What a joke. I dropped my iPhone 13 in water, went in for an emergency replacement, and they gave me a loaner until the iPhone 17 release. Fine, appreciated that. But the day after release, I went to pick up the TWO phones I pre-ordered (plus two watches, an iPad, and accessories I already paid taxes on) and it turned into a circus. First, the guy checks the system and says my phones are "in the safe" and I just need to wait 10 minutes. I wait. Then he comes back and says, "Oh actually, they're not here--it's a pre-order, maybe in a few days." Meanwhile, I'm getting Verizon texts saying congratulations on your new plan and watching other people in the store buy iPhone 17s on the spot. So which is it? Either Verizon is lying, or this store is flat-out shady. And when I told them to cancel everything, the first thing out of the guy's mouth wasn't "let me fix this" -- it was "there's a $50 restocking fee." I walked out. Verizon, you lost me. Never made it in. Went on Saturday 7/27/24 to swap out my device. They open at 10am and I arrived about 10:10am but they were still closed and no lights were on, door was locked. I sat in the truck to wait, then find other nearby stores and after 10 minutes an employee walks up, unlocks the door and goes inside. Another customer shows up and tugs on the locked door and the employee opens it and says they're late opening up and can't open fully for about 20 mins due to the safe. We both left. I ended up going to the Auburn store that was larger and seemed more professional on the inside anyways. They took care of my upgrades. read more

This store was not involved in incident. It's the company. I was told that the service with verizon was inexpensive and convenient. They are so confused. I stayed on phone for around 1 1/2 hrs to just disconnect a Fios account which they had been charging me for and could not find the account number. I was passed to 4-5 different agents who had no information and was constantly put on hold. Mind you this was suppose to have been handled 3 months prior. I will never consider this company again even if I had no other choice. Very frustrating to have these issues. Plus the offices of agents were not even US based so there were even communication issues. I'm staying with my original internet service. read more

This store was fun!!! First off I want to start by saying I needed a new phone so bad, like yesterday!! And so I decided to take my one year old on an adventure with me. Needless to say I was really nervous on how this all was going to play out!!! So I decided to hit this location up, since it seemed to have the best reviews. It did not disappoint! There were four people there. Ethan was the first to approach. He was Quick and straight to the point and handled his business!!! My kind a guy!! The rest of the crew, they were so social and had great vibes all around, they made it a comfortable environment for sure! Elijah did an amazing job, he was very patient with us as it took almost an hour to figure out the way though all of our passwords/passcodes we had forgotten. I thought this store was great but I was wrong. I've come into this store twice in the last year and I can see that not much has changed. The first visit was too purchase a new device and the second was too add a line. The salesperson on the first visit who happened to be the manager lied to me, he told me that I could pay off my device through Verizon customer service using my E gift cards that I had received as a switch over promotion. That was a lie, he also said that I could use the trade In I received to deduct from that, also a lie. I ended up having to call Verizon customer service who told me I was lied to by the rep, that I was locked in for 2 years worth of $40 a month device payments and that there was no way around it, and that my trade in would not be deducted from the full allotment owed and that my trade in would be a monthly credit to my bill. I spent hours and hours of my time arguing with Verizon until I made my way up to the executive team who override the transaction and let me apply my e gift cards. On both instances of each visit I told the salesperson DO NOT sign me up for mobile protection because I do not want it, they said okay and signed me up anyways, I found out later that it had been added to my Verizon bill, in each instance now I had to call Verizon customer service to argue with them on how I didn't sign up for it, if you go to this store make sure you check your bill right after because did not check it for 2 months, after I had checked there was 3 months of mobile protection at $20 each which I did not sign up for EACH TIME! Don't make the same mistake I did and deal with these crooks. read more

What could we have done to make your experience better? - Train service representatives to be honest about the additional costs. Is was the worst experience of my life. They changed me $332.00 of extras without informing me. They added liquid and glass protector without using me if I wanted it and charged me $64.99 for each of them plus told me I could not return it even if I did not ask for it to be added. They make their money on tricking customers by adding the add ons so they can make their commissions. The manager was rude and the District Manager would not return my request for a call back or answer my emails. The DM's name is Veronica Kaichevctra and the location is at 8008 Walgera, Suite 500, Antelope, CA 95843. Manager was sitting in his car in the front of the store smoking something and playing his music loud. The girl that scammed me this Cierra P. She called the manager from his car to come deal with me. They also change a data transfer fee of $25.00 that the corporation does not. Cierra did not explain the extras or costs to me. I took my grandmother in to get her a new phone for Christmas, and we were helped by Sarah. The system was having trouble getting the new Samsung activated, but Sarah diligently worked with customer service to get everything up and working. It took almost 3 hours, but everything worked out perfectly! Sarah was patient, comforting, and apologetic (although she didn't have to be, wasn't anything she could have helped). Horrible service, came in to check out their Verizon edge deal and just needed him to pull up my account and see if I qualified. The employee only 1 working by the way, was helping the same person for 30 minutes, I was next and a women behind me trying to pay her bill. After the first 15mins waiting and the women behind came later than me and was only waiting for 5-6mins the employee helped the women behind me trying to multitask while helping the women being helped from the start. Long story short there is no order with who gets helped and if someone keeps asking for every little thing , there's things you don't need to ask for. read more

If possible I'd give this location zero stars. Beyond disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. Previous to my visit, I called and spoke to the manger Lamar. I wanted to be sure making this switch would work for my budget. He gave me a list of promotions, deals and what the breakdown would be for me. I went in, took a few hours. The next morning, I checked my online account and everything I was promised didn't line up. The plan was wrong, the amount paid for the phone was incorrect and my daughters phone wasn't even activated. I went back to the location. Spent another 3 hours at the store. Thought everything was fixed. Next day, same issue. Spent another few hours at the store trying to get everything corrected. Tried calling corporate and was told I had to deal with the manger who had activated my account and made me these promises. Bottom line, took over two weeks, multiple hours and and 4 hours on the phone with a supervisor from the corporate headquarters to semi fix. Turned out the information I was given initially wasn't accurate and basically I was lied to. I'm stuck paying for multiple Devices that I wasn't planning on paying for and paying way more monthly than anticipated. The manager at this location had no idea what he was doing. Wasted 3 days and over 7 hours. Stay away from here. You'll be given the run around and inaccurate information. read more

Horrible, horrible service! I don't know how this store is still in business. I came in here because I had some questions about Verizon over charging me on my bill. I brought all the paperwork I needed and I began talking with the employee, soon after he asked me for additional paperwork that wasn't requested earlier. As I went into the car to grab the paperwork which took approximately 15 seconds he began helping another customer. Well, that customer took 30 minutes and the other employee did not bother to help me either. By then the store was closing so I was basically kicked out with out any help or solution. They told me to come back the next day for an appointment at 4 PM. I came the next day and the employee that was handling my problem the day before did not show up and I had to wait for him for one hour. Once he showed up we give it another shot and he basically told me that he does not know how to fix the problem or how to help me. So all in all I spent over four hours at the store plus a few car trips back and fourth home to get useless paperwork-for nothing. You should not open a Verizon wireless store if you can not handle the responsibilities or have at least decent customer service. I went to the Verizon wireless store on Madison and Auburn and I was help promptly and they take care of the problem within 20 minutes, that is the kind of service I expected. read more
