But they failed miserably Summer of 2024 with a water heater installation. I will not use the plumbers anymore. At the end of this heating season I will have some decisions to make!

DISHONEST: My Landlord had my underground oil tank removed…read moreand replaced with an above ground. The work was done by Taylor. The new tank was filled with the oil in the old tank, which I had paid for, and there was over 60 gallons left since the new tank was smaller than the old tank. There were 3 employees present, sitting around joking while the surplus oil was pumped into a tank in their van. I asked what will happen with my oil and they said I would be given credit for it. Several months later called to see when I could claim that credit and was told that since I didn't buy the oil from them, that they wouldn't be replacing it. I was essentially told that my 60+ gallons that was taken by Taylor would not be replaced. As former law enforcement, this is called a larceny since my property was taken from me with a promise that I would be compensated for it, and then when I inquired about the compensation, it was denied. I wish there was a choice of stars less than one. They don't deserve even that.

Upon entering you are very warmly greeted by the young lady at the front desk and every employee that walked out into the waiting area also said hello and were extremely friendly. I was given excellent service with a minimal wait time, at an extremely fair price. I personally am glad I tried this shop, as they now have a new customer for any future automotive repairs or any towing needs. Give them a try and I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about. I wish I could give this company ZERO stars, as that's exactly the amount of help they provided me!…read more On Thanksgiving Day, I drove from my home in New Jersey to my In-Laws in Westchester County, NY. As luck would have it, the transmission on my Chevy Silverado gave out a mere two houses away from my In-Laws. I immediately called AAA to arrange a tow back to NJ to my dealership to have the truck diagnosed & serviced. AAA referred me to Cars & Carts and we had a conversation about the tow. Since it was Thanksgiving, I felt terribly about asking someone to come out & tow my truck, so I arranged with the owner (or boss) of Cars & Carts to have the tow done the next morning between 8 & 9am. The gentleman's name was Dan and I thanked him for his assistance! Here is where the entire experience went side-ways. At 9am, there was no word from Cars & Carts, so I phoned them and spoke to someone named Jay, I believe. Jay told me they had a tow that went late, as the person didn't show up for 45 minutes. I asked why that would have affected my tow, since I was first in line from the night before. Jay's explanation was a lot of gibberish and he assured me they'd be to me by 10am, "at the latest"! Well, 10am came and went, with no word from Jay, Dan or anyone at Cars & Carts. I called again at about 10:15am to inquire on when the driver would arrive to me and was told that they had an "emergency call" that they had to take, as it was a priority over my tow. When I asked why they would take a call instead of saying they had no truck available, I was again met with gibberish and a none too coherent excuse. So, here I am now waiting for 3 plus hours for a tow, all the while stalling my In-Laws departure from their home, as they were to leave for an 11 hour drive south. Finally, I decided I had to leave so my In-Laws could as well. My last correspondence with Cars & Carts ended with a new person, Daniel, telling me that Dan would call me very shortly to arrange the tow and that I could leave the keys with my truck and they would pick it up soon. I then left to drive home to NJ, having borrowed one of my In-Laws vehicles. At 1:30pm, after hearing nothing from Cars & carts regarding my truck, I called AAA again and made arrangements for another Tow company to get my truck. RDM Towing & Recovery arrived within 30 minutes, got my truck and called me with an ETA to my dealership in South Jersey. At 5pm, Jesse from RDM called me and sent a text of the invoice, after having dropped my truck at the dealership. In closing, I guess it was a good day after all, as I found a terrible company that I can warn everyone about (Cars & Carts) and an incredible company that I can share with everyone (RDM Towing & Recovery)!
