Ask a simple question when dealing with any company that has the Verizon logo posted. IS THIS A CORPORATE STORE? If not, walk quicky to the exit and never come back. These monsters don't ackowledge your presence when you walk in the building. Just join a vague queue and hope someone eventually decides to speak. Beyond that, watch out for the extra fees they tack on for the convenience of being taken for a ride. read more

Why is this store randomly closed at 3:55 on a Wednesday when their hours online say that they are open? The sticky note sign says "went to lunch brb :)" Wildly unprofessional to completely close at random hours of the day and then not even disclose when the employee will return. I purchased a new phone Saturday. It was due here Monsday. Verizon said it was deliver to this store Monday. They never called me to pick it up so I went in today to get it He tells me it isn't here. I check my transaction tracking history and it says delivered. Went to several different stores and finally they called the first store and found the phone. I go into get it and he says I owe him 96 extra dollars plus the 800 he quoted me. Cancelling order as Verizon says they dont charge that and their bewildered. read more

The most basic concept of a business is open and close hours, this location can't grasp this concept however. TWO times I've driven over to return a phone during store hours and nobody is there. I'm not going a third time this is ridiculous this branch can't even stay open during its open hours. Please if management reads this fix this problem, have better training, and be open when you say you are open. read more

Store down right lied about phone plans. Calling Verizon billing did not help, their customer service and knowledge is beyond horrible.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to upgrade my sons 2 phones, and Mohammud was working. He was very courteous, professional, and helpful in setting up the new phones and service. He set me up with a plan that saved me several hundred dollars more than the quote I got from the folks at Best Buy. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for Verizon cell service and/or a new phone. He was the only one working, but I did not have to wait long to be helped. Verizon 800# customer service advised me to call this store directly as I needed a replacement router and power cord. I called on Friday morning, left my phone # and info as instructed, as the recording PROMISED someone would call me back shortly. Well it is Monday afternoon and the call has yet to come in. I had the BEST experience replacing a phone at the Fair Lakes Russell Cellular store last Friday night. Isaac was absolutely amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I had put off replacement for a long time because it's always an arduous process. Isaac went above and beyond to find the best deal and to transfer photos and data (my old phone was really old!). He made the experience I had been dreading, enjoyable! He is an exemplary employee and I would give even more stars if I could. My 76 year old mother went in to change her service over to Verizon on July 4th as well as purchase a Inseego Mifi M2100 mobile hotspot & plan for that. as usual i got snookered into upgrading my cellular service & devices. i called the 800 number & spoke to a real jerk. then i tried live chat & got jerked around some more. so i bit the bullet & went to a retail location. i went in loaded with questions & variables expecting another jerk but thats when i met isaac!! he was PATIENT, friendly & informative!! he spent a LOT of time with me answering all of my questions & walking me through each scenario. i felt heard & understood. i appreciate this quality of service. i would give five stars if they had more product in stock but im confident i will be satisfied with the ones i ordered. thanks isaac! read more

My wife and I were dreading the obligatory phone upgrade when we visited the Fair Lakes Russell Cellular Verizon store. This process is not only painful but stretches our skills and knowledge beyond our limits. What reduces the pain and greatly eases the transition to a new phone is the skills and demeanor of the store staff - which is a roll of the dice. I'm happy to report that Dylan at the Fair Lakes store skillfully walked us through this process with good humor, a kind and patient style and a very accommodating nature. We quickly figured out which plan was the best for us, made our choices as to phone style and accessories, and handed him our phones to transition data from our old phones. We shopped around Fair Lakes for an hour then returned to find all was ready. I can't recommend Dylan at the Fair Lakes Russell Cellular store more highly to those who only upgrade their phones when they absolutely have to. read more
