Please do not buy your phone here. Awful store! I should have checked the reviews before I went. I paid the full amount ( or so I thought) and purchased iPhone 14. I was told that my phone would be automatically unlocked 30 days after the purchase. I'll check back more than a month later and I was told by Verizon that my phone was still locked and that I was actually in a contract which I was totally unaware of Without my knowledge, The representative at the store had signed me up for a contract and kept a unpaid balance of 36 cents which was to be paid over 36 months at 1 cent/ month. I never review anyone, but this store was so bad and gave the worst customer service of any phone store I ever dealt with. I upgraded my wife's phone to the latest iphone 13. The store gave us the wrong phone with additional memory that was $110.00 more, and never mentioned it. They also charged us $40.00 extra that they never mentioned to transfer data from one phone to another. They did not give me any paper receipts for the purchase and said they would email them to me, but never did. My wife said she noticed when they gave us the phone, the box was not sealed, so it might have been a return already. So i called after weekend and asked about why my verizon account was showing a more expensive phone and what exactly did they charge me for in the store. The young girls that work there were unable to help me and said they would have the manager call the next day with the details. She never called. I tried to call a few more times, and was always told that no one could help me and the manager would call me back. No one called. I called again and said you gave us the wrong phone and then they said I could return it but it would cost a $50.00 fee. I spoke with Verizon and they said they could not help me since the store was independently owned. they never returned my calls and did nothing to help. They are rude twenty somethings who might treat thier friends nice but no one else. These people do not care about you or any semblance of customer service. Make sure you go to an actual company owned Verizon store and avoid these scam techniques and over charges. Remember that this store is part of an independant national chain and not an actual Verizon store. Just stay away. read more

Tried to return and cancel a Phone that was purchased from the store and the gentleman with the big buggy eyes was very rude with the short haircut. He really should get some manners and come and speak to in front of me instead of walking around like an idiot. But I guess that's why we have this so we can let off steam instead of making a fool of ourselves in the store. So you can purchase phones there but you cannot return them you have to go to another state which is Danbury Connecticut. So unless you want to just buy a phone and never have to deal with these people when it comes to warrantee your service or returns I guess it's OK if you want to put up with their disgusting attitude. read more

I went in to see if I could get a replacement SIM card. Everything in my phone is pristine, but I was getting NO SIM messages, which would kill my service. The rep at the store dismissed me immediately, and said it wasn't a SIM card problem. He also said he would charge me $10 for a new SIM card (which I have never heard of). Instead, I left and went to the Verizon Wireless store in Mohegan Lake. They gave me a new SIM as soon as I explained my problem free of charge and couldn't have been nicer. If I could give the Brewster store a 0, I would. They were that worthless to me. read more

Steer clear of this store no matter what. I've had nothing but problems. I purchased two I-phones and two year warranties to go with them. The warranties were supposed to be emailed or snail mailed to me. They were not. No explanation or apology was given to me upon my return to the store. Recently, I added international coverage for a specific period when I expected to be abroad. The store completely messed this up and I was charged as of the date of the store visit. After wasting an hour on the phone with Verizon to clean up this store's errors, I decided to add this review. WOW! I can't believe what I just read below about this particular Verizon Store. I've been a loyal customer for years here and I have never encountered any problems as the ones mentioned below. I've bought many phones and accessories from various employees over the years and everyone that has helped me has been responsive and very helpful. When I met Steve, the current Store Manager, I knew he was going to be my cell phone go-to guy! Steve has gone above and beyond his duties for me and my family when it comes to replacements, warranties, data help, repairs, upgrades, and even silly questions without any hesitation. He always gets back to me quickly and solves any issues that may arise since I have several phone lines on my one account. Stay clear of this store. Two years ago I bought two phones on separate occasions at this location. Sales people were wonderful. Not sure what happened, but the sales people are very disinterested in helping and try to get you out the door quickly. The salesperson helping me had trouble with my IPhone order. Said the person that originally placed my order was not good with paperwork and was new to the store. Not sure how this was my problem. Sales person did not go through the insurance nor did he offer to help set up the phone. Apparently, they work 12 hour days and were too tired to help me. Because the service was so poor, I had him cancel the order and went to the Apple store in Danbury. I received much better service there. Also, salesperson at Verizon in Brewster charged my credit card twice instead of crediting it. I'll never go back. Go to a different Verizon store!! read more
