Prompt service, friendly staff, and easily resolved our issues. One of the better stores I have been too.

A few years ago when they put in the antenna we had so much trouble with our internet and couldn't get a good worker out here. My son ended up fixing the problem. That was a few years ago. I am hoping to have more work done like this last job. If I can continue to get work done like this last job done by Keoni, then I will give a five star review.

Most of use had Rise (line of sight) connections that were spotty and very unreliable. Nextlink showed up and put in high speed cables and everyone was pleased with them and I switched over as nearly everyone else. Well, the install was poor and I'm on the 100mbps plan and the best I can get is 30-60mbps, which I'm still happy with. However the worst I get is 1mbps and it frequently just drops to zero for no apparent reason. Over the last 4 years I've had about 4 techs come out and evaluate and finally switch out all the surface equipment. It's comical how one tech can say the previous one didn't know what they are doing. I have close to 50 submitted tickets. Still unresolved. I should have cancelled but there is no alternative. I think they put in the bare minimum of infrastructure and got over subscribed. The NextDoor App even had a Nextlink Rep on there promoting the first year, but has since closed his account due to backlash. This company only exists until someone else comes along. Attached screenshots of my current speed today.

Customer service is the worst. They came out to bury the fiber, I told them I wanted it 6 inches…read moredown so when I aerate my lawn the fiber line would not be damaged. They only we down maybe 2 inches. I called to have the bury it deeper and all I got was a run around. I told them that when I aerate and the fiber line is cut all the repairs are on them not me. Update Customer service called and had 3 techs out within an hour, they reburied the fiber line to the depth needed. It took a lot to get it done and thankfully they finally responded.

If you're considering switching to Fiber First, my advice is simple: wait (or better yet, don't)…read more The sales process was polished. Everything that followed was the exact opposite. We were promised faster speeds, a static IP, and a lower monthly bill. Since both my wife and I work from home, we specifically requested a Saturday installation to avoid interrupting our jobs. The installation never happened. The installer couldn't complete the work because of a conduit blockage. Two days later, a construction crew arrived, never knocked on the door, never explained what they were doing, trenched through my front yard, and cut my existing internet line while I was in a Zoom meeting with my employer and my wife was teaching a live online nationwide class to 1000+ people. Our internet went down instantly...and remained down for days. My wife then unexpectedly encountered a worker inside our fenced backyard because no one had informed us they needed access. He could not communicate with us in our preferred language. The crew left. No installation. No internet. A trench through my yard. Then the phone calls began. More than 20 calls later, the answers rarely changed: "It's been escalated." "Someone will call you." "A contractor will be there in 10-14 days." Those promises came and went. The salesperson told me to purchase a specific router before installation. The installer later told me it wouldn't work and had to loan me another router instead. As I write this review, the temporary cable is still laying across my yard. The one exception was Laura in customer service, who actually took ownership of the situation. Without her, I honestly don't know if we'd even have internet today. What frustrates me most isn't that mistakes were made. It's that fixing those mistakes became my responsibility. Every meaningful update required another phone call from me. Every promised deadline passed. Multiple appointments set only for them to "no call, no show". Every step forward seemed to require the customer to push the process along. There was no meaningful apology, no service credit, no discounts, and no acknowledgment of the disruption to our jobs, our property, or our time. A company should be judged not by how aggressively it sells its service, but by how it responds when things go wrong. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fiber First.

Please if your…read morefamily has medical realted or other critical reasons why establishing internet service is essential make sure that you have a back up solution while you wait for install or choose another provider. Reliability to meet commitments is not something Frontier understands. We were trying to establish new service in an area of town where new lines needed to be installed by their 3rd party contractor. After placing the order several weeks ago and calling twice the pervious week to make sure that work would be completed....the day on stall nothing...no update no information about when service will be connected. When I contacted Frontier on the install day to get a more exact time for the installation I was told the work had not yet been even assigned to a tech because the external work was not completed. No call to update me that the service install would fall off schedule and that we didn't need to have someone take leave from work to be available. Customer Service can't provide the name of the 3rd party or a number to seek an update. The worst part of the customer service experience is the utter lack of accountability and consideration for their customer's time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told it is impossible to be I could connected to a supervisor. They would need to call me back in 24-28 hours. When I asked who their agent's supervisor was they didn't know. The customer service agent has no way to transfer the call to a supervisor in the call center? Really? I'm sharing my experience not just to warn potential customers in my area but also with the hope that this review makes its way to CEO Nick Jeffery or Charlon McIntosh, Chief Customer Operations Officer. The answer is simple, meet your commitments or have the decency to not blame the failure on your 3rd party sub. Communicate you will not delivery as promised, say your sorry and reset expectations so your customer can make other arrangements.

Worst internet ever, often doesn't work, slow, kicked off…read more Techs are lazy, odd and the one that services my area is a definite liar Brittany , a customer service rep is rude. This company has a weird process They got my name wrong, billing wrong and didn't care at the on- going issues it caused Techs always late if they show at all Will call to reschedule or try to not come out I hate this company - because of their poor service , I stay at work longer to finish projects I could do at home I can't watch a movie all the way without constantly restarting my router Don't even try to use 2 devices My apartment building, Village in Rowlett, only allows this provider, so I am stuck But this company is the reason I will move from a place I love. Many people here complain, recently we were asked to complete a survey about our satisfaction with this company I hope a change is in the works Wish I could give negative stars

---PROBLEM SOLVED--- Managment was helpful…read more.. would give them 0/5 if I can. This is the worst internet ISP you could get. DO NOT use them, I said again DO NOT use this ISP, you have been warned. 1. I am using the 25 Mbps plan which is the fastest and most expensive plan they are able to provide, and I constantly get between 18-23 Mbps which is fine if it is reliable. BUT it is not. I get disconnected at least once a day, mostly twice a day between 6PM - 12AM. 2. Ping issues, I play lots online games after work and during weekends and watch lots streams / Netflix etc, when I should have 50-60 ping from my gaming server, I get 80-90 at 70% of the time, 15% I get a normal ping, and the rest 15% I get 100+ ping. It is such an unacceptable performance and I cannot play the games at all with those high pings. 3. Customer services, I called many times to tell them about above issues but all I get is ignorance or they told me they will call me back in 24 hr which they never did. Secondly, when I opened acct with them, the sales rep told me if I use my own modem I could save $10 a month, when the tech came to install the services he told me the company NEVER EVER allow you to do that, so you can let me go now or you will have to pay the modem lease fee. When I call them about the ping issue or disconnections, they kept asking me to get protection plan or pay the tech to check their own equipment. I start to think this is pre-planned setup how they make money off on maintenance. After all, I am going to switch to CenturyLink next month which does not have a good reputation either, but at least every time when my internet is down I am able to search the Wi-Fi around me and they are from CenturyLink, so I am going to give a try even it is so costly because I have to pay the activation fee and truck roll again...but I am going to pay them because this is much I cannot stand with BlueSky/Ghost Fiber. Btw, I am an active duty soldier who is living in Killeen, TX (Ft Hood)...stay away from this company if you can....
