Peyton did an amazing job when he signed us up for our plan with new iPhones! He went over all the details of the new phones and explained the differences between the other versions of iPhones available. This is the first time I've ever been excited about leaving a review for a cell phone company, especially one about Verizon...I've always left their stores before in the past due to unfriendly reps and a feeling of being unwelcome in the store. The process took a little longer than expected, but my fiancée and I were in no huge hurry and it was WELL worth the wait for these amazing new phones and the great service we received! Peyton was fantastic to work with and talk to, and I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends if they're unsure about whether they should join. Also! Awful experience. Spend your money at the official Verizon store in JC, not this "franchise," or whatever it is. The customer service here is lacking on every level. The official local dealer told me, "NEVER go to this store." Last week, I was in the official branch, and heard two other customers complaining about Cellular Sales. They didn't know that it is NOT a "real" Verizon store, and neither did I, originally. Separately, about three months ago, they totally messed up my account, when giving me a "discount." It took three phone calls to Verizon, and a few hours, to correct the mistakes. BEWARE!! read more

My recent experience here was just awkward. Came in and mentioned that we needed to replace a lost SIM card. Received a weird look from the young man before he proceeded to have us follow him for him to help us. Was questioned "how" we lost the SIM card in a weird way. I travel out of the country sometimes... and when we do that we swap cards. With SIM cards being smaller than a US dime, is it really that strange for SIM cards to be lost?? I mean I'm here to PAY for a new one... not here to ask for freebies. Then was asked if we were Verizon customers. I mean... we DID come into a Verizon store. He claimed it's because lots of people come in from other carriers. Which I'm sure is true. But I doubt they come in asking for a Verizon SIM card replacement using the SAME number of the SIM card. Then was "informed" that the sim should belong to an iPhone X (I was putting the SIM card in a iPhone 6 Plus (my backup phone)). I mean it's MY SIM card. Why should they care what phone I put it in. I have a dozen phones... I should be able to use whatever phone I choose. Been a Verizon customer for over 6 years and we pay over $600 a month. Crazy to be treated like we were some crooks coming in here trying to scam a SIM card. Miss the old crew here that were awesome. read more

Why suffer the lines at the Verizon store on State of Franklin Rd? This place does everything and more than the "certified" dealer store. Plus it is open at 8:30am. Sales person at the SOF store misinformed me that no other Verizon dealers are in the area and that all opened at 10am. Bunk. Service was excellent, no pushy sales ploys and generous offers for accessories. You all know that Apple products are the same price everywhere- so go where the service and convenience are the best. read more

Hello everyone. My wife and I were dupped into going into this particular Verizon store for a recall on our LG V20 phones after speaking with a salesman named Todd. We were impressed with Todd and the store initially. We asked all of the right questions when it came to what all was included in the recall and if it was worth our time. One of the questions was, do we have to pay anything today if Verizon were to buy back our phones and put us into new ones? The answer from Todd initially was no. After we looked at 3 phones that he said were inline with the recall parameters, we picked out phones that had similar features to our previous phones (the LG V20). But we asked several more times what the cost would be if we did this. We were told that it would go on our next bill and that we would not have to pay out of pocket today. So they took our phones and started to transfer our contact info and get the ball rolling on the Verizon buyback on the LG V20 phones. By the end of it, we were told we had to pay $115 dollars today for taxes? I was like what taxes explain to me again how this recall works? Todd explained that the recall bought back both of our LG V20 phones and would put money towards the newer model LG V30 phone. They gave us a $62 rebate for both of our phones and we were left paying "taxes" on phones that cost almost 1000 dollars a piece. The only reason I did not tell them that we were not doing that or going with this recall is they already wiped our old phones clean and transferred all of our info and data to the new phones.. We would have went through with it with better reviews if they were upfront with us about the offer/recall at a later time. But Todd rang everything up and hit us with a bill that we did not know we had to pay until after the fact. Please ask all of the right questions when you shop for anything as they rarely tell you upfront the fine print until you are stuck. Being in management myself, I believe in great customer service and that if you take care of your customers they will take care of you. You don't have to cheat them into buying something they did not know they were signing up for or did not want. I asked one more time before swiping my card to pay the bill what the charge was for. With a smug look and joking jester he stated "Uncle Sam needs his money too" It was a measly 115 dollar sale man. You and Verizon just lost loyal customers because of that.. I would have given you 0 stars but that is not an option. Stay clear of this store!! Sprint is looking really good right now. read more
