Went in a few days later and purchased a charger, phone case, and screen protector WITH the protection plan. My charger didn't work from the get. Went back to the store to exchange it for a working charger and was told bc I didn't have my receipt they couldn't do anything AND Joe was no longer with the company. A young lady with a bad attitude, name starting with an A, told me to give her 48hrs to try to locate my receipt in their system. I gave "A" three days before I called up there and was told their system had been down. They've had no luck. Give them some more time and they'd call. The next week, still no word from anyone, so I popped back in. There, I was told "A" was no longer with the company (I can't even make this stuff up) manager, we'll call "P", said he'd personally be on it. Took my name and number down, STILL not replacing my damaged charger AND I needed a new screen protector put on due to a cracked screen. Nothing was done that day bc THEIR employees didn't put it into their system under my account?? Left very upset but tried to be patient and trust that "P" would make things right. After two days I tried to contact "P" bc he clearly forgot about me or hoped I'd go away. Went back up to the store at 10:30am to be told from a worker in the parking lot that they couldn't get into their building, "you'll have to come back". So I did later that afternoon. A different lady "helped" me as she made me wait for 20 min (there was no one else in the store) to tell me "P" was in a meeting. He never came out to help me. She handed me a new charger and screen protector and says, "P" ate this for you, just know if anything happens to these it's on you". Being a customer with AT&T for 10+ yrs and paying them more than enough money each month, you'd think things would have been handled differently. Absolutely disgusted. One star bc I had to.

I picked two watching under the pretext that they were part of the BOGO sale. The man even told me how great of a sale it was at he was sad that he was single and didn't have someone else to give the second watch to. I went through with the sale and that was it. I usually just pay my bill online and kept it moving. I happen to actually look at my bill and realize I'm being charged for the second watch, I call AT&T and they tell me that the watches I picked were never part of that sale and since it's outside of the return window. In July 2025, I…read morebrought my MacBook in because the screen was broken, and I was charged over $500 for a replacement. After the repair, I noticed they did not install an authentic Apple screen. Instead, they used a cheap aftermarket screen that did not even include the MacBook logo branding that normally appears on startup. Only a few months later, the replacement screen completely failed. In November 2025, the computer suddenly shut off and the screen went black despite the laptop not being dropped, damaged, or mishandled in any way. It had mostly been sitting untouched. When I contacted the store, instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, I was told that "MacBook cases can sometimes cause screen damage," which makes absolutely no sense considering the circumstances. For the amount of money they charge, customers should expect genuine parts, quality repairs, and accountability when something goes wrong. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel misled about the quality of the repair I paid for.

We went to see if we could talk to someone in person. We were fortunate to get a young man named Reece to help us. It was his first day on the job. What a great young man he was - so patient and did everything he could to help us (even though I'm sure he would have appreciated if we were purchasing something) . We spent a long time in there, as they couldn't find many short cuts to customer service either. But we did get to know that he is a unique, hard working young man and we actually had a lot in common. He even gave us his phone number in case we ever needed him for anything (rest assured if we are ever needing anything from Verizon we will use his number). We also appreciated that the manager came over a few times to make sure he was doing the right things. I wrote this because we actually live in Richmond, VA and our experiences from the past with Verizon is usually understaffed and everyone hurrying you along. It was a breath of fresh air and we appreciated feeling like we mattered in a society that sometimes make you feel like you don't.

He had to call someone in order to make an even exchange of a charger, which seemed odd to me. He continued to help me and said that the jet pack would be $50 then $20 a month. I filled out all the paper work, paid, and was getting ready to leave when he got my attention again. He said "Oh by the way, Verizon might put a $40 activation fee on your account but just call us and we'll waive it for you." I was shocked that I was just being told about this now after I had already paid and signed the paperwork. I figured if he said they'd waive I they would have to honor it if I got charged so I didn't think much of it besides to check the bill when it came in. I got home and tried to test the jetpack and the SIM card would not fit into the jetpack. We came back the next day and dealt with another guy, whose name I wish I could remember because h was very helpful. He replaced the jetpack because Christian gave me a non-functioning one, and informed me that they did not have the authority to waive the $40 fee and that I would have to call Verizon if I ended up getting charged. I did get charged but I called and they took it off. Overall the only thing wrong with this place is the guy I worked with, Christian. Everyone else was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

My transaction was a simple drop-off so I just let it go and left, but I left annoyed and unsatisfied with the service I received. This is the second time I have witnessed this person act this way toward a customer, so I don't think is an isolated incident. I will no longer go to this store and I will also think twice before using UPS for my shipping needs.
