This employee should be fired**** I have been with Verizon Wireless for about 7 years have spent around $10k over the duration of that time. When I upgrade my device and do a trade in I normally order my device to be picked up in a store locker, and I normally ship my trade in via UPS. I upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and opted in for the trade in promotion to receive $1100 over the course of 36 months for the trade in of my iPhone 15 Pro. I had selected to drop the trade in off at this location which I now regret. Upon arriving at the store when they first opened, I had my trade in and the printed-out sheet for the trade in information that Verizon sends you via email that contains all pertinent information relating to the trade in. I gave both to female Spanish worker and explained that this is a trade in. she asked me with a very nasty glare and disgusted look on face "why are you here sir" I repeated myself again with the same thing. Instead of her looking at the paper to help her understand why I was there because she clearly does not understand American conversation and contextual conversation, she became hostile and gave me so much attitude; I had to tell her to change her attitude and calm down but clearly she was looking for a reason to become confrontational and became that without a reason. I requested for another employee to help me she stated" he's the manager he can't help you". Ater she further continued to exhibit incompetence, idiotic behavior, confrontational, unprofessional and other unreasonable/ unnecessary behavior I had to change my tone, become aggressive and pull the native New Yorker out to her and put her in her place which I did because she took the out of her tone and she walked about 10 feet away from me. The manager was standing by during all of this and instead of stepping in prior to all of this he waited until I pulled out the native New Yorker attitude to step in to help me on something that should have been 1,2,3. You don't wait until a physical altercation almost occurs to step in; you step in before that but there seems to be a pattern of behavior with this store pertaining to incompetence, unprofessionalism, confrontational behavior and just overall bad management. This store needs an new management and new an overhaul of all new employees but regardless of what this store does, or doesn't moving forward, I will go back to how I handled things previously which is ordering online to pick up in the locker and ship trade ins via UPS so I don't have to interact with anyone at this store. read more

I would not go to this location ever again. In November of this year, I purchased a jetpack for my iPad. I've been looking to upgrade my phone from a prepaid for about 6 months. I went to 2 previous Verizon businesses to make inquiries and was disappointed by the lack of customer service. Needless to say, if it wasn't for the fact that my job offers a discount with verizon wireless, I would be looking elsewhere for cellular service. I was on my way to a different location when my daughter and I spotted this one and took a chance to go in. This experience was totally different. The minute I walked in the door, the available sales rep, Jerry asked me what I needed. The atmosphere was friendly, upbeat and very personable. I didn't feel like I was just another "dollar sign" to get a sale. He listened to what I wanted and helped me to find the right cellphone and plan. The staff here were the most useless, unhelpful, rude ppl. I I went into the store to look at plants. One representative was helpful answer my questions however, I'm a visual learner and I asked him if he had any of this written down and he said it's all on the website so one of my phone to write down what he said in a text message, but I couldn't remember some of it, and when I looked up he was gone so I saw another representative. This store has THE WORST customer service, and employees are in desperate need of product and policy training. I was sold the wrong product, and told it would be on my Edge plan. Everyone makes mistakes, so I went back TWICE to get the product I was told I had initially purchased. Once I received my bill (30 days later) it turns out the ENTIRE price was placed on my Verizon account, and that product is "ineligible" for the edge program. Needless to say, I'm left with a $500 bill and past the 30 day return window. Save yourself some major headaches and select a different Verizon store. Walked in the store today, Tuesday about noon, looking to upgrade to iPhone X. Richard was extremely helpful. I was worried about my bill going up and he showed several ways that he was going to bring it down. They don't transfer pics or contacts anymore but everything was on iCloud and reassured me I'd be able to do it. And as he said, I did. Very nice, polite, and informative. Like most I the Verizon company stores, it is conveniently located, nicely decorated and like most of other stores, it offers CLUMSY customer service. I have noticed that their service is bearable for new accounts, and that where the buck stops. Most of the employees are full of attitude and not helpful. Most Verizon retail stores I've been to are great. This is the only Verizon dealership that I would actually avoid, unless you are looking to test a phone to buy somewhere else. But even that I say with hesitation. I was there last Thursday, and the brand new Motorola Razr Maxx HD floor model was not working. Today is Sunday and that only floor model is still not working. Not only that, but the CSR looked puzzled when I brought it to his attention, as if during the past 4 days, nobody has wanted to try out Motorola's latest and greatest phone and he was hearing about it not working for the first time from me. Aside from that there is an annoying intermittent beeping sound, which goes off all day long in the store. This has been happening every time I've been there for at least a year. Finally, I was told that anyone who worked there, having any technical knowledge was sent to work in Valley Stream. So you will likely know more than any CSR you see on the floor. If you aren't at all technically saavy, I wouldn't trust anyone in this store for a good recommendation for a phone. read more

This store is an interesting store. The customer service is totally lacking. If you are doing a return you can wait and wait unless you get someone's attention. Checking in does nothing. You need to keep on top of them and approach the sales person at front desk..why do you have to chase people with returns? Because the sales people work on commission and a returned sale means a loss of commission. Stay away from the blond Russian woman she is a total bitch. I have complained about her to corporate and the store manager. I was told that they have had numerous complaints but keep her because she does high volume sales for the store. So case in point Verizon could careless about customer experience verses sales. That is truly Reflected in the stores attitude. Verizon has great coverage but the rules and upgrade policies constantly change. The minute you upgrade your phone the old policy you had is no longer in effect. This is with or without a contract. They say no contract but when your phone needs to fully be paid off to upgrade or move to another carrier that's a contract. They all play the hot potato game. read more

Besides paying huge premiums for Verizon service, I had the misfortune of going to this location on Rockaway Turnpike in Nassau county to get a new phone, I had 6 lines on my account mind you. Once inside the store I was "helped" by a surly, aggressive and heavily accented woman. The interaction was so bad that I actually cut it short and requested another person to help me, because her attitude and demeanor was both unwarranted and egregious. I do have to say this incident occurred at least two years ago, but I have heard from others that have gone to this location more recently - that not much has changed besides a lame registration kiosk when you walk in. This store needs massive amounts of training. Went in to buy an iphone 5s. Supposed to be a exciting enjoyable purchase (my first smartphone!). So I ordered online for my upgrade, but decided I wanted to pick it up from the store due to delivery issues. I chose this store, why I don't know. When I first entered it seemed to have been a slow day. I was approached by an employee named Millie. She had to be the most useless employee ever !!! I had some concerns with my previous iPhone and I wanted to know if I would still have the same problem. She tells me she can not confirm or deny my issue. (Blank stare). Against my better judgement I decided to go through with the purchase. She attempted to assist me with setting it up. Truth be told I would've been better off going home and doing it myself. When a prompt for the iCloud kept coming up I told her what it was saying and she asked me what does that mean !!! Really Millie?? Don't you work here ??? Yesterday, I went into this store to buy an IPad and upgrade my IPhone to the the 6plus. My daughter and I waited patiently for about 30 minutes. Then, the person with whom I signed in with called us over to say that a particular salesperson was ready to help us. First she looked me up and down, and then she said, "I'll take you, but I really don't have a lot of time for this." In return, I said, "I don't want to force her to take me. She doesn't really want to wait on me."
