****The female Spanish employee with glasses and no name tag is, confrontational, nasty, bitter and overall unprofessional if you care about having a positive experience avoid her at all costs better yet go to another location. This employee should be fired**** I have been with Verizon Wireless for about 7 years have spent around $10k over the duration of that time. When I upgrade my device and do a trade in I normally order my device to be picked up in a store locker, and I normally ship my trade in via UPS. I upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and opted in for the trade in promotion to receive $1100 over the course of 36 months for the trade in of my iPhone 15 Pro. I had selected to drop the trade in off at this location which I now regret. Upon arriving at the store when they first opened, I had my trade in and the printed-out sheet for the trade in information that Verizon sends you via email that contains all pertinent information relating to the trade in. I gave both to female Spanish worker and explained that this is a trade in. she asked me with a very nasty glare and disgusted look on face "why are you here sir" I repeated myself again with the same thing. Instead of her looking at the paper to help her understand why I was there because she clearly does not understand American conversation and contextual conversation, she became hostile and gave me so much attitude; I had to tell her to change her attitude and calm down but clearly she was looking for a reason to become confrontational and became that without a reason. I requested for another employee to help me she stated" he's the manager he can't help you". Ater she further continued to exhibit incompetence, idiotic behavior, confrontational, unprofessional and other unreasonable/ unnecessary behavior I had to change my tone, become aggressive and pull the native New Yorker out to her and put her in her place which I did because she took the out of her tone and she walked about 10 feet away from me. The manager was standing by during all of this and instead of stepping in prior to all of this he waited until I pulled out the native New Yorker attitude to step in to help me on something that should have been 1,2,3. You don't wait until a physical altercation almost occurs to step in; you step in before that but there seems to be a pattern of behavior with this store pertaining to incompetence, unprofessionalism, confrontational behavior and just overall bad management. This store needs an new management and new an overhaul of all new employees but regardless of what this store does, or doesn't moving forward, I will go back to how I handled things previously which is ordering online to pick up in the locker and ship trade ins via UPS so I don't have to interact with anyone at this store. read more

DO NOT BUY ASURION VERIZON PHONE INSUANCE - BIG SCAM I pay for insurance monthly and with Verizon for 19 years. I just tried to use it for my i-Phone11 one of the camera lenses is scratched it's a $12 little glass sticker. They will not fix it they said they can only replace it for $239! DISCRACEFUL! The insurance is called "Total Phone Coverage" this is a lie! Do a Google search for a class action lawsuit. DO NOT USE ASURION Switched from Verizon to T-Mobil. Saving over $100 a month! read more

I would not go to this location ever again. In November of this year, I purchased a jetpack for my iPad. When I purchased the jetpack, I could not get it to work despite a representative at the store set it up for me. I went back to the store to explain that I could not get any internet access through wifi and this female representative abruptly cut me off without looking at my devices and said, " It's not our devices that is not working, it's yours "! Now, I have been a customer with Verizon for 18 years and this is the service I get from your employee. read more

MOST RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went in there to check my phone status because it's broken, and the lady would not even listen to me! She just started attacking me for no reason read more

I've been looking to upgrade my phone from a prepaid for about 6 months. I went to 2 previous Verizon businesses to make inquiries and was disappointed by the lack of customer service. Needless to say, if it wasn't for the fact that my job offers a discount with verizon wireless, I would be looking elsewhere for cellular service. I was on my way to a different location when my daughter and I spotted this one and took a chance to go in. This experience was totally different. The minute I walked in the door, the available sales rep, Jerry asked me what I needed. The atmosphere was friendly, upbeat and very personable. I didn't feel like I was just another "dollar sign" to get a sale. He listened to what I wanted and helped me to find the right cellphone and plan. As far as I'm concerned Jerry saved Verizon's reputation. Maybe some of the other stores can get some pointers. read more

Been waiting here for almost an hour to upgrade my phone. Always a long wait here. On the good side I was helped by Michael was very informative and helpful. Waiting this amount of time is unacceptable to me. read more

Came in the store because I was looking to get a new phone since mine is on its death bed. I just wanted to look around in peace but as soon as I walked in one of the sales associate was hovering over me asking a million questions. I didn't want to be rude and tell him to go away but I hate when sales people don't just leave you be. I was looking at the phones but the stores heat was up so high I was sweating and needed to just leave the store. read more

