I recently switched to Verizon because their service continuously got worse and worse. It seemed like they were throttling my internet down whenever they wished. I would call them and complain and then suddenly my internet service would noticeably improve. After I switched to Verizon they had already scheduled a payment to come out of my bank account the following month. I figured they would cancel the scheduled payment and didn't give it another thought,but that wasn't the case. They took the scheduled payment anyway which left me with a credit of around $80. I called them and asked them when I would receive my refund and they informed me that I would receive a prepaid card in the mail that is accepted everywhere. Well needless to say this sent me through the roof. Why should I have to deal with a prepaid card? I need to put this money back in my bank account not use it to buy something. I guess it was really convenient for them to deduct my bill from my bank account but very inconvenient for me to have to deal with a prepaid card when it comes to my refund. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!! They are basically forcing me to spend my refund instead of redepositing the funds back into my bank account. VERY PISSED OFF!!!!!! I will never do business with US Cellular again and I would suggest others avoid this business

I work for a large cable company and you do not tell paying customers that it's their equipment. You get off your butt and come and check the lines. Your customer service people pass the buck and they are inconsiderate of paying customers.

    Came to this Verizon retail store to upgrade our phones! Usually we have not had a stellar customer…read moreservice experience at Verizon Retail stores as the sales person is always pushing stuff we really don't need and always seem to be in a hurry! This time I was proven wrong.... We were assisted by Carlie Padgett, who we had never seen before who was assigned to help us by the store manager! She was excellent from the very start! She even went the extra mile by filling out our rebate forms etc. She was most patient with us even when there were other customers waiting! I felt so guilty for the waiting customers I even apologized for keeping them waiting.... Thank God they were very nice when I apologized! There was a time when one of the Sales people came out of nowhere and tried to update us with a couple of "free" LG Tablets! Did not really work as we knew well there is nothing free at Retail outlet! I hope Ms. Carlie made a big fat commission check on her sale to us.... She certainly deserves it! If you go to this location ask for Carlie Padgett! Always look for Sales Person who are not pushy and keep the Customer needs first!

Matthew was entirely too concerned with making his commission instead of helping his customers. When I told him I wanted the iPhone 7 plus, he spent 10 minutes trying to talk me out of it since he had the 7 regular stocked in store. Apparently "it would be impossible to find so close to the holidays" but it shipped and arrived within 3 days. Matthew never called to tell me it arrived, I only knew because I was tracking the package. Not only that, he insulted me as a customer telling me I was "being foolish" because I opted not to purchase a phone case or an insurance plan through him. When that didn't work he attempted to guilt trip me saying I was hurting him and he had kids to feed (I didn't think anything of it until I heard him use the same line on at least 2 other customers). That is very unprofessional in my opinion. Overall, my experience could definitely have been worse, but I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and got that in a very timely manor. I am extremely satisfied with Verizon as a company and the services they provide, just not the customer service at this particular location.

He said he could have the 2 needed for me and my daughter next week. We came back today and he had several to chose from! He was sooo nice. He was smiley and very polite. So great he said he would find cases for us and he did it! $20 per case! Thanks so much.

    I came to the store last Wednesday (4/13/16) because my iPhone screen had been cracked for two…read moremonths and stopped working. I waited over an 1.5 hours for him to fix my screen. By Friday (4/15) the screen was coming off. I stopped at the shop on Friday and was instructed that I had to come back Wednesday (4/20) when the shop owner returned to have him work on my phone again. I returned on Wednesday for him to fix my phone screen and the charging port (I noticed my headphone jack stopped working when I got home Wednesday (4/13) and the charging port had to be replaced since they're both all one piece). I had to wait over 2 hours but he was able to fix the screen. The screen he initially used was defective and he put a new one on. When he tried to replace the charging port that new part was also defective. So he told me that he needed to grab a new one from home so I would need to return on Thursday (4/21). He stated that the screen was defective so he replaced that and that the headphone jack he try to use with also defective so he had to go home and get a new piece. However, no charge for the port. So I would need to return the following day. I returned today and he is eating lunch and tells me I need to wait 40 minutes. I replied that I got off work early to come get my phone fixed and waited a long time yesterday. He told me to give him 15 minutes and he will work on my phone. I was in the mall for another hour and then he tells me he's charging me for the charging port. WTH?! When I debated with him about how I've had to come to the mall FOUR times because of his defective parts and waited over 4 hours total for him to fix it, he would not budge. I promise I won't be back again for anything and will not recommend them to anyone. Poor customer service all around. No care given for my time I waited and numerous trips I had to make.
