Vered took my dark hair to an amazing balayage of blonde, she knew exactly what to do and nailed it the first time. I just let her do her thing and honestly was so thrilled with the result. She is the consummate professional, and I really, really appreciated being in the hands of someone with a great eye. She's lovely, efficient and cool. read more

I found Vered 2 years ago and it changed my life! My hair was the wrong color, and I was using the wrong extensions in my hair. Vered put k tips in my hair, colored it and highlighted it beautifully, and I've never looked back. She is an expert in extensions and her salon is a calm, relaxing oasis where you can watch movies and chill while she does your hair. I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Vered to anyone looking to upgrade their hair. read more

Vered is not only an expert in her field but also has an artistic approach. She knows exactly what look you're going for and doesn't put her own opinions ahead of your vision which is very rare for a stylist. She does exactly what I need and exceeds my expectations every single appointment. She makes the whole process seamless, stress-free and fun and the results are beyond beautiful. I can't say enough great things about her and Vered salon. read more

I came to this stylist under urgent circumstances and, as someone new to K-tip extensions, I relied on her expertise for proper guidance and care instructions. Unfortunately, I was given very little information before, during, or after the installation about how to maintain the extensions or what to expect. From the very beginning, the hair was dry, brittle, and visibly splintered at the ends. This was the condition upon installation--not the result of wear or mishandling. In addition, the extensions have been falling out, which is extremely concerning and not consistent with a properly installed or quality K-tip service. The hair was applied to my head already dry, splintered, and feeling like a wig or over-processed; I was not able to recognize these issues until after it was installed, as I was not shown the hair beforehand. When I reached out for support and clarification, I was met with impatience and dismissal. I was made to feel as though I was the problem, rather than having my concerns addressed professionally. Ultimately, she refused to provide any assistance or guidance in resolving the situation. Throughout this process, I was consistently respectful of her time and approached the service with appreciation, as I understood it to be both a privilege and a significant financial commitment for me. I am not a wealthy person, and this was a meaningful sacrifice that I made out of necessity. I communicated politely and respectfully at all times, and when issues arose, I genuinely asked for professionalism, compassion, and guidance. Rather than receiving support, I was ultimately dismissed and told I was on my own, which was both disheartening and unacceptable given the circumstances. This has been a very stressful experience, especially given the financial investment. I trusted this stylist to provide both quality work and appropriate aftercare support, and neither expectation was met. For those considering K-tip extensions, I strongly recommend choosing a stylist who provides clear communication, proper instruction, and stands behind their work. Additionally, throughout my interactions with her, she frequently complained about her workload and workday, which was both inappropriate and uncomfortable, as it placed an unnecessary emotional burden on me as a client. I came in for a professional service, not to absorb or manage a provider's personal stress. At the same time, I was navigating my own challenges and expected to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. When I raised legitimate concerns, instead of addressing them constructively, she responded by suggesting that no other client had ever had similar issues. Vered's response is dismissive and, gaslighting, it's unprofessional and unethical and immoral.--rather than supported--when my experience was minimized instead of acknowledged. A professional approach would have been to recognize the issue and work collaboratively toward a solution. Hair is deeply personal and, for many women, closely tied to confidence, identity, and even professional livelihood--especially in roles where appearance directly impacts performance and opportunity. Clients seeking extensions are often already in a vulnerable position, navigating physical and emotional stress, and placing a great deal of trust in the stylist they choose. In my case, I was given hair that appeared to be of poor quality, received little to no proper instruction, and was ultimately refused support when concerns arose. I was told that no other clients had experienced similar issues; however, she has multiple negative Yelp reviews that reflect similar complaints. That statement was not truthful, and instead of addressing the problem, my concerns were dismissed. The overall experience was not only disappointing, but deeply heartbreaking given the level of trust and financial investment involved. I honestly don't know how Vered can accept money that is more than my rent from someone who is vulnerable and needs help put poor quality hair on my head, not give me instructions and then shut the door when I calmly and politely asked for peaceful resolution and help it's just truly heartbreaking that she has no conscience and is able to do this. Shame on her. read more