The staff here were the most useless, unhelpful, rude ppl. I I went into the store to look at plants. One representative was helpful answer my questions however, I'm a visual learner and I asked him if he had any of this written down and he said it's all on the website so one of my phone to write down what he said in a text message, but I couldn't remember some of it, and when I looked up he was gone so I saw another representative. Her name was zanna she had blond hair and was so rUde ! I asked her stating I wanted to confirm the information so I can write it down. She said " I'm not confirming any information. It's all on our website go look it up " but I'm in the store now and you're here. Why can't you just answer my questions-if I want to look it up, I would've stayed home and looked it up on my computer ! I told her I was just confirming what I was just told by the other representative, but the other representative isn't here. Apparently he went in the back and disappeared. Can she answer my questions she refused to answer any of my questions and said go look at on the website ! I guess I'll just keep my pls. To Google fi read more

This store has THE WORST customer service, and employees are in desperate need of product and policy training. I was sold the wrong product, and told it would be on my Edge plan. Everyone makes mistakes, so I went back TWICE to get the product I was told I had initially purchased. Once I received my bill (30 days later) it turns out the ENTIRE price was placed on my Verizon account, and that product is "ineligible" for the edge program. Needless to say, I'm left with a $500 bill and past the 30 day return window. Save yourself some major headaches and select a different Verizon store. The drive will be well worth it, and you'll save yourself the frustration you get from dealing with incompetent employees. read more

My father and I went into the store to see what coverage my phone has as it has been restarting and crashing for the past two days. We were met with a short Hispanic woman with a quick temper. She was no help at all and was talking over us trying to get us out of the store because of some unknown reason. The other workers are probably nicer than her and if you are stuck going to this location avoid her at all cost as she will do nothing to help. read more

Walked in the store today, Tuesday about noon, looking to upgrade to iPhone X. Richard was extremely helpful. I was worried about my bill going up and he showed several ways that he was going to bring it down. They don't transfer pics or contacts anymore but everything was on iCloud and reassured me I'd be able to do it. And as he said, I did. Very nice, polite, and informative. Ask for Richard M, he's awesome. Ps...gave me his card to text or call if I had any trouble. Definitely five stars read more

Like most I the Verizon company stores, it is conveniently located, nicely decorated and like most of other stores, it offers CLUMSY customer service. I have noticed that their service is bearable for new accounts, and that where the buck stops. Most of the employees are full of attitude and not helpful. Verdict - avoid these one if you can! read more

Most Verizon retail stores I've been to are great. This is the only Verizon dealership that I would actually avoid, unless you are looking to test a phone to buy somewhere else. But even that I say with hesitation. I was there last Thursday, and the brand new Motorola Razr Maxx HD floor model was not working. Today is Sunday and that only floor model is still not working. Not only that, but the CSR looked puzzled when I brought it to his attention, as if during the past 4 days, nobody has wanted to try out Motorola's latest and greatest phone and he was hearing about it not working for the first time from me. Aside from that there is an annoying intermittent beeping sound, which goes off all day long in the store. This has been happening every time I've been there for at least a year. Finally, I was told that anyone who worked there, having any technical knowledge was sent to work in Valley Stream. So you will likely know more than any CSR you see on the floor. If you aren't at all technically saavy, I wouldn't trust anyone in this store for a good recommendation for a phone. read more

Came in the store numerous times for different reasons ...My Best experience was with the Pretty Russian women, her name is Zhanna !!! She is very professional ,very attentive ...Outstanding Customer Service !!! I'm a very happy customer thanks to her....Thank you Zhanna you are Awesome A+A+A+ read more

This store is an interesting store. The customer service is totally lacking. If you are doing a return you can wait and wait unless you get someone's attention. Checking in does nothing. You need to keep on top of them and approach the sales person at front desk..why do you have to chase people with returns? Because the sales people work on commission and a returned sale means a loss of commission. Stay away from the blond Russian woman she is a total bitch. I have complained about her to corporate and the store manager. I was told that they have had numerous complaints but keep her because she does high volume sales for the store. So case in point Verizon could careless about customer experience verses sales. That is truly Reflected in the stores attitude. Verizon has great coverage but the rules and upgrade policies constantly change. The minute you upgrade your phone the old policy you had is no longer in effect. This is with or without a contract. They say no contract but when your phone needs to fully be paid off to upgrade or move to another carrier that's a contract. They all play the hot potato game. read more

