When we went to return our new non working iphones they refused to give us back our iphone 10s actually stole them ( they did give us 75$ for them on the new purchase and then charged us 75$ for a restocking fee for retuning the iphones . So in short they lied about service, return policy, need for new phone ( they work on commission ) stole my old phones and charged me 150$ for the pleasure. I can't think of a more evil greedy corporation than Arch technologies.

As they were doing the transfer they told me I had too many photos and it would take a long time to do the transfer. They asked me if I wanted to finish the transfer at home. I said sure because I'd already waited an hour for them to do the transfer and it wasn't even halfway done. They showed me how to do the transfer at home, but did not tell me I would need to bring the phone back to get the trade in deal, and I left. This mess up was on me, because I should not have left when I paid for them to finish the transfer. When I went back within the hour because I could not figure out how to get the phones to transfer they told me the transfer had been completed. But when I left they told me it was not done... Do they not know when the transfers are done? Not sure where the miscommunication happened on that one. When I got home my Verizon account said I owed $800. I specifically told the sales associate multiple times that I wanted a phone that would be free with my trade in. After driving back to the store and asking why my account said I owed $800 when I told them I wanted a phone that would be free to me, they then explained that it would remain on my account until I traded in my old phone. Why did no one tell me this when I left with my two phones?? Then, after getting the phone my google started saying I had no available storage. My email is saying I will stop receiving emails in a week. The problem is I have deleted stuff in my Google drive 3 times and it still keeps coming back. I was hoping they could help me with that, but I should have known better than to expect an ounce of care from this store. I learned through the Verizon in Waynesboro that when the Staunton Verizon turned on my phone's backup to transfer things from my old phone to my new phone they transferred EVERYTHING, not just the photos. I then went back to the Staunton store, explained the problems I was having with storage, and all the sales associate I spoke with told me was "that's run through google, we don't know how to do that." I responded with "A Verizon sales associate doesn't know how to turn off backup on a phone?" He responded with "That is run through Google." When I tell you these people are doing the bare minimum I'm not kidding. They also signed me up for Disney Plus and other services without telling me I would have to pay after the first month. If you want people who actually know what they're doing, because clearly the sales associates in Staunton are just there to do the BARE minimum and get as much money out of you as possible, I recommend Verizon in Waynesboro, VA. They actually took the time to try and help me. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would.

I exchanged my iPhone 12 Pro for the 16 Pro, it was supposed to be an even exchange. When I got my bill, they were charging me $40 for the new phone a month. They would do nothing about it, although I was told they fired the manager who did the upgrade for me for doing things like this. They told me the only way I could get the phone for free was to upgrade to a different plan, which is $40 more, so I'm still paying for the phone in a different way. The new plan has free Netflix and Apple TV. I do not need those. I would never recommend T-Mobile to anyone. As I am looking at their reviews, lot of people have had similar problems with them.

I recently switched to Verizon because their service continuously got worse and worse. It seemed like they were throttling my internet down whenever they wished. I would call them and complain and then suddenly my internet service would noticeably improve. After I switched to Verizon they had already scheduled a payment to come out of my bank account the following month. I figured they would cancel the scheduled payment and didn't give it another thought,but that wasn't the case. They took the scheduled payment anyway which left me with a credit of around $80. I called them and asked them when I would receive my refund and they informed me that I would receive a prepaid card in the mail that is accepted everywhere. Well needless to say this sent me through the roof. Why should I have to deal with a prepaid card? I need to put this money back in my bank account not use it to buy something. I guess it was really convenient for them to deduct my bill from my bank account but very inconvenient for me to have to deal with a prepaid card when it comes to my refund. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!! They are basically forcing me to spend my refund instead of redepositing the funds back into my bank account. VERY PISSED OFF!!!!!! Trish (an overworked employee with great people skills) made us feel valued, even when Verizon didn't. Victra is an authorized retail dealer for Verizon. Verizon is a giant company with a focus on profit. The call centers are outsourced to save money. The manager held for two and a half hours to get an answer for us. The employees don't have a secret number to get assistance quicker. When I was helping my family member, a Verizon employee (that I held on the phone 45 min to reach) lied about resolution to our pesty problem. Destiny and Trish focused on making things right. If you need help selecting a phone, have a question about accessories or need to make a payment, these two women provide excellent service. If you have a billing question or need to upgrade your phone, you will have to deal with Verizon, who does not have the same attention to detail that this location has. Not all franchises are corporate stores. If you have a complicated issue, ask if you are at a corporate store. Be prepared to wait on hold 30 minutes to 2 hours or more, if you need to talk to wireless customer service. Once you say goodbye to Trish and Destiny, you are calling Verizon call centers that won't identify where you are calling or care the same. "Customer care" is an interesting department. The cost for the repair was just over $100 and if you check in to this location using Yelp, you get five dollars off. The screen and everything else looks sublime and works perfectly.
