I received horrible customer service today. Apparently, I arrived closer to the store closing for a pickup order. I was transferring my number in from T-Mobile and the rep basically handed me the bag and told me it was a $30 charge if I had to get them to help ME port over a number. As if I was some professional. He proceeded and said "it's very simple, just turn on the phone and service would be on". In the same breath, locking down the store and while selling me a $75 phone case. I get home, phone doesn't work. I spent about 2 hours with T-Mobile port line and then had to call Verizon's only to find out theirs isn't a 24 hours. It's been a mess and now I still will have to come to the store tomorrow. All because he was too lazy to assist a customer because he was ready to go. Great Customer service seems to be far and few these days. I'll probably try another Verizon store because that was so uncalled for. read more

Yolanda Cockfield is who you need to see if you go to this store. I had been dealing with a very complicated issue with Verizon where me and several other associates at another store were on and off the phone with Verizon for FIVE hours, and still nothing was resolved. On my lunch break yesterday, I went into this store, explained the situation to Yolanda, and she jumped head first into the issue. She was polite, understanding, and had a great sense of humor despite being on the phone with Verizon for 2.5 hours to help resolve my issue. She allowed me to leave to go back to work while she managed the issue for me, and when I got back, she had performed a miracle and resolved all of the issues. She was a dream and a bad ass. If you need someone to advocate for you, Yolanda is your person. Thank you again Yolanda!!! read more

I went to update my phone and when went in I was greeted right away. Yolanda was there to help me out right away. We updated me to a new phone with no issues. After got the phone done she explained that would be shipped and then asked if needed any accessories for it. Recommend what should get and why at no time did I feel this was being pushed into any purchase. By far she was the sweetest sales person I have felt with at Verizon. She even made time to answer few questions on an iPad that I was curious about. I for sure will be asking for her on any issues or other purchases that I make from Verizon. I went into this location to look and possibly get a new phone. Now! I know all Verizon store usually greet there customers as they walk in. NOPE!!!!!!!! not today, nor did i get any help. I walked around for several minutes on purpose just to see if "ANYONE WOULD COME TO ME" and everyone else that came through the door was greeted. I don't know if i had a F$@& you look on my face or what. But! Needless to say i don't have a new phone. And this is not the first time this has happened or the only location it has happened. If i could give zero stars i would. I came into Verizon today in hopes of switching over from T-mobile and because a few people recommended it to me. A older hispanic man who worked there called me over while one of the employees were already talking to me. I walked over to him & he was the rudest person i've ever met in customer service. Very unprofessional & he was using foul language. He made an unnecessary comment about my nails and and when i told him i didn't understand the plan he was explaining to me he raised his voice at me and said "YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW". I wanted someone else to help me so bad but honestly at that point i just wanted to get out of there. How do you expect to make any sells with that horrible attitude? I tried to call the store and speak to a manager but i'm not a customer so i was never able to speak to an actual person, only the answering machine. I've always had quick service except for one time when a new phone came out. I've been going to this store for years but the staff changes a lot which is understandable. On September 20th, 2019, I called this Verizon store after going to two others and speaking with reps at other stores to find out they were out of the iphone I wanted. The gentleman at this store was very polite that answered the phone and told me they had plenty in stock. I got there and the lady helping us named Monty already seemed to have a big attitude. I told her I wanted the 11 Pro Max and she said there completely out. I told her about my conversation with the gentleman 5 minutes before and she went to check for the phone and somehow only had "one left". Then I go to do the upgrade process with her and she tells me I have to call 611 to cancel my other preorder and I said that's totally fine and called them. I was on hold for a while and asked her if I could hold the phone while in the store and she told me no with a huge attitude. 15 minutes pass and I'm still on hold with 611, this whole time Monty isn't helping us or anyone else, she kept disappearing to the back. She never told me I could use the MyVerizon app to cancel my preorder in less than 5 seconds so I finally did that myself and then still had to wait on her to come back. When she comes back she told me to backup my phone and I asked her 4 times how to and the first 3 she just told me to get on WiFi when I was already on the WiFi. Finally we start the process after about 45 minutes and she tells me to erase my phone. I erase the phone I'm upgrading from and not 2 minutes later she looks at my phone and tells me "they're going to charge you full price for this, $1,099, because there's a crack" (again saying it with cruel intent). I told her about the two other reps from other stores I talked too, they each told me with my warranty it would be a $29 charge on my next bill with tax and that's it. She's arguing with me back and forth at this point and I was sick of the terrible customer service. I finally just told her to go ahead and do it and called Verizon Support after because I was nervous about the charge. The guy on the phone literally said she sounds like a "nut" when I told him the story and asked if I would be charged that. He told me not to worry, that the other 2 reps were right and the $29 charge is it. All in all, I never do Yelp reviews, but this was by far the worst customer service I've EVER had in my life and if it weren't for the other 2 polite gentleman I talked to, I would've definitely switched to another service provider that day because of Monty. She was unnatentive, mean, not helpful, and seemed as if she'd rather me not get the phone. I'm so surprised Verizon would even hire someone like that. Upgrading to the new iPhone should be a great experience, it was ho UPDATE: Got a call from Verizon manager of this store. I can see where Monty get it's from. Manager could care less and did nothing at all to satisfy me, the customer. Also forgot to mention that there was a deal for getting the iPhone the day it came out that I didn't find out about until after because Monty never mentioned it, so I lost money on that too. I previously went to the Sugarloaf Store. Apparently a couple years ago they were a 'corporate' store then it became a 'franchise' store. Since then... Last three times in I was met by very unqualified staff. (One guy sold used cars the previous week) Even their accessories are not Verizon brand. They sell cheap, high margin accessories that don't last! High turnover, etc. 100% suggest taking a few minutes and going to the corporate store in Lawrenceville on Lawrenceville/Suwanee. 890 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 I have never gone there and come away without being very impressed with the team at that 'corporate' location. They are always willing to go the extra mile. Including the not so fun task of upgrading the phone and bringing data and apps. I noticed there were bad reviews and are years old. The manager at this store that I dealt with was rude and unhelpful in trying to fix my problem with my Verizon blackberry. After 4 different phones, she wouldn't allow me to upgrade or downgrade to a different blackberry. Did I mention the 4 phone replacements were in less than a year and all because of corrupt software from Verizon? It's not like I was continually dropping the phone or destroying it myself. Because of this poor customer service and lack of respect for it's long time customers, I left Verizon and moved to AT&T where I'm very happy with the service and my iPhone. Shocked that this place has bad reviews. I have always been greeted upon entering. I ask for Yolanda because she's amazing. When my phone suddenly died she went completely out of her way to figure out how to retrieve my photos (which were 3 years of my son's life). The store is okay. I always seem to get the same girl when I go, even though I try to avoid her. It's frustrating when they give you information that 1. Is wrong. 2. Is not relevant to what I'm looking for and 3. Is wrong! Down playing certain products in order to self other products is not what I considered a good business tactic. They should try just giving the customers basic information, and letting them make the decisions. Wow, wow, great customer service! I don't usually go out of my way to post on yelp, but these guys are great. I talked with Josh to get my family's plan, and he was excellent! I will only go to these guys if I need anything from verizon, and these guys are 30 mins away from my home. I literally pass 2 or 3 Verizon stores to come here. I talked to one of the managers today about my plan and billing and I could not be more happy. His name I don't remember, but he had dreads. He was super cool and extremely helpful. Last year when I upgraded to the Droid, the store manager convinced me to get insurance on the phone. He specifically told me that if anything happen to the phone, it woudl be $50 to replace it. Later, I found out that it woudl actually be $100 to replace the phone. Now a year later, the screen has gone black on my phone, they've come out with several other phones, and the original Droid can be purchsed for $50 (and I can actually get one free through another source), so why would I pay $100 to replace it? My son's phone stopped powering on within a month on him getting it. We took it n and they shrugged their shoulders and said "well, we can't recreate teh problem". We had to wait until it wouldn't come on one day and take it back up there. My Droid was locking up on me and I wa told it was because I had too many apps. 1) I haven hardly any apps. 2) what's the point of a "smart phone" if you can't load apps??? read more

