I only giving 5 star review, because of employee who did try his best to help me with issues i had with Verizon service. I did try to reach customer service for 3 days, but customer service works awful,they not picking up phone for 1.5 hours and sometimes for 2 hours i need to stay on a line and after they pick up the phone, they hang up you. Went to pay some of my phone cost. Amazingly there was only one customer and three associates. Hallelujah! I took a chance on walking in and didn't make an appointment so I was happy. Informed by associate Kevin that I could not make a payment towards my phone, only pay it off. They also don't take cash for payoffs , only credit card payments accepted. Payment cannot be split between two credit cards either. So many can'ts. You can payoff your phone on the My Verizon app. Click on your phone and select buyout is what I was told. Pretty sure it's buyout. Kevin's tablet quit working as he was navigating my payoff. So he tried to show me on his cell how to do it on the app. However, his cell wouldn't allow him to show me how to do this so I asked him to continue doing it for me on a new tablet 'thingy.' After it was done, a text was sent to me confirming my payment. Not sure I like all the rules and the can'ts but it's done. And Kevin was friendly and helpful. read more

The "I don't care" attitude from the employees is astonishing. Employees are not even trying to appear as if they are interested in the issue that brought you in. As soon as they understand you're not there to buy something from them, they are in a race to figure out how to get rid of you. When after being totally fed up with complete lack of empathy or interest of the employee to even attempt to figure out the issue I came with I asked what is the reason the store is there if the answer to all of my questions are "call customer service", I got the following reply: "To sell stuff and to let you air out your frustration in a public setting". I didn't even bother asking for a store manager as I'm sure this behavior is a "company policy" - other customers in the store were also treated like second class citizens. Really, Verizon? I am on the same page as so many other of the people who reviewed this place. I purchased about 5 years ago a phone & tablet, great and helpful place then. I walk in and greeted with why are you here? I don't know, to get my nails done? Dylan will take care of you. Dylan could have cared less, only made eye contact once. Apparently there were only two phone choices out of the copious ones in the store, either $800 or $1,000, he asked have I been on the website. We never really talked about a new tablet since I could not wait to get out. Horrible customer service and I do not know why this location is kept open. Although warned from everyone not to go to BB, I went, the kid was helpful, explained things and suggested models based on my needs. Arrived at 4:30pm earlier today, a security guy greeted me kindly outside. Inside, there were at least 7 employees. As I walked in, they looked up at and went back to doing what they were doing. Some were behind computers while some were talking. I felt ignored. I approached a lady and asked if she can help me transfer contacts to my new phone. She said sure no problem and just when I hand her my iphone5, she immediately told me she cannot help me. I was shocked. She asked me if I have the "new" iphone cord with me and if I came back with it, she can help me then. Why would she expect me to carry the cord? Shouldn't they have the cords? 'This made no sense to me. I was send away very unhappy and confused. Later, this made me upset. It is very inconvenience to go home, get this new iphone cord, and make a second trip to the store to perform a simple task of transferring pictures and contacts. There must be a better way. With new phones coming out, Verizon store should be equipped with the latest technology to assist their guests. Apparently, only accessories are stocked for sale and not for use. No stars for you Tried to add a line. Had 2 prepay lines already setup. They couldn't get the phone to work on the system. I paid for the new line but it said my funds were short before I finished the first prepaid month, within a day of activation, actually. After a couple days struggling with Verizon phone support, I went to this location to request the new line be removed and my money refunded. Without telling me, the fat guy at the door applied the balance to one of the two lines disconnecting my auto pay. So my main phone wasn't paid and lost service. Verizon never notified me. It was people who tried to call me relayed the message that Verizon put a message telling people the line was not active due to nonpayment. So much goes through WiFi that I didn't notice the outage right away. Verizon doesn't notify you if you are behind on your prepaid plan. Trying to drop Verizon and switch phone and number to another carrier is being blocked due to a fraudulent lost/stolen tag on my phone that Verison initiated the day after I tried to start service on T-Mobile. They tell me I will lose my number of 20 years if I don't pay them for another month of service. Talk about shake down! Local 'corporate office' is a fast place to get a transfer pin. But it doesn't work because of the fraudulent stolen phone tag Verizon has applied to my phone. I'm using my 'lost phone' to write this review on WiFi. It's like Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. I tried to email Verizon as they recommend, but that note, they put here only so YOU might think they are actually trying to straighten out this situation. I started at 8 yesterday morning with a call to Verizon, because I could call out on T-Mobile, receiving was blocked by Verizon. Ran around back and forth between Verizon and T-Mobile all day. T-Mobile finally got a code to work only to find out that Verizon now lists my phone as lost/stolen. Links to register your account to login lead to messages that say the service is temporarily down. But I found that the service was NEVER up. If you aren't registered you cannot chat online with Verizon reps. If your phone isn't working, you cannot call from a number that is not in the Verizon system. There is no way that I have found to get past the entry bot on a non Verizon phone on the 800-922-0204 number, the only number they give out. And the person at the corporate office near park meadows tells me I must use one of these two methods that are unavailable to me to try and get Verizon to unlock a phone that I bought directly from Sprint 30 months ago. Again. They list my phone stolen if I try to transfer it. I don't owe them anything. But they can make it work if I pay for another month. It's a shakedown game they play. And they warn me I will lose my number if I don't pay up. But my phone has not fully worked since 12-22-22 when I switched service providers. Now it is unable to work on a phone system at all after spending 8 am to 6 pm going between Verizon and T-Mobile, only to have T-Mobile tell me at 5 that Verizon has listed my phone stolen. I talked to Verizon at 8 am and they didn't mention that it was listed stolen. I talked to reps throughout the day and nobody told me that my phone was stolen. Here it is in my hand. Been using it for 2 and a half years. DON'T START VERIZON THEY WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE WITH YOUR PHONE AND NUMBER. read more

