Have had good luck with this location in the past. Last few visits staff seems significantly more rude, and less clear, at times seeming almost predatory. I don't mind the prices associated with the cost of doing business with Verizon, I used to believe that I was paying in part for the fantastic customer service.. I am appalled by the complete lack of compassion and basic competence at this location. Like most companies, Verizon aggressively pushes customers to enroll in paperless e-billing and automatic payments. But when a customer passes away, their loved ones are locked out of those accounts, left completely in the dark about upcoming automatic charges and billing details. After recently losing my parent, I took care of responsible measures and alerted Verizon over a month ago that he had passed away. Despite this, I received a bill addressed to him that included a $30 returned check fee triggered by their system trying to process payments on an account we were trying to settle. I went into the store to handle his affairs in person, and it was a nightmare: A 40-minute wait: I sat waiting for 40 minutes, only for the exact same employee who made me wait to finally pull up the bill. Unfair fees: When he told me the $30 charge was a returned check fee, I pointed out that Verizon had already been notified of his death over a month ago. I clearly stated I was happy to pay the legitimate balance owed, but charging a deceased person's account a fee after being notified of their passing is absurd. Zero help or empathy: His response? A literal shrug and "There's nothing I can do about that." When I asked who could help me resolve it, he just shrugged at me again. Forcing people into e-billing makes it impossible for families to manage a late relative's affairs, and to be met with such apathy and laziness by store staff while dealing with a loss is disgraceful. Just got an email telling my wife and I that we are losing our promotional credit ($22.22 per line) we received for trading in our old phones. It was stated that this was due to us changing plans to a lower tier. Sadly, we visited the store on fruitville pike to make this change since we wanted to make sure we weren't doing anything that would penalize us. I personally asked the rep at least twice if changing to a lower priced plan would have any negative impact on our account and payment. He assured us that it would not. We are both senior citizens and felt he had a condescending and patronizing attitude. In the end now I feel embarrassed that I have been cheated and tricked. Counting the days until I can change phone carriers. WARNING don't let the reps at this location change your plan!.......UPDATE..We visited this store to see if they could help us out and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I commented to the rep that I was unhappy with Verizon and that I would be looking for a new provider when my contract is expired. He got smart with me saying that it would be my loss since they have the best coverage. A real condescending wiseguy. I got upset and asked to speak to the manager. I found a guy named Bailey who said he was the manager but he didn't like me complaining. He held the door open for us to leave, totally dismissing us. I am not at all surprised to see the first 10 reviews were horrid. In my 65 years on this earth, this store was the first place where an employee ( JL, I believe) chased me across the store and YELLED at me !! He had been helpful the day before, suggesting I replace my battery on my sick phone first. It didn't work and I went back. He was more or less ok til I said I needed my code to change providers. His attitude changed in a flash. He told me" We don't DO that here". ( at the Fruitville store the gentleman told me that this guy didn't want to deal with me once he knew there was no commission ) After some other runaround I left and on the way out told another customer who had overheard my problem and smiled at me exactly where Verizon could put their customer service. JL RAN across the store to me yelling that I couldn't talk to that man, why was I doing that ?!?! Today I.called.to get my transfer pin number so I could change over to another provider to save money. Surprise, surprise the virtual assistant said it would send me a transfer PIN by text twice and never sent the text. Next I tried to sign into my account and they said my zip code did not match my phone number. I've had the same zipe code and.ohone number for at least 20 years! This is a joke of a store and thats putting it mildly. I was in the store helping a family member upgrade their phone. As soon as i walked in, the front counter people stare at you like they are hawks watching prey. The guy helping us (didnt see his name but he was a skinny black guy with tats) was anything but a good employee. He was condescending and pompous to say the least. He acted as if it was a waste of time for an upgrade because he had to explain things. Such a horrible attitude was definitely the low point for this store. He then walked into the back and didnt come out again. Then when we sign in he has a complete attitude with every question being asked. We are having significant signal issues at our home, and dropped calls all the time, even with calls Over wifi. Went to Verizon and John, the manager, gatekeeper at the door, was so rude and tried to blame our Apple phones AND xfinity for our issues (never admitting we, and the other 4 of our neighbors with Verizon and the same issues might have valid complaints) and talked over us as we tried to explain the issues. Told us the store couldn't help, to call tech support, and that after we wait for a customer service person for four hours, they can "probably fix it in about 40 minutes." Our neighbors had To fight for a booster, but I think we will just go to TMobile. If you need a pleasant experience, try the Verizon store near Giant in Lititz. By far the worst business I have ever done business with. Purchased over 30 grand from this company, never returned one item, never complained once. Never charged back once. All of the sudden I couldnt purchase from them and have been running around with customer service for two months. The biggest waste of time I have personally ever spent. I will never do business with Verizon again. I was simply ordering accessories, and even ordering through the phone or a customer service rep would work, only to request more information, once the information would be provided, my order would be charged BUT never shipped. Very shady practices. Had to call and demand cancellation of orders. Most recent visit needed to rearrange a personal and business account, disconnect a phone or two and upgrade equipment, staff was rude, unhelpful and verbally combative. Update-so we ended up going there because they were the only store in the area. They told us the two people that were rude on the phone were no longer there on the property. For as long as this store was open I'd always got super help and great advice from very knowledgeable people. Today I went to replace my iPhone 11 pro 256 that got wet and fried. I told the sales associate that I wanted the same iPhone but the newer version. I know phones are hard to find and they didn't have one in stock. Instead, she offered to order me one and rushed through the transaction, swiped through the approval screens for me to get me to the screen to sign off on the order. This part was my fault, because I should have clarified first, but I asked to confirm that I received the 256 after I had already signed and she said that she didn't even think to ask about that detail. She didn't need to ask, the details of the phone I had was on the tablet screen in her hands! The manager was unable to correct the order. I just don't think that the people I've worked with in the past would have missed this detail or at the very least been able to correct the order once it was entered. If you're looking for an iiphone right now, check Costco and Best Buy. Better chances you'll find one in stock. read more