this place terrible. i had iphone 3GS 3 years ago with 2 year contract, when i check verizon online. they told me my contract was over and they want to know if i am going to get New phone with another 2 year contract. but i was thinking to move to At&t. so i went to this verizon wireless store to Cancel my contract. When i walked in No one Absoutly no one welcome me. there was about 4-5 Worker and 2 Customer. after waiting 1 minute. one of employee came and ask me what i need. so i told them that i am here to cancel my contract. i gave them my phone number. BUT they told me If i cancel my contract i have to pay over $200 for canceling fee? They appear to be professional but avoid Jonathan and Mario. We went in to pay for an iPhone 6 outright, Jonathan attempts to go in the back of the store for about 30 min, comes out and says they have manually approved us for an upgrade on Edge with a $300 deposit. Mind you, we have been a customer for 10 years. Also he made the deal sound so sweet and threw in a $199.00 Bose Speaker and a $99.00 LifeProof case. We kept asking how is this free, and if this is possible. Jonathan kept beating around the bush and couldn't directly answer our question, telling us it would show up differently on the bill and they had to ring it up that way, but this is a promotional deal and he wanted to help us out and do us a favor. Weeks go by and we are still a bit confused and decided to call corporate headquarters to see how legit this deal was. Our receipt total was $949.00 but did not show anywhere that we gave them a $300 deposit. The rep advised us that we needed to go down to the Verizon store and get our money back because there should have no been a down payment on anything. In reality Jonathan and Mario lied about the $300 for the down payment and made a sale on the speaker and case that we never wanted. All items were returned and our refunded was fulfilled. When we visited the store the original manager Mario couldn't be of any assistance but stood there on the phone acting busy. I can't speak for all the reps here at this store but I can assure you Jonathan and Mario knew exactly what they were doing and pulled a fast one on loyal customers. Makes you wonder if they lied with a straight face how many other customers have been affecting and don't have a clue. If it sounds too good to be true it's probably not. read more