We are brand new Verizon customers. This store (6735 S Cornerstar Way Aurora, CO 80016) had the phones we wanted in stock and our Verizon representative arranged for us to pick them up there. If we were unable to pick them up in 3 days, the order would cancel and we could choose to have the phones shipped to us instead. My husband was called out of town on a business trip and we were unable to pick up the phones. I called the Verizon representative to let her know we'd like to have the phones shipped instead. Before she could change the order, I received an email that our phones had been picked up. We had not picked them up. We discovered that instead of canceling the order, the store created a "force buyout" on our account and falsely noted that we had picked up our phones. This seems at best incompetent and certainly dishonest. After an hour on the phone with Verizon corporate and several attempts trying to contact the store, the issue remains unresolved. We cannot reorder the phones until Verizon corporate corrects the store's mistake. As brand new customers, this was not a good first impression. read more

Arrived to the store at 4:28pm seen a rep help two (caucasian women) outside. As I try to enter the store I was greeted by a gentleman name Ian who put me on the list to be helped next. All I needed was to purchase a IPad that's it! Then when the rep outside had finished with the two ladies and he went inside while pulling a sign into the store as it was about 5:00PM and I asked if I would be still be helped and he said let me check to which at that point I believe Carlos the GM came outside and said that he would help me but had to have me wait outside and was going to lock the doors to which I replied no problem but not understanding why I had to wait outside. Then a African American gentleman approach the door saying he needed to pick up his phone. That the store he purchased it from sent him there and that online it says they didn't close till seven which is the regular hours. He tried asking the gentleman who was Carlos the GM if he could just please grab his phone because he's going to be out of town and won't be here tomorrow. I said that how could you be close I see you have customers inside still I just need to grab my phone it's already been paid for. To which the GM Carlos replied I'm going to call the cops. Not sure why he had to involve the cops. The gentleman was being very calm, wasn't banging on the doors or window just wanted to get his phone. He never cursed nor raised his voice. Not sure why they had to call the cops nor make myself or the other gentleman who are we are both of color wait outside but seems pretty racist to me. You work at a Verizon store not a bank. And I feel like you only have to call the cops if you feel that your life or the Store is in jeopardy which was neither. I then received a phone call from the store saying that they were unable to help me or allow me in the store due to the gentleman that wanted his phone mind you it is now 530pm and I've been waiting outside for an hour. The GM did not call me as he had Ian call me and wanted to reschedule an appointment or till him what I wanted to buy. Needless to say the store felt like they had to call the cops because I was irritated for waiting an hour and was extremely frustrated over the phone. As well as the gentleman who wanted his phone. This store and the persons working there make me want to leave Verizon to which I've been a customer for over 10 years! I was upset that they wasted an hour of my time but more upset that it seem to be pretty racist. I guarantee if the gentleman and I were of Caucasian skin color we would've been treated differently. This is very disappointing Verizon. If you are of color or a different ethnicity I highly recommend you not visit the store because I do not believe all of their employees at this location Will treat colored customers equally. And trust me I understand the situation with COVID-19 and the rules and laws to which they can operate and this was no issue. read more

