    This store does not even deserve the 1-star. During my upgrade process, it took more than 2 hours…read moreto complete. I came in and told them I was short on time and only had about an hour to spare, but every 5 minutes I was told "5 more minutes". I should have taken that as a warning sign. I was advised that the phone would arrive in 3-days, it actually arrived in 7-8 days. I return to pick it up, only to find out it is the incorrect one. When I brought it up to their attention, the employee mentioned there was "no manager available because they were on PTO, and that I had to go to a "corporate store" to get it fixed. I decide to keep the phone because I cannot wait any longer and during set-up, I find out the number I selected at the store isn't even the number I picked/was assigned. Now, I have to go to a corporate store to change the number and ensure the changes they made to my plan actually lowered my bill or they pulled some funky business. #TerribleExperience #StayAway #worstcustomerservice

    I had a seriously bad experience at this "Verizon" store, which turned out to be an authorized…read moreretailer--not a corporate location--and the difference in service and transparency was obvious. On April 8, I signed up for a 4-line family plan and was sold an iPhone 17 Pro Max (512GB) for my wife. Because it wasn't in stock, they gave us a temporary phone and temporary line and told us they would order the correct device and call me when it arrived. Fast forward to today: I go in to pick up the phone, and they refuse to give me the model I originally ordered--even though they had it in the store. Instead, they tried to push a different version (256GB) that I never agreed to. This is not a misunderstanding--this is a bait-and-switch. They got us to sign up under one set of terms, then changed the deal later. To make matters worse, they also set up our account incorrectly, opening extra lines without clearly explaining it, which resulted in being charged for more lines than expected on our first bill. Key takeaways: This is NOT a corporate Verizon store, even though it looks like one Promises made during signup were not honored Account setup was sloppy and misleading Inventory and upgrade process was handled poorly If you're considering coming here, go to an actual corporate Verizon store instead. Same thing happens. Showed him the email with the number on it - inquired how to proceed. Guy stares at me deadpan like "what am I supposed to do with that." Tells me it's my problem . I ask what I should do. He says call someone and get it resolved. I step aside and call customer service. Manager sits at his desk listening to me try to get through to a person for 10 minutes - sips his energy drink - can't be bothered to ask if I need assistance. By this time I'm the only customer there with 3 staff. Not one of them asked how they could help or apologized for not being able to help. Manager & guy #1 just go in the back. Even if you don't want to assist, there's no reason to be rude and dismissive. Nice way to treat a 30+ year customer. This is why I'm dropping Verizon services one by one.

    I've always been a big fan of Best Buy and especially Geek Squad. However, I recently purchased a…read morelaptop from Best Buy in May for around $1,300-$1,500. Less than five months later, it completely shut down. As a Best Buy/Geek Squad member for over 10 years, I expected reliable support. Instead, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Repair timeline: I was told the repair would take 2 weeks. It has now been over 3 weeks, and the only update I receive is that they are "waiting on a part." Escalation confusion: Four days ago, I was told the case would be escalated. When I followed up today, a new manager said his manager would escalate it, but I'd need to wait another 3-4 days just to find out if that's possible. Impact on livelihood: I work in defense contracting. During the recent government shutdown, no RFPs were coming out, so I was already on hold. Now that solicitations are finally being released, I can't respond because my laptop is still stuck in repair limbo. This delay is directly affecting my ability to do my job and pursue contracts. Policy rigidity: I asked if they could simply exchange the defective laptop. I was told that's not their policy -- it must be repaired a certain number of times before an exchange is considered. Unhelpful suggestion: A manager actually suggested I "just buy another laptop" to use while waiting. That is not a realistic or responsible solution, especially after already investing $1,300+. No alternatives: I asked if they had a loaner program or any workaround. They do not. After more than a decade of loyalty, I expected better. Best Buy/Geek Squad should recognize the impact of delays on customers' livelihoods and offer practical solutions -- not leave long-term members stranded without options.
