Terrible experience as a new Verizon customer -- had to wait in to the store twice for the same issue (couldn't receive texts), and neither time did they fix it. In fact, the second time they didn't even properly finish the troubleshooting. And to top it off, a staff member gave me the wrong number to call for technical support, which led to me being on hold for over an hour. Definitely not happy I made the switch to Verizon; can't believe this is how they would treat a new customer. I am writing this review for one reason alone - Paige. Give that woman a raise. Paige is smart, capable, HONEST, and relatable. I stopped in to Verizon for help on an issue getting data added to my plan, and Paige listened, sympathized, and went above and beyond to not only fix the issue, but to get me a new SIM card to make sure it doesn't happen again. I am SO happy I stopped in when I did and got to meet Paige. She is an amazing part of the team. I cannot recommend enough - Paige, Paige, Paige! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been hung up on 8 times and when I did finally reach someone, I prepaid for my device and had it sent to the store. Even though I am a signer on the account, had the receipt and my ID, they would not give me the phone because the other signer was not with me. I have had the worst experience ever with my new Samsung J7. Yesterday I took in a new one because the old phone had a software problem and I kept getting errors. My husband and I were in the process of merging our personal cell account with a new business account when Covid caused the store to close down. Our service person, Alex, promised he would see it through even though the store was closed. We were told not to worry and he gave us his cell number. We ended up being billed for 2 separate accounts, over $400 in one month. Alex said, don't worry, I can adjust it when I get the accounts merged. Then he stopped returning our calls. I made numerous calls to the business Dept. at Verizon, and after no less than 5 hours of telling our dilemma to no less than 5 people, over a period of March-May it was finally resolved by a corporate manager, but it was extremely stressful and we felt let down. I don't understand why this store would leave open orders unattended to and let us have to deal with the aftermath of fees which I had to fight to have resolved.very disappointing. read more

One star is generous. I went to the Verizon store yesterday in Encinitas CA on El Camino Real. I needed to upgrade my iPhone SE, which had passed the 2 year contract mark a few months ago and was on fumes, with barely any battery and lots of shutdowns even at 20% power, etc. A week ago I had visited the store, looking at phones and had waited in line 45 min. when I decided I had had enough and left. No one even helped me or acknowledged my presence. I had reluctantly decided on an iphone 11. The employee who checked me in could not have cared less. I told her I couldn't wait as long as last time. I told her I needed to have the store do the transfer of data. She said she couldn't control how long I might have to wait & the data transfer was really easy & I could do it at home. I explained that I am not a techie. So easy, she insisted. funny when I asked her where the microphone icon was on the displays it took her 10 min. to get back to me. She doesn't use iphones, she laughed. Haha. Another person helped me with my purchase. I took the phone home & have been trying for close to 2 hours to do the blinking&*$ backup & data transfer. Dozens of id and password recoveries later and a complete locking of the new iPhone, I'm ready to yell at the Verizon store for employing such apathetic & ignorant employees. Shame on you! Run away from this store! The managers should be aware of how off-putting their employees' lousy attitudes are. Still can't use my new phone. Really easy, right? GRRRRRRR! read more

Verizon Wireless prepaid customer service is by far the worst group. I have spent over 1 hr trying to update my plan only to be Advised to disconnect my current plan and reconnect starting with the new plan once I found out that it would take a couple days due to Verizon cellular towers not working I opted to go with AT&T at this point Verizon tried to tell me my cell phone was locked and they could not do anything and when I tried to port my number they would not port my number unless my phone number was activated trying to get another months worth of service out of me they're very scandalous and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I went in to purchase a new Apple Watch 3. Everything was going good until we left. Lexi (Alexis) rushes through the process of setting up my watch and failed to do it right. For 4 days my watch wasn't working. I called Verizon 2 different times and went into a different store to get it fixed and was told that it was the watch and that I would need to return in to the store I purchased it at. So I called the store and explained so they would know ahead of time and instead of being helpful they were extremely rude. Lexi had answered the phone and when asked who set it up and I told her herself she got defensive and blamed me for not knowing how to work the watch. Explaining that she did everything correct and that I should have read the owners manual or googled how to fix it myself. I was livid and said at this point I'd just return the watch and be done with them! I ended up calling Verizon again and speaking with 2 workers who took the time and helped me fix my watch. To fix it i had to reset the watch and repair it because Lexi didn't it wrong the first time. I will not be coming back to this store and if I do I will not be getting my assistance from Lexi! read more