Vered Salon - Hair Cut - Hair Extensions Near Me - West Hollywood, California

I've been going to her for a couple times . Never had this problem. She don't do her job this time and complained and told me that I said she was a liar about not having the same Extentions in my hair as she did last time. She flipped for some reason in a text message .. which I can share if she keeps pressing things like " I came in high " and other personal things ... I came to the salon, trying to get this, just like she did last time and left the salon looking like this. I will never go again. She needs anger management problems. And when I told her that I wanted it fixed, she literally gave me a problem told me to go somewhere else ... I'll spare the rest of the details, but never go here.. I literally was missing half of my hair although she said she ordered the same amount of hair. She didn't want to fix it. 0 STARS read more

BEST HAIR OF MY LIFE! I don't know where to begin. Vered has transformed my hair into what I never dare dreamed of having. The quality of her Russian tape in extensions are unparalleled to anything else out there on the market. NOTHING COMPARES to them. It will be the best investment you could ever make and the compliments won't stop rolling in. Vered is a beautiful person and she KNOWS hair. She is patient and kind to teach you how to care for your hair after she has applied it like an absolute pro! I mean her work is seamless! She is also a whiz with the hairdryer. You will feel like a million bucks after one of her blowouts. And to top it all off- she LOVES what she does which makes the experience so pleasant and has you wanting to return every time. I have sat with so many hairdressers in this town. NONE of them can match Vered's expertise and desire to care for you and your hair. She is seasoned, she is sweet, and she is gifted. Vered is amazing!!! She really knows what she's doing. Vered is so sweet and genuinely cares about the health of your hair. I am new to the extension game. Naturally, I had so many questions to ask Vered during my initial consultation with her. She made the process so easy and smooth and put my mind to ease. My number one thought was will I lose more hair with these extensions? My hair is already thin enough. When I ask her for something specific, she makes sure to tell me the best way to get to that so my hair isn't damaged Vered gives you a step by step guide on how to take care of these extensions when they are in. It's not complicated at all. My hair surprisingly feels more silky and smooth and it's longer!!! Vered gave me exactly what I wanted and made my hair look naturally beautiful, long, thick and "featherweight" I cannot express my absolute gratitude and appreciation. BEST IN THE BUSINESS! If you want to look your best, don't go cheap and with unknown Hairstylist. This is the best place in LA to get your real, amazing, Russian hair extensions. She is extremely laid-back, easy to talk to, is very knowledgeable, helpful and non-judgmental. She made the right call in making sure that we built my hair back up before finalizing the color on a second round. I did not want my hair to melt off like it did before and she agreed. Ever see a woman walking down the street with horrible extensions that don't even match her original hair in both color, blending and cut? That's because she went to someone that she did not research well enough or even tried to do it on her own. Vered is an absolute GODSEND! After getting braids done for Burning Man and not washing my hair out properly I had some insane dreads that had to be cut out, taking my hair from half way down my back to a little above my shoulders. Needless to say I was devastated to have to chop all of my hair, but realized it was a first problem and I tried to roll with my new look. By the second week, I was over it. I couldn't stand waking up every day and barely recognizing myself when I looked in the mirror. I went to Rumble boxing one day and saw Vered's salon across the street so I decided to give her a call. She was beyond helpful and even squeezed me in within the week because she knew it was a hair emergency. The following week I went in and Vered gave me a complete transformation. I was nervous because this was my first time getting extensions and because my hair toward the crown of my head was so short I didn't know if it would be salvageable. Luckily she did a hybrid installation of sew in extensions as well as keratin (or k-tip) extensions toward the top of my hair where the shorter pieces were. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about everything extensions, but she was so sweet and truly helped me feel like my self again within a few short hours. Not to mention she gave a delicious glass of crisp rosé during my appointment which totally calmed my nerves. I left the salon feeling AMAZING. I will absolutely be going to Vered for life and will make sure to refer all of my friends to her! The pictures speak for themselves!!!l read more

It's been over 4 years and I still go to Vered. She's my girl when I'm ready to go blonde. I literally wouldn't trust anyone else in LA to take me blonde, though I did recently have her take me brown and it came out wonderful. And let's not forget to mention her amazing Russian hair ! I recently switched to tape ins and I'm obsessed with the quality and her flawless technique when it come to installing extensions. Thanks girl for always keeping me beautiful read more