I think Verizon has decided to get out of the wireless business so they are working hard to get all of their current customers to switch to a different carrier. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. But I called and asked simple question about dropping off a defective phone and could not get a correct answer. My wife"s iPhone has a bulging battery that we just noticed due to the phone case. They said too bad you are out of warranty you will need to buy a new phone at full price. I walked over to the ATT store which is 100' away. They said we will buy you out of your contract get you all new phones, and your new bill will be less than your current bill. So right now just waiting for the iPhone 8 to come out to see what they have for offers. Better to switch than fight. read more

One day, I went in with questions about using my cell phone on a trip I'm taking to Iceland. I was hoping to buy a SIM card in Iceland and use the service provided there by Vodafone. They were unable to answer any of my questions, and unwilling to do any research, other than the cost of their service if I chose to use it while there. And, those prices are way too high! Then I went in today to buy a new phone. I have 11 days left on my contract. I had communicated with the corporate office and they approved my new phone purchase early. This store would not accommodate me. They were going to make me pay full price for a new phone. The person helping me, I believe it was Michelle, even went to the manager and they still would not let me get the phone early. read more

If I have to go into this store one more time to fix a mistake that their associates made on my bill I swear to god I am going to freak out! My fiancé and I came in here to get new phones on our existing accounts. We also decided that it was time to merge accounts so we had him added to my family plan. everything went fine on the first visit. We had to go back a week later when we discovered that the sales guy effed up our contract and we were being charged for a ton of extras and not for the family plan set up. So they "fixed" that. We went back 1 month later when our first bill arrived when we discovered that some of the things they "fixed" last time were still showing up. We spent 30 minutes with the manager cleaning up our account yet again and getting a credit for the extra charges. Dan was a Godsend. He helped me get a new IPhone 6s, set it up and showed me how to do some things I did not know how to do. He helped us lower our bill. He stayed after store closing to finish up. He was so nice and great to work with...we were actually thinking of leaving Verizon for another carrier but he made the difference in our decision. This particular location has really nice and helpful staff but there are very few of them, All I needed was to transfer my information from one phone to another (they weren't compatible and needed the machine they use). He was so kind and understanding towards my situation and even fixed my phone for me. A couple weeks ago Verizon just turned off my phone. Service disconnected. They claimed I had gone into a Verizon store and requested the service be turned off. Of course I hadn't been anywhere near a Verizon store since I got the service. They wouldn't tell me which store I had supposedly gone to. I managed to get the service turned back on just long enough to port the number to T-Mobile. My Verizon service had been month to month, so there shouldn't have been an ETF (which I verified three times before getting the service). Regardless, Verizon charged me two ETFs. The first for when they turned off the phone by mistake and the second for when I switched to a non-sucktastic carrier. The good news is that after two phone calls (both over an hour) with customer service the charges were credited back to the account. But that doesn't change the fact verizon essentially tried to defraud me. It turns out the reason I was charged an ETF was because the salesperson (the same guy who assured me there would be no ETF) entered into the system that I had purchased a phone, when in fact I had brought in an old one to reactivate. So he told me there would be no ETF (and no contract) and then entered a contract into the computer system. I guess he wanted the commission for the sale. I found out later this is the same salesperson who promised my father he could return a phone if he didn't like it with no restocking fee, only to charge $35 (more then 3x the T-Mobile restocking fee) to restock the phone. The staff at this store will lie to you, and Verizon will cheat you. read more

Standard VzW store, nothing too good or bad about it. Good selection of accessories and the staff is friendly. When compared to the Parker store a few miles south this location is fine dining. If you have a choice come to this store instead. Parking is pretty bad right out front, but there's a big empty lot behind the store. I did some online research and based on my options I decided to go to the Verizon store at Southlands. They had 5 to 6 employees that all seemed eager to assist. This was a Saturday soon after opening. The person who helped me was great and clearly explained why their buy 1 get 1 Samsung Note 9 for $1000 offer was NOT a cost savings for my situation based on the monthly cost. She did help me select the LG G7 which was around $750. If you go Verizon, go to the Southlands store. read more

