My experience was the same as everyone else's. This store sucks! It's hard to believe it's a corporate store. I have been there three times & each time I've had the same experience. Their employees are rude, they don't greet you upon entering they all just stare like who's going to help? I felt like I was interrupting their group conversation. The managers are no different, it's trickling down apparently. The music was too loud & was not universal for a store. My phone was malfunctioning & they barely looked at it and told me to go through my insurance. My point of going there was for them to do something, reset, anything, humor me by acting like you at least tried to resolve the problem, there are techs there. I just bought this $975.00 Note 8 two months ago so why should I have to spend more money for an issue that is no fault of mine? I googled it and the flashing screen is a problem many others are experiencing. After the issues with the Note 7 you would think they'd be more attentive. I'm so glad I saved the corporate contact because he has excellent customer service skills and he was empathetic. In fact he is the reason I didn't switch back to Metro because I was going to send the phone back after my experience at this store & go back to Metro the first time I went there. I have to say, of all the Verizon Wireless stores I've been to over the years I've been with Verizon (and that's a long time), I've never experienced the kind of first class customer service that I've received from this store in Hesperia, CA. One excellent reason is that of Bishoy Rosafell. Specifically speaking, when I arrived to the store on Wednesday, 10/31/18, I was told to wait a few minutes, as he was busy with another customer. It was only a few minutes into waiting for service that Bishoy (having never met him before) approached me apologetically and informed me he would only be a few minutes before he could provide me with service. True to his word, he presented with clear listening to what I required of a phone and accessories. He demonstrated great patience, listening skills, and most importantly, great persistence in seeking and locating the necessary items required for my newly purchased phone. This, I believe, is outstanding customer service. So much so, in fact, that I've informed him that I will continue to use his services when making future purchases at this particular store. It is with great confidence and pleasure that I highly recommend anyone check out this store, and more specifically, request for Bishoy to service them. I believe he has excellent work ethics, outstanding customer service, and loyalty to the individuals he services. read more

If I could give any advice, it would be to deal with Verizon directly over the phone or online. We had two iphones shipped directly to the store because they were "out of stock and none of the other locations had any". When the phones arrived, the original rep who had helped us wasn't there. Another rep working found our phones, and gave them to us, and was ready to send us off with the phones still in UPS packaging. I asked him if he'd be able to activate them for us, you know, how they always do when it is a the time of sale. He looked at us so confused and puzzled like this isn't the job of a person who works in phone sales. So he called and activated it and skipped through the whole basic quickstart that iPhone prompts. I had to restore my brand new phone and set it up again. Bonus points because the second iPhone was cracked, and this store managed to handle that poorly as well. I wasted my entire night, to end up doing everything myself, and calling customer service the next day to have the billing issues that resulted from the cracked phone fixed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I care about. It was all good while they were making their sale, but everything was a huge inconvenience thereafter. The sales person at this Verizon Wireless store was a blatant liar. The phone was a piece of junk. On the web it was 90.00. In the store 168.00. He told me if I ported my number, I would pay 7.00 a month for 3 months then there after would be no charge. So better deal than online. No contract. An agreement Same with a hotspot he sold me. Didn't gave it in store. Would ship it. Same deal as the phone. Not a contract. An agreement. Phone service at home was terrible. Took the whole mess back in less than 7 days. Their save the sale lady took back the hotspot and charged me a "restocking fee" of 35.00. If I had returned it in 3 days there would gave been no restocking fee. Hmmmmm...I couldn't return it in 3 days....hadn't even received it from Fedex. The young lady never said that the agreement was really a contract and they would bill 175.00 early termination charge. Service continues to be horrible. Phone very low quality. Called and spoke to Justin, a supervisor in their Georgia office. Explained situation. He told me would note my account that I would return the phone, no restocking fee and charge for phone would be negated. Went back to office and spoke to a supervisor Craig. Explained situation, poor quality service at home, poor quality phone and the "agreement" not a contract per his sales guy. Craig said no notes on account, nothing he can do for me. I told him his company's service was very poor quality and his sales guy was a liar. He promptly kicked me out of the store. Funny because I wasn't even yelling. So, today I get my final bill. My "agreement" has a 175.00 early termination charge, a 40.00 activation fee, for something I never took out of the box AND was billed...or should that be BILKED..... A restocking fee. So, for poor, poor quality service and a poor quality phone that was 90.00 on the internet...and 1 month of service, my total charges will end up being a hair under 500.00. Amazing case of rape and pillage by the lying corporation Verizon Wireless. So, will be YELPING, BBBing and FCCing verizon as well as telling 10 friends to tell 10 friends about Verizon stiffing/lying, playing semantics games with an old lady. read more

Today my husband and I went into Verizon to purchase a new phone. Prior to arriving, I called in to ensure they had the phone I was looking for, and spoke with Bishoy. He was kind, friendly, helpful and addressed every question I had beautifully. Once we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile, firm handshake and excellent customer service. Once he grabbed my phone from the back, he thoroughly explained all of my accessory options, and various ways I'd be able to lower my monthly payment. I wish I could give negative stars to this store. Oscar, who said he is the manager, (what I question ) has zero knowledge and so rude. For almost 45 min was on the phone with Verizon at the same time while talking to me trying to answer my billing questions keep saying that I should talk to them cause in the store they don't have access to what the billing department had. I did call billing department twice and they told me to go in the store where they can give me better explanation than over the phone. This store has so many issues, it's hard to know there to start. However, it's easy to know where to end: Jeremiah. This "manager" has no business working in customer service, and acts like his last name is "Verizon", seeing that he thinks he can create his own company policy. We went in to swap a phone. We had ordered an iPhone 5s and an iPhone 5c delivered to our home. Before it came we decided we wanted two 5s and called Verizon. They said to go to the store and swap it and there would be no restocking fee if the unit was still sealed. When we got there Jeremiah refused to honor that, even when a call to Verizon verified the information. Then he refused to accept my military ID for identification purposes, even though it's a federally issued ID and Verizon does accept them. He told us both "Verizon might accept them, but I don't". Apparently he is bigger than Verizon? They went on to program the wrong number on the phone, even after I verified which number I wanted in the phone and they wrote it down. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store as long as Jeremiah works there. He is rude and thinks far too much of his role in the Verizon organization. read more

