On May 20th, I stopped in to Verizon store 8454330500 to see what could be done with my brother's phone, as it was stuck in the boot up loop. I was immediately waited on by a customer service representative named Theo, who was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. I explained that my brother was old school and only used it as a phone. Theo quickly diagnose the problem and suggested a number of options with costs for each one, and highlighted the option that would be best for my brother ( and me!) Traded in our old phones using Verizon's offer for the "5G" network . What we got--the Verizon "1G" or one bar and told to use our internet to make calls with the threat that being able to keep our new phones with the "deal" meant there was nothing we could do. Wrong. This was a $1200 disaster. Came in just for new service. Got the pitch for free new phones along with it. We had perfectly good phones. Me: "What if the service isn't good, do we keep the phones?" Them: "We are so confident that you will like Verizon that you can keep the phones." Son after signing up, called the rep up and said the coverage is non-existent where we live and its right inside the city center. Them: Use internet calling. Turn off 5G. Oh, yeh, there is an area in that part of town that has no coverage. Me: That's where I live. Them: Oh, just hang on, they're putting up new 5G all the time. Me: What happens when the power goes off and I can't make a call through the internet. Them: ...Crickets... Called back again a couple of months later. Me: Coverage has not improved. Them: Oh, let's send you to our tech people. Me: (On hold for a while.) Explain all previous conversations. Them: We'll check the coverage. By the way, your call sounds very clear so your coverage can't be that bad. Me: I'm calling through the internet. Them: We'll send in a super urgent request for a service evaluation and contact you again in a couple days. No contact in over ten days. Went in to let them know that I was done with Verizon. Them: That's ok, sorry your service didn't work, but you'll have to pay for the phones. You'll be getting a bill in the mail. And sure enough I have the bill: $1203.16 read more

My fiancé and I have been through so much in recent months with Verizon and cellular sales. Cellular sales being the problem, we are looking to speak with a regional director or someone higher. The management workers that we have spoken to, have given us no resort whatsoever but to seek higher administration for this mater. They have accused me of trying to steal phones that I have purchased from them when I called to complain that my bill was larger than their sales consultant had promised, we were swindled into keeping the new phones by the manager and sales consultant telling us to wait until our next bill to arrive. We were promised they would fix our bill but instead, they have given us attitudes and accusations of us trying to steal the new phones that they gave us and will not return. We have been in contact with them for over a month and when we finally got into contact with the "managers manager" Michael Mobilia. (Jesse lapolla sales consultant, manager I spoke with multiple times promising to solve this was Anthony Duvone) before I spoke with Michael we had spoken to a customer service rep over the phone, she offered two different solutions and requested only one of them which was immediately Denied. We then got in touch with Michael who right off the bat, in the beginning of the call after I said who I was, immediately says " oh yes, I am the one that denied your claim no way" and tell us he believes his employees that we were trying to "get phones for free" no, we wanted to give the phones back and receive our old phones. All this without looking at our Verizon records and cellular sales calls from the last month and a half trying to figure out why the sales consultant showed us a monthly price, telling us if we got the phones and traded in our old phones we would save on our bill and it will lower the monthly payments. Instead of lowering the bill it skyrocketed up from 155$ to 220$. I'm very appalled with the cellular sales customer service and the experience that we have went through. Not a single nice person in that chain. And not a single person came true to their word. The first manager (Anthony duvone) promised if the sales consultant (Jesse lappolla ) couldn't figure it out that he would take care of it. Then switched off that promise suddenly then starting accusing us of lying and being thieves( him and Michael Mobilia both) we would not waste our time on this if we were in the wrong. Now cellular sales is in the wrong and are trying to disregard and disrespect us and we will not tolerate such disrespectful behavior from administrators or managers whatever they are. read more

I did not intend to purchase the new iPhone in my trip thinking that I could not afford it. However, while upgrading my boyfriend's phone, Rebecca informed me that I was eligible for an upgrade and it would actually drop my current monthly payment. I paid the balance for my current XR and plan to connect a new line for my daughter's birthday and got the new iPhone 11 for myself without increasing my monthly bill and ITS PURPLE!! Thanks to Rebecca I got a brand new phone and wouldn't have know that it was an option had she not looked into it. I have been a Verizon customer for years and although they are pricey, I believe you get what you pay for and I cite my one and only experience with another carrier, Sprint, which lasted exactly 24 hours. I had "switched" in a misbegotten attempt to save money and still maintain coverage as I had with Verizon. The Sprint sales people sold me a bunch of nonsense when it came to coverage. I went to my home in Poughkeepsie and received only one bar on x- not even 3g. Then I had my wife attempt to call- no call went through. Back to Verizon I went and Stephen took care of the whole mess, explained everything in great detail, and hooked me up to a new iPhone. What a difference when you are engaged with a pro who knows his job top to bottom. Yes you may pay a little more but you get a ton of good in return. I especially like the store- it is heads and shoulders above going to Best Buy or the Verizon factory store on South Road. You will not be sorry. Best customer care and service in the area! read more