I didn't expect much from the outside of the salon but sometimes those are the secret places in LA. I got my hair bleached however she didn't set the timer and left it on for too long, result now: tiny bold part above the forehead. Vered refused to touch my hair in the future or to fix it. Recently relocated to LA from Boston (Chicago, and NYC prior)... I had tape-in extensions from Boston when I came across Vered. During my first visit, Vered updated my highlights and retaped my current extensions. During my second visit, Vered talked me into bonded extensions and I couldn't be happier! I "liked" my tape extensions but I LOVE the natural look of the single strand bonded extensions (Vered does both so have your own pick!). I seriously have someone compliment me on my hair everyday... it's a great feeling! Vered also makes it super easy and convenient to schedule with her... she communicates via text which is good for all of us living crazy busy lives! LOVE THIS SALON!!! You know that feeling after you get your hair re-done and you're walking (mentally sashaying) out of the salon feeling like the fabulous queen that you are? You will feel that *every time* you leave this place, guaranteed. There's a reason there's so much hype about this place. I've been going to Vered for extensions, cuts, and color for years and cannot recommend her highly enough. The owner has been doing this for years and you can just tell that she really knows what she's doing. You just get the feeling that she truly cares about clients, she goes out of her way to make people feel comfortable and make sure everyone has the best possible experience. Long story short it's clear why so many celebrities trust her with their precious locks. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a stunning look and get pampered along with it!! read more

I was referred to Vered by a friend, I was super excited about getting extensions after growing my hair out for an entire year from scratch. I went in for a consultation and she told me 2000$ total. I showed her a picture of what I wanted but the final product I ended up with was my natural hair orange and the extensions yellow. I will add pictures below. Not only was the color completely off, but after a year of growing my hair out she burnt it so badly by leaving the dye on WAY too long. She didn't cut the extensions to frame my face so some hair was long in places it shouldn't have been. She claims she is a fine hair expert for extensions, but why would an expert put bonds so high on someone's head with thin hair..? The bonds were showing so badly. I'm a model so at work the photographer said we couldn't shoot the back of my head, I've never been so embarrassed. After she was done, she said it's going to be 2500$ even after she told me 2000$ total. I am left in tears from such a terrible job, I've never felt so ugly. After I texted her about how I was unhappy with the results and asked for at least half my money back she blocked me on Instagram. Not professional at all. I only had my extensions in 2 days before paying someone else even more money to get them taken out and now I'm left with burnt damaged hair because of Vered. read more

READ THIS POSITIVE REVIEW!! After hours of research and calling over 15 places I decided to go with Vered. Vared's reviews were great but what caught my attention were the amount of pictures with such beautiful transformations and A-list celebrities she styled. All I can say is I definitely made the right choice, I finally found someone who can cut, color, style, and do my extensions just like I've wanted. My hair was seriously a nightmare I had previously done my extensions by the first local place I found and I can't even explain how much more it ended costing me!! I didn't expect my hair to come out the way it did because of how severely damaged it was but Vered surprised me. If I can recommend anything It would to invest in a professional stylist like Vered. You will wish to have met her sooner. I drive over an hour to go to her. That says it all. I refuse to drive far unless it's absolutely necessary. She made it necessary! Thanks Vered! read more