Avoid this place. Avoid time Pedro. He was rude and lazy. He didn't want to help us after we were ready to upgrade. He claimed he could not assist with our new phone activation. He wouldn't help transfer our contacts and what ever was in the cloud, or even assist with enabling bluetooth. After explaining my phone had been stolen the night before he lacked the empathy and technical support we expected from Verizon. We went to the Victorville location instead to make our purchase and seeked proper customer service. The rep there names Yosh assisted us with EVERYTHING we had needed help with and set up the new phone. I complained to the manager at the Hesperia store. She was sorry that we had to drive to another store to get the upgrade and assistance. She claimed she was surprised that PEDRO acted that way. I am sure this was usual behavior. I will Contact corporate to make sure this is addressed. No one should be treated like this- we are seniors and this treatment was u acceptable. This is a horrible store. Don't believe or trust anything they say. They told me I could get 4 free accessories. The sales rep encouraged me to get the "fit bit" and their power pack even though I said I didn't need it. His response was, "but it's free". Then I got slammed with a $400 charge at the end of the month. When I went into the store to talk with the manager, her response was "nothing is free". She wouldn't let me return the items because it was past their 14 day return period. Such bullshit. Everyone needs to file a complaint with the better business bureau so that these stores practices can be investigated. They're conducting themselves illegally. read more

I always go here with my girlfriend to see if they have any deals and most of the time they will lead you on until it's time to checkout with your new phone,iPad,accessory etc and then tell you that the deal was already expired well then why the hell didn't you tell me that ahead of time before convincing me to buy it...... This review is for Verizon service, not the store itself. Until any other provider can produce the coverage and service that Verizon gives I am a Team Verizon all the way. I have been with them for 8 years and have yet to have a problem they couldn't or wouldn't solve. I wish there was a negative five for this store. I was looking for a phone and a plan and everything was going relatively well until I get to the part where I pay. These guys tried to rip me off to say the least when they added an additional installment to my payments with no explanation whatsoever. The plan was a 24 month plan and all in a sudden I was FORCED to pay a 25th installment without been told it was an additional payment of $129.00. Won't help with a simple question about a phone and how to do something on it. They tell you to go to Best Buy. Paid a bill and 2 days later had people from Fios show up at my door and said I scheduled an install when I was at the store. Unfortunately this is the closest location so I am forced to go here but I always dread it cause they talk down to customers unless you are there to buy a new phone then they are all nice and helpful. If you are in the market for a new phone... do yourself a favor and walk a few extra steps inside Target and get a phone from there. This store is AWFUL. We switched service providers from AT&T to Verizon, Fernando, the sales rep helping us convinced us we were getting a great deal on two new iPhone 6s, and told us he was going to throw in two cases and two car chargers FOR FREE, so we should feel free to pick out any cases we liked. Then a month later we receive a bill for over TWO HUNDRED dollars. When we called to correct the obvious mistake, the manager told us that we were wrong, she would do nothing about the bill, and she wouldn't let us return the items we didn't want in the first place. She was unbearably rude, and obviously looking for any loop hole to get herself out of the situation. The thieving liar of a sales man apparently duped us into to buying over two hundred dollars worth of accessories by telling us they were free! We then called the corporate office, the woman there told us they gets hundreds of these calls a week! So Verizon lets their sales reps lie, cheat, and steal whatever they can from unknowing customers and then does NOTHING about it. What a disgrace. The corporate office will be getting back to us about whether or not the ridiculous amount of money for the accessories will be taken off our bill tomorrow morning. I can't believe this is how a corporation does its business. Be very wary of any sales person in a Verizon store and make sure you check, double check, hell, quadruple check every thing you sign. I resigned a 2 year agreement in Las Vegas and thought I would try a droid mini. The phone did not work for the first week . I was told that Verizon would overnight a SIM card they did not. I went to a store the next week to get the card. After a week I knew I did not like this phone. When in my car it changes from my car speaker to the phone speaker intermittently and I can't get it to stick to just one. It constantly pings when in the car trying to access my car computer a game i downloaded played for a few weeks now will not come up. I tried to take it back to Victorville store and was told I was 2 days past the 2 week (not 30 days anymore) return policy. I called customer service and they said since the phone did not work for a week I could take it into a store and exchange it for an I phone. Not so the Hesperia store refused to honor this. They looked at the narration on my account like it was a joke. My sister works for the public utilities commission and she said to try to settle it with corporate before filing a complaint. Good luck getting a hold of any one who can do anything because the corporate number is just customer service. I have 3 phones on my account , spend thousands of dollars a year, pay my bills on time and have been with them for over a decade. The only way to get good rates and customer services for a minute anymore is to change companies constantly. There is no incentive for loyalty. Also I have spent a lot of time (hours) going to these stores, and on the phone time I will never get back. I'm on hold now with a customer service rep who is trying to help me 34 minutes so far and this is not the first time. read more
