I bought a jet pack from Eric at Verizon on Owen road today. He told us that it would give us about 30 hours of playing fortnight. My grandson played for about 5 hours and got a message saying that all the data was used up. Eric now says that he never told us how long it would last. Verizon wants us to pay a $50 restocking fee. They don't care that Eric lied to make a sale. NEVER use this Verizon again. I wish I could offer them negative stars Ok yesterday a supervisor was supposed to contact me. Never did. Not only is this man an American Hero (we thank him endlessly for his service) but he is just on point when it comes to customer satisfaction. He went beyond what is expected in helping me find the perfect phone (4S - duh). He wasn't concerned with commission or with upselling, he gave me the facts, made sure I had the right contract, showed me how to use the thing - he even asked his boss for a local fish market recommendation (Fish House on Saginaw (I'll let you know)). I would never go to this store again. Met at the door by an associate and had a mask on and did not let me into the store and was RUDE TO BOOT and would not help me with the purchase that my wife made at this store. We have a problem with a tablet and all he did was to give me a phone #. My experience with tech support always turns in to a 2 hour call. The purchase was made at this store and it appears to be a problem with the case that they sold my wife. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. They do not show up as an authorized verizon dealer. read more

Got to this store around 4:30 to exchange my 87 year old mother's phone. We put our name in and we're told there were five people ahead of us. We killed about an hour and a half then came back to wait. There was a young lady in there that had been waiting a long time and was getting frustrated. We saw her go up to one of the employees and say something, next thing we know the employee told her she had to leave because she'd cussed. No one else heard it, she wasn't making a scene. He called the police and was apparently more focused on that then the many customers that had been waiting for service. At some point we were told we were next, there were no customers being served so I explained that my elderly mother had been waiting close to three hours. We were invited to sit at the service desk the employee disappeared and did not reappear, I left a note indicating that we'd be switching carries. I won't be returning to this store. First off, requested from the Salesman a $179.00 Samsung phone and he tried to 'up-sell' me by bring out a $369.00 phone. Second off, allowed me to leave with my new phone without informing me I had no way to charge it. This is due to the fact that you now get with your new phone a cable that has the USB-C on both ends and no 'box' to adapt it to the AC outlet. I came back the next day and there were 2 customers waiting their turn and the sales girl recognized me from the day before. I told her I was surprised I was sent off without a way to charge my phone and would she please give me the box. She asked have you signed in yet and I said I had to get back to work and she informed me it would be 2 day shipping and I said that is fine, I could not wait. She asked my name and I told her then left. Never received it and when I called back on the 3rd day the salesman that answered asked if I had paid for it. I informed him I did not and she did not request that and I assumed the store was providing what I needed to charge my new phone. He said well if I did not pay for it then it was not sent. Hmm, you would think she would have discussed this with me and never even bothered to call. Very unprofessional, all of them that I dealt with, and none took accountability for a product they sold and benefited from selling. read more

Verizon Customer service is one of the worst I have EVER encountered. I never write reviews but this is a total Scam and people need to be aware. I have been trying to return a phone since July. I called to get the box shipped several times each time not receiving one. On my last call Verizon customer service stated I was to late and had no notes that I had been calling. after 40 minutes of hold and discussions and getting a manager they got me a fed ex label that I had to wait a 1.5 hours at the store to get. I have called 9X (I documented it) spent over 8 hours of my time between going to the store having the store even try calling and waiting on hold for over an hour just to talk to someone. Verizon felt my time was worth a $50 credit. After all the calls a box showed up at my door this week even though Verizon had no notes of one ever being ordered. read more

liars, liars, pants on fire. my wife and I, both verizon customers, went into fenton verizon on 4/28/16. we had just purchased two new verizon phones - from walmart - and wanted our phone numbers moved from the old phones to the new ones. the first salesman said he wasn't sure if that could be done but he would check. he returned with two other salesmen and the three of them proceeded to tell us why it wasn't possible. their final line of b.s was "the technology does not exist to move the numbers because walmart had already put a number in them" - they were still in the unopened boxes. they told us if we bought phones from them they could move the numbers and suggested we return the phones for a refund. we returned to walmart and the salesman called verizon customer service. ten minutes later our new phones had our old numbers. must be the salesman at walmart had the "technology" and verizon phone number that the three salesmen at the verizon store didn't have. thank you walmart and shame on you verizon store. i also saved over $60 by buying them at walmart - same phones. read more