This store has the absolute worst customer service. My family has been faithful Verizon customers for over ten years now and you would think that with my almost $200 a month that I spend, they would at least try to act nice. Most phones I have had came with a little bit of pre-charging so the technician in the store can get everything set up. My wife's phone was fine but my phone did not turn on. Instead of them seeing a problem, they said to just go home and charge it and set it up myself so that they could go home for the night even though we had already been in store for an hour, at least, waiting for our turn. After a full night of charging and switching out multiple outlets and cables, the phone still did not work. I called today at noon (same store) and spoke to Bill. Bill told me over and over that he "[didn't] know what to say." He was abrupt and rude and seemed to not care that I had a problem with a device that I purchased through Verizon. Not very helpful customer service in my opinion. I then called the Southlands store and spoke to a very helpful woman who walked me through the entire process of what to do. She even recommended I call the Apple store to see if the could help. The Apple Store was very helpful and set me up with an appointment so I can get my phone replaced. Verizon is overall a very professional company, in my opinion, and I would recommend them to anyone. But this Cornerstar store needs some serious re-staffing and new management. If you are looking for a store and this one is closest, it will take a little more time up front, but save yourself the future hassle and severely sub par customer service and drive the extra fifteen minutes to the Southlads store where Michelle or any one of the other employees there will surely be helpful. I walked in to add two new lines to my business account (immediately I was stereotyped in my gym clothes) a rep walks up to me (uninterested, her face was screaming "LEAVE, I DONT WANT TO BE HERE"), I let her know I want to switch my two lines from Sprint that are Apple phones to Samsung phones and also have an ATT line that I'm canceling and will need a third line on my business. I don't know much about Samsung but I did expect SOMEONE in the store, working with sell phones to be knowledge on ALL phones. At least iPhone and Samsung, I mean, come on! Nope. No one. They couldn't find my business account, and they just didn't have answers to my questions. What good is a service if the people representing that show the complete opposite? I mean, not even the manager was helpful! He didn't even want it to be known he was the manager. So embarrassing. Verizon, if you want to "be the best" have the "best" represent you. In addition to being fast, she was one of the most friendly customer service industry employees I've met. She was also very kind to my toddler and set us up with a better data plan. But we were there because my friend cracked her screen. The people who came in 3 behind us for a cracked screen got helped right away. Had to trade my Samsung Note in twice at this branch because of the recall. The second time I traded my Note phone in for a Google Pixel. A charge for $996. showed up 3 months ago. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone and had multiple conversations with "supervisors" to get this charge removed for swapping phones per Verizon's order. Every time I was told it was taken care of. Just received my new bill and it still hasn't been fixed. This is also impacting my credit as it keeps showing I am $996. late every month in paying my bill. Do not do business with Verizon. read more

This is my first time visiting this location. I've never had a worst experience with a verizon stores untill today. First of all, I walked in and not one person greated me and just stared at us for a few seconds and looked away. I'm not sure if I looked young or I was asian, but this was the most unexpected treatment I've had. I've been with verizon for over 10 years and the treatment I received today was the worst!. Eek is right, I should have stayed with AT&T. This store has been above and beyond the worst customer service I have ever had. After being greeted by the big guy, I wait and wait and wait...you get the picture. Finally after 15 minutes my original salesman emerges. Justin is his name and lying is his game. Not only did he lie about the trade in value of the phones I brought in, he also lied (and has continued to lie for 5 months) about the cost and discount applied to my bill. Ya see, I qualify for a national discount, a nice little perk, or should be. Due to Justin's inability to correctly add the discount I have been over charged 4 of 5 months. When I ask him to correct his multiple mistakes, he refers to his manager. First time this happened, the manager was helpful and polite. By the time third time, I think the big guy at the front door knows my name by now, my foolish salesman refers to his manager again. Only this time, the manager does not even greet us. Mr. Pompous keeps his back to me and proceeds to tell Justin that I have to submit proof of eligibility for a THIRD time to have the discount applied. We did again and here I am for a fourth month, overcharged and relying on the incompetent staff at Cornerstore Verizon to actually fix the multitude of mistakes. Ugh!! Find another store, I promise the drive is worth it for actual customer service. read more
