I came to this stylist under urgent circumstances and, as someone new to K-tip extensions, I relied on her expertise for proper guidance and care instructions. Unfortunately, I was given very little information before, during, or after the installation about how to maintain the extensions or what to expect. From the very beginning, the hair was dry, brittle, and visibly splintered at the ends. This was the condition upon installation--not the result of wear or mishandling. In addition, the extensions have been falling out, which is extremely concerning and not consistent with a properly installed or quality K-tip service. The hair was applied to my head already dry, splintered, and feeling like a wig or over-processed; I was not able to recognize these issues until after it was installed, as I was not shown the hair beforehand. When I reached out for support and clarification, I was met with impatience and dismissal. I was made to feel as though I was the problem, rather than having my concerns addressed professionally. Ultimately, she refused to provide any assistance or guidance in resolving the situation. Throughout this process, I was consistently respectful of her time and approached the service with appreciation, as I understood it to be both a privilege and a significant financial commitment for me. I am not a wealthy person, and this was a meaningful sacrifice that I made out of necessity. I communicated politely and respectfully at all times, and when issues arose, I genuinely asked for professionalism, compassion, and guidance. Rather than receiving support, I was ultimately dismissed and told I was on my own, which was both disheartening and unacceptable given the circumstances. This has been a very stressful experience, especially given the financial investment. I trusted this stylist to provide both quality work and appropriate aftercare support, and neither expectation was met. For those considering K-tip extensions, I strongly recommend choosing a stylist who provides clear communication, proper instruction, and stands behind their work. Additionally, throughout my interactions with her, she frequently complained about her workload and workday, which was both inappropriate and uncomfortable, as it placed an unnecessary emotional burden on me as a client. I came in for a professional service, not to absorb or manage a provider's personal stress. At the same time, I was navigating my own challenges and expected to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. When I raised legitimate concerns, instead of addressing them constructively, she responded by suggesting that no other client had ever had similar issues. Vered's response is dismissive and, gaslighting, it's unprofessional and unethical and immoral.--rather than supported--when my experience was minimized instead of acknowledged. A professional approach would have been to recognize the issue and work collaboratively toward a solution. Hair is deeply personal and, for many women, closely tied to confidence, identity, and even professional livelihood--especially in roles where appearance directly impacts performance and opportunity. Clients seeking extensions are often already in a vulnerable position, navigating physical and emotional stress, and placing a great deal of trust in the stylist they choose. In my case, I was given hair that appeared to be of poor quality, received little to no proper instruction, and was ultimately refused support when concerns arose. I was told that no other clients had experienced similar issues; however, she has multiple negative Yelp reviews that reflect similar complaints. That statement was not truthful, and instead of addressing the problem, my concerns were dismissed. The overall experience was not only disappointing, but deeply heartbreaking given the level of trust and financial investment involved. I honestly don't know how Vered can accept money that is more than my rent from someone who is vulnerable and needs help put poor quality hair on my head, not give me instructions and then shut the door when I calmly and politely asked for peaceful resolution and help it's just truly heartbreaking that she has no conscience and is able to do this. Vered is an absolute GODSEND! After getting braids done for Burning Man and not washing my hair out properly I had some insane dreads that had to be cut out, taking my hair from half way down my back to a little above my shoulders. Needless to say I was devastated to have to chop all of my hair, but realized it was a first problem and I tried to roll with my new look. By the second week, I was over it. I couldn't stand waking up every day and barely recognizing myself when I looked in the mirror. I went to Rumble boxing one day and saw Vered's salon across the street so I decided to give her a call. She was beyond helpful and even squeezed me in within the week because she knew it was a hair emergency. The following week I went in and Vered gave me a complete transformation. I was nervous because this was my first time getting extensions and because my hair toward the crown of my head was so short I didn't know if it would be salvageable. Luckily she did a hybrid installation of sew in extensions as well as keratin (or k-tip) extensions toward the top of my hair where the shorter pieces were. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about everything extensions, but she was so sweet and truly helped me feel like my self again within a few short hours. I was referred to Vered by a friend, I was super excited about getting extensions after growing my hair out for an entire year from scratch. I went in for a consultation and she told me 2000$ total. I showed her a picture of what I wanted but the final product I ended up with was my natural hair orange and the extensions yellow. I will add pictures below. Not only was the color completely off, but after a year of growing my hair out she burnt it so badly by leaving the dye on WAY too long. She didn't cut the extensions to frame my face so some hair was long in places it shouldn't have been. She claims she is a fine hair expert for extensions, but why would an expert put bonds so high on someone's head with thin hair..? The bonds were showing so badly. I'm a model so at work the photographer said we couldn't shoot the back of my head, I've never been so embarrassed. After she was done, she said it's going to be 2500$ even after she told me 2000$ total. I am left in tears from such a terrible job, I've never felt so ugly. After I texted her about how I was unhappy with the results and asked for at least half my money back she blocked me on Instagram. Not professional at all. This review is long overdue. I found Vered on Instagram and I fell in love with her transformations. I called and made an appointment with ease on a weekend (Sunday) which works great for me since I have kids. I sent her pics ahead of time of what look I was going for so she could have the hair ready. Vered was very nice and responded promptly to text messages and put me at ease because I have had bad experiences before with Keratin extensions. I expressed my concerns and after talking with her I felt comfortable in going through with it. Vered colored my hair to get it to the blonde I have wanted and to blend in with the extensions we had chosen. I had a private booth to myself with a TV to watch anything I wanted and snacks as this was going to be a long one. It took a total of 6 hours I believe but the transformation on the end was beautiful. I love my hair and it's almost 3 months now that I've had them on. I took care of them exactly Vered instructed me to (by the way, she is the only one that gave me thorough instructions on how to take care of my extensions). Sure you lose a couple strands here and there but I still have a lot of hair left and it still looks amazing blow dried or tied up. I can't wait to go back to have them removed and put new ones on. I see her for Hairdreamz LaserBeamer Nano Hair Extensions and platinum blonde root touch-up, and she really knows what she's doing. They are both super flexible with the schedule but I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment since they seem to be pretty busy.
