Had a great experience at the Dewey ave Verizon yesterday. I had originally started my new phone search at the Ridge Road Verizon location back in September. I was planning on doing my business there but yesterday they were closed. I am glad they were! Because it brought me to the Verizon on Dewey ave where I worked with a great sales man named Joseph Langer. He was very knowledgeable and down to earth. He also was very patient and positive when we ran into some issues with my old phone. He was awesome! I would 100% recommend this Verizon location and Joseph Langer. read more

I had a sudden issue with my phone that was incredibly frustrating, so I came here to try and resolve it. I was greeted by Joseph Langer, who ended up being the best Verizon rep I've ever worked with. The issue, while complicated and frustrating for both of us, was resolved and I walked out with a new phone and a very positive experience. Ciera was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had gone to the Verizon retail store on W. Ridge Rd and had terrible customer service. They acted like we were bothering them. Highly disappointed. The Sales person straight up lied to me and changed his story a couple times during our transaction about my new plan and was too busy on Facebook and figuring out how he was going to get home that night rather than set everything up for me correctly. He entered my credit card incorrectly for the auto pay plan and I had a late payment because of it - luckily I caught it and Verizon financial didn't hold it against me. I was at Dewey Ave.last week and dealt with Chris Penna and Jake Ladd. They stayed one hour past closing time to make sure our upgrades were right. (We upgraded at another store and the Sales Associate there made some major mistakes because he was in a hurry. These mistakes would have caused me to change my phone number.They never came across as aggravated because they were staying late. They seemed very sincere about wanting to be sure I was happy. If they didn't take the time that they did our phones would not have worked right. I am not sure who others have dealt with there but ask for Chis Penna or Jake Ladd I am sure you will be happy. read more

I went in earlier today to get some questions answered about saving money on my existing Verizon wireless account. I had talked to customer service over the phone that morning and had some lingering questions, so I decided to stop into this store location on my way home to talk to someone face-to-face. I'm sorry I did. The sales guy saw me come in and disappeared into the back for a few minutes without acknowledging me. I though it was a bit odd, especially since there was only one other customer in the place, and she was being helped by another employee. After waiting, sales guy comes up to me and apologizes for making me wait and asks how he can help. I told him I had questions about my plan and he said we could have a seat and talk about it, then quickly turned and walked over to his desk and mumbled his name while his back was turned. Since I didn't catch his name, the only identifiers I have is that he had gelled-up Elvis hair and an arrogant demeanor. But whatever, some people just don't jive when they meet, so I set aside my displeasure at his rudeness and took a seat. After that it got worse. Every question he asked me, he interrupted my answer, trying to hurry me along. When I told him that all I really wanted was to see if there was any way I could save some money on my plan that would be comparable to what I would be saving with competing carriers, he all but rolled his eyes. He explained to me very condescendingly that the plan I wanted was "special" and I would have to go to a corporate store to get it. But then without making eye contact, and very tongue-in-cheek, he said that they would "hate to lose such a high calibre customer like me." Ok, bro, so you hate your job and hate catering to the customer's every whim and you can only make it through the day by being a sarcastic jerk--I get it. So find another job then. I came in with questions, that's all. I didn't even want to switch carriers because of the hassle, but now I am seriously considering it simply because I'm so sick of dealing with schmucks like you at every Verizon store. It's not just you, it's a systemic problem with their customer service. And for what it's worth, I AM a superior customer. But thanks to you I'm now a dissatisfied superior customer. read more

I really like this store because you can sit down at a desk and actually talk to someone instead of standing at a counter and being rushed out. All the staff are sharply dressed and friendly, as well as incredibly knowledgeable about the devices and plans. The store manager, Adam, is always very welcoming and recognizes me every time I come in to pay my bill. I will never go to another location because this one has everything I need! If you want a full experience, including education on your new phone and hands on guidance through out the entire process, this is the store for you! read more

I wouldn't even give this location a 1 star if I could give them Zero! I had seen the hot spot for internet usage and decided to get one since I no longer have cable and internet service. I told the guy what I would be using it for and it seemed to work well. Boy, was I surprised to find my 2nd bill at more than 2,000 dollars! There is a limit to how many Gigabytes of data you can use a month and this was never explained to me. I immediately stopped the device and called Verizon and was told to go to the store, where I was told to go to the main Verizon on Ridge Road. There I was told to call their 800 number where I talked to several different people and was told that they would call me back the next day. I never heard from them and now my bill is $2411! That is with the device not even on! Don't let this happen to you! I am continuing to fight this and we shall see what happens. The reason I stopped cable was because I thought that it was too expensive! Hah---160 dollars is a heck of a lot better than 2411! read more
