I was in there yesterday due to my phone locking me out while I was asleep with a pattern. Since I never used a pattern only pin & fingerprint I couldn't get in and it was telling me after ---- attempts it would factory reset which is what Verizon told me by phone and at the Daingerfield TX office as well. The manager at the Mt Pleasant was very nice and tried to help (while trying to sell me stuff naturally) but she told me the same thing about there is nothing that can be done besides a factory reset!! Well NOBODY wants to do that, so when I got home I got on the Samsung site and went to https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/login?result=true I signed into my Samsung account and then got this https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/ it looks at first like your trying to locate your device but when you get logged in you get the option to lock, unlock, locate phone, etc... So if you find yourself locked out of your phone DO NOT DO or let anyone else do a FACTORY RESET!! read more

I just went to the Verizon store on Jefferson in Mt Pleasant. There is a representative there by the name of Marisol (don't know her last name) who went above and beyond, proving she is certainly an asset to the Verizon family. In lieu of having me go home and do quite a bit of unfamiliar steps to transfer my phone among other things, and quite honestly things that in all probability was not in her job description, she did them for me as they were not too busy. She was courteous and knowledgeable, quick and efficient and made the experience very pleasant. If she is who represents Verizon and is the "face" of Verizon, the company has come a long way. A company is as good as the people they employ...as that's the case i will stay w/them all the way! read more

Typically I would not give this place a bad review or a one star out of five but the treatment I received today warrants it. I had two reps helping me, Justin who I will say was actually extremely friendly and a great customer rep there, and the other person was Melissa who was extremely rude to me to the point that I had asked for a manager. After arguing with me for two minutes she finally along with Justin went to get the manager, of course they spent probably a good 10 minutes back there discussing what had happen before the manager came out. The manager was very friendly and tried to explain to me what Melissa was trying to tell me and then I tried to tell her what I was trying to explain to Melissa. Melissa wanted to place blame for a billing issue on another Verizon store which I knew was not true. I explained to the manager had she just let me explain and show her we wouldn't had to call the manager out. I told her I tolerated her behavior as long as I could and finally asked her to get the manager since she would not let me explain. The manager listened and figured out the billing issue was from the mobile request to add additional coverage to my bill but they failed to mention they were changing (back dating) my plan which then caused additional charges. I excepted the information and told her that she should tell Melissa to listen next time and maybe she would have come to same conclusion. read more

This Mt. Pleasant, Tx store which is the company store is of no help whatsoever. They either don't know what they are doing or they lie that they can't do anything including the manager. They are of no help whatsoever. They said the only thing they do is sell phones. They can't even do that. It hasn't been long since they wouldn't even do that. Perfect credit, but they wouldn't even accept cash for a phone. Called another time, they put me on hold for quite some time, so I called back and was told someone walked in and they were helping them. They then lied about not having a certain phone yet online it listed the phone as being in the store. I refuse to do business at this store. I drive 30 miles to Sulphur Springs to keep from dealing with this store. read more

I am not surprised that this store has received bad ratings. This store has horrible customer service. My husband went in to get help with how to process a claim and they were extremely rude to him and basically telling him to look it up himself. The representatives then discriminated against him since he is partly deaf and told him to leave because he was talking loudly. Verizon also took the side of "their representatives" by saying he couldn't return to this particular store because of his loud speech. This is fine by me because this store has a reputation of bad customer service just by the reviews found here. If there was any other cell service I could use in this area I would jump on it in a heartbeat. read more

Save your money and frustration by not visiting this Verizon location. My husband had a stroke and subsequently dropped his phone, breaking it. These people treated us like we were something from the bottom of their shoes. The female working there couldn't be bothered and stayed on her cell phone the entire time we were there. Probably at least an hour!! As owners of multiple businesses, these Verizon employees better be glad they have a job. If they worked at any of our businesses, they would have been terminated immediately. We ended up driving all the way to our own Verizon store in Sulphur Springs, TX (1.5 hrs away). We have been all over the USA and have visited many Verizon stores over the last 15 years we've been with them. This was the worst experience to date and if weren't for the inconvenience of changing providers, we would have done that today. Go to a place that actually cares about their customers and represents Verizon well. read more