Went there trying to get a phone for my husband because his stopped working. Was told I could come in without an appointment but I couldn't ask questions and had to pick the phone and buy it immediately. Was directed to go online for information. We have a business account and it's not that easy. Said I would take my business to another Verizon and was told that other Verizon stores are operating the same way. Quite literally one of the worst customer services experiences I have ever had. My iPhone has been broken (unresponsive, stuck on apple logo) for the past three weeks. I contacted Apple and they said it would cost me the price of a new phone to get my current phone repaired. So, I scheduled an appointment with Verizon to see what options they could provide me with. It was pouring raining when I got to my appointment that was scheduled for 12. I checked in around 11:56am at the front door. Mind you the rain and wind had picked up and at this point I was drenched waiting outside. The representative who "greeted" my dad and I at the door stood inside of the door asking why we were there. She actually said "why are you here" when I explained I had an appointment for my iPhone that has been unresponsive she then questioned me with "okay what's wrong with it? only one of you can come in". Again, we are standing out in the rain while she questions us. I get into the store, she does not look at my phone and immediately tells me that I must call the warranty line to get help. No one looked at my phone, performed any trouble shooting methods or anything. I then was not allowed to know any of my other options because I am not the account holder which is why my dad was with me (he is the account holder). She told my dad, after standing in the rain to return back to his car. After, I explained that the reason he wanted to come into the appointment was because he would be able to learn more about my options, she instructed me to just contact the warranty line. That was all she did. NO ONE looked at my phone, plugged it in, did not even press a button. This was such a waste of time and now I have spent 45+ minutes on hold with the technical support because I keep getting transferred to different departments for help. I understand that right now is a stressful time for everyone in the world, I get it. But, that is not an excuse to offer poor customer service to customers who have been with this company for years. The woman who "helped" me had red hair, was wearing a patterned cotton face mask and had silver sparkly nails. I went in to this store yesterday to upgrade my phone as I've been out of contract for several months, and the stores employees pretty much turned me away. The rep that I spoke with said that I would be forced out of my unlimited data plan if I upgraded my phone, and that the best the company could now offer is a 6Gb capped data plan that would cost about $40 a month more than I am currently paying. His exact words were "I'd love to take your money and sell you a phone but you're going to be paying more for less service". I said that I was surprised that was they best they could do for me, and he replied "well, let me show you to the door", and there stood another employee holding the door open. My wife and I walked out and will never return. Our conversation with the employees was pleasant, we were all being very courteous, but they literally showed us the door. I have been a customer for more than 10 years with Verizon, but this experience at this location has convinced us that the company is no longer interested in treating it's customers with respect. I have since spoken with Verizon corporate, and there are in fact many options for upgrading my phone that would not negatively impact my usage. I can still upgrade and receive a plan that would be more data usage than I need or would ever use, and with my trade in, would cost me almost nothing to start, and would be no more than I currently pay per month. These guys at this location were 100% wrong... and rude for no reason whatsoever. The rep from corporate was very friendly and helpful - she even helped me file a formal complaint about how I was treated at this store! Despite that, I'm still not entirely convinced that I want to remain a Verizon customer. I have heard from my friends that there are very good plans available from AT&T, Sprint, Virgin, T-Mobile, Republic, Straight Talk, Ting... there are plenty of other companies with competitive offers that I am certain would never treat me so poorly. read more

But later i found out there was a pice of dirt permanently prventing my keyboard feom being usable. I would have to tap letter seceral times before they would register. I'd give them 0 stars if I was able. Spent 4 hours on the chat session and phone trying to resolve issues with customer service and was very poorly mistreated. So my wife and I went into the store. All we wanted to do was adjust who had which phone and edge up the one phone. Overall, shouldn't have been horribly difficult. After being ignored (as were several other customers that came in the store after us) by 3 staff members who were standing around discussing weekend plans for a little more than 15 minutes, we were addressed. They refused to switch the phones around which even customer service had told us we could but then they wanted a ridiculous amount to edge up (and the total was almost 200$ more than in the contract), and to do it they also wanted to cancel my number (I've had for years, and wasn't cancelling my service, just switching phones) and make me get a new #. After re explaining the needs 3x, I was so frustrated that my wife has to take over the conversation and talk to the guy. He got even more beligerent with her. We had to leave the store. After much debate, we decided to go to att and were immediately well cared for, got a better plan than we had at verizon, and for 100$ a month less! My wife Amy I had been loyal customers of verizon for several years, always paid on time, and my wife edged up every year to the newest best phone which kept funneling $ into verizons pocket. The customer service we "received" just wasn't acceptable from any company and should not be tolerated.