Vered and her salon are absolutely amazing!!! I am a native Angeleno but never had extensions. I decided to get them for my daughters wedding. My hair color was a mess too. I looked at some reviews and happened on Vered by chance. I guess my "hair angel" was looking out for me. I was nervous but she put me totally at ease from the beginning. Then I let her do her magic!! I loved the time I spent with her and she did nothing less than a perfect job! I walked out feeling more beautiful and younger than I have felt for years and receive compliments daily on my beautiful hair. I have to say, Vered is the BEST! I literally don't know where to start. I see her for Hairdreamz LaserBeamer Nano Hair Extensions and platinum blonde root touch-up, and she really knows what she's doing. The health of my hair has improved tremendously ever since I started coming to Vered, and I HIGHLY recommend her for blondes and laser hair extensions. She is the only person I trust with my hair. She fixed my spotty hi-lights to make them look more natural and did my hair extensions at my first appointment. When I first contacted Vered, she requested that I send her a photo of my hair so she could see the condition, length and current color. Since I was short on time(i was getting married in two days) she was very flexible with her schedule and found a way to get me in last min. My second appointment I went platinum blonde and it was perfect. NOTE: It is 100% safe to give her your card info for the deposit, as she requires that to buy the hair and to book out your time in the schedule. So for those of you that are hesitant, it's safe. She also takes PayPal. She is actually known for doing Hair Extensions in 1 hour, so I'm not spending hours getting my hair done and she does a great job with placement and applying the extensions to my hair. I am so happy I found Vered when I did, she saved my hair and made it flawless, and it looks/feels so natural compared to other extension types. I assure that you will agree with me. read more

Update- 7/27: I just got a cut and color by Kelli and I absolutely LOVE it! I've been looking for a cut like this for years. I've already received a few compliments and I just got it cut yesterday! I have been searching for a salon since I moved almost a year ago, and thankfully I can stop looking. The customer service from the moment I called to make an appointment to the moment I walked out of the door was warm and welcoming. I had color done by Kelli and have received multiple comments already; it's super shiny, very natural looking, and feels healthier/fuller too. She was wonderful and not only listened to what I was saying and what I was looking for, but she also explained everything that was going into my hair and gave me some tips to grow out my bangs. I've been going to Vered for over 10 years. Before Vered, I visited many hairdressers then ended up cutting my own hair for many years, because I felt no one gave me the color or style that I wanted. I guess you can call me "particular.' But, I always love the way my hair looks and feels when I leave Vered Salon. Vered is a wonderful colorist and stylist. Her specialty is extensions - which I feel I'm too old to get, or I would definitely have Vered add them. Maybe one day. read more

This review is long overdue. I found Vered on Instagram and I fell in love with her transformations. I called and made an appointment with ease on a weekend (Sunday) which works great for me since I have kids. I sent her pics ahead of time of what look I was going for so she could have the hair ready. Vered was very nice and responded promptly to text messages and put me at ease because I have had bad experiences before with Keratin extensions. I expressed my concerns and after talking with her I felt comfortable in going through with it. Vered colored my hair to get it to the blonde I have wanted and to blend in with the extensions we had chosen. I had a private booth to myself with a TV to watch anything I wanted and snacks as this was going to be a long one. It took a total of 6 hours I believe but the transformation on the end was beautiful. I love my hair and it's almost 3 months now that I've had them on. I took care of them exactly Vered instructed me to (by the way, she is the only one that gave me thorough instructions on how to take care of my extensions). Sure you lose a couple strands here and there but I still have a lot of hair left and it still looks amazing blow dried or tied up. I can't wait to go back to have them removed and put new ones on. Thank you Vered for taking care of me and my fine, thinning hair. I can't wait to see you for my next amazing transformation. I highly recommend anyone looking to get extensions to go see Vered. She truly is experienced and knows what she is doing. I have been to many but none have been as through as Vered or has continued to assist and respond to my texts after the fact. She truly is the best! read more

Kelli at Vered Salon is absolutely amazing. She has done my hair extensions and color and I always leave looking my best! Both her and Vered are very professional and genuinely care about their clients. I had hair extensions put in for my recent wedding and Kelli remembered details I told her about the wedding, my family, etc. It's just like talking to a girlfriend! :) I love everything about this place-- from the location (free parking- woohoo!), to the atmosphere (cozy, lots of magazines, TV which comes in handy for longer appointments) and most importantly, the stylists. They are truly experts at what they do and I could not be happier with my results. Ahhhh-mazing feeling to always have confidence in your hair sylists! LOVE Vered and Kelli. They have done my hair a few times, and I have never been disappointed. Vered seems to stay busy with hair extensions, while Kelli is generally more available to do blow drying. They are both super flexible with the schedule but I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment since they seem to be pretty busy. So far, I have only done blow drying here ($35 per blow out), but I can't wait to get my hair cut here. I have seen a few girls come out of the salon looking thrilled and stunning! read more
