone. Me: "I just want to pay and leave" V: "No we can't do that policy says that we need to create a file on you" Me: "Just to purchase two charging cords" V: "Yes, that's the policy" two cords = almost $50 online -= $6 free shipping. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to make another trip back to return the overpriced cords. read more

Gotta say, two members of our family--including myself--have been VERY HAPPY with the service we received in recently upgrading phones. In my case, Brandon was totally on target with his info, and engaged in interesting chat about tech while we waited out certain parts of the data transfer. I note that the three previous negative reviews were posted some time ago, so either a) management read the reviews and improved customer service or b) there are new service personnel who are way better than the service described as unsatisfactory. We have two more family members who will be upgrading in coming months, and we will happily go to our local, nearby Verizon store! read more

I am giving one star because of the passive aggressive behavior of the woman with long dark hair who was standing behind the greeter station on October 14. She did not look up for the two minutes I stood there (no other customers), Pretending I was not there. I will say that the longtime male employee who waited on me was awesome as always. Go to Staples whenever you can to avoid this location. read more

This is by far the best Verizon or cell phone dealer I have ever worked with and I have been with Verizon in excess of 30 years. Jill, the manager, is the best. Can't tell how you how often I go in with a problem with my phone and she straightens it out for me no problem. Jim is one of the sales reps and he is always there to help if Jill is out. Steve has been there for ever and is a very good. Can't say enough about them, give them a try. read more

Very knowledgeable about thier products. The store is very busy, and they do the best they can to accommodate each customer. Staff is very friendly.