This store needs massive amounts of training. Went in to buy an iphone 5s. Supposed to be a exciting enjoyable purchase (my first smartphone!). Assistant Manager John L, was rude, dismissive, arrogant and made us feel like he was doing us the biggest favor. No help setting up the phone, no offers to buy accessories, no help to transfer contacts from old phone. And when our bill came....he put us into the wrong plan. Took an hour on the phone to undo this. Avoid this store like the plague! read more

Besides paying huge premiums for Verizon service, I had the misfortune of going to this location on Rockaway Turnpike in Nassau county to get a new phone, I had 6 lines on my account mind you. Once inside the store I was "helped" by a surly, aggressive and heavily accented woman. The interaction was so bad that I actually cut it short and requested another person to help me, because her attitude and demeanor was both unwarranted and egregious. I do have to say this incident occurred at least two years ago, but I have heard from others that have gone to this location more recently - that not much has changed besides a lame registration kiosk when you walk in. To sum up my experience, atrocious customer service, and poor attitude overall. read more

Came into this store looking for a specific phone for my upgrade. Although they didn't have the phone I really wanted I left with a phone that was very similar! Everyone was so friendly and helpful through the stressful process of being out of stock of the phones I wanted. Jonathan and mike were nothing but helpful friendly and understanding! They answered all questions I had and even more! Very satisfied with the process of getting a new phone from them. Mind you they kept me pass the time they closed to make sure I understood everything and was satisfied! read more

What an awful customer experience! Waited 15 min to get any attention from one of the 3 available employees and when asked for help I was basically passed from one to another until I raised my voice. Upon purchase of IPhone, manager tried selling me a (gulp) $89 case which she claimed "I needed" and a $29 screen protector. Will keep avoiding at all costs. Would be great if we could have another Verizon store locally!! read more

So I ordered online for my upgrade, but decided I wanted to pick it up from the store due to delivery issues. I chose this store, why I don't know. When I first entered it seemed to have been a slow day. I was approached by an employee named Millie. She had to be the most useless employee ever !!! I had some concerns with my previous iPhone and I wanted to know if I would still have the same problem. She tells me she can not confirm or deny my issue. (Blank stare). Against my better judgement I decided to go through with the purchase. She attempted to assist me with setting it up. Truth be told I would've been better off going home and doing it myself. When a prompt for the iCloud kept coming up I told her what it was saying and she asked me what does that mean !!! Really Millie?? Don't you work here ??? I was so annoyed with her service and she had the nerve to be texting on her personal phone while she's supposed to be assisting me. I would never go back to this particular store again. Stay away from this store. Side note, while I was waiting all the other employees were having personal conversations. One female employee was complaining about her psoriasis/ dandruff problem. I learned coconut oil is good for that from the male employee and another female said she got something from Dominican Republic. Wish she was helping me, maybe I could've gotten the name of said concoction. Lmao read more

Yesterday, I went into this store to buy an IPad and upgrade my IPhone to the the 6plus. My daughter and I waited patiently for about 30 minutes. Then, the person with whom I signed in with called us over to say that a particular salesperson was ready to help us. First she looked me up and down, and then she said, "I'll take you, but I really don't have a lot of time for this." In return, I said, "I don't want to force her to take me. She doesn't really want to wait on me." It was at this time that I left the store. This is not the first time that this senior saleswoman has been condescending towards me where I had to leave without a purchase. The last time, I was able to drive to Old Country Road to buy my two IPhones, after she said to me, "maybe you just can't afford these." read more

This store is the worst. I have been a Verizon customer for 20 years and am always treated well...until I step foot into this store. Nasty employees who only care about making a sale. Once you're no longer a potential commission, they will literally slam the door in your face. From now on I'll be driving the 15 minutes to the Rockville Center location where reps treat their customers like human beings. read more
