From initial phone call to finished hair, my experience with Salon Three and Rebecca was wonderful! The best, honestly! The staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone to find the right stylist for me to book with, and even got me into an opening that happened to open up the next day. I texted with Rebecca, the stylist I would be seeing, and she was straight forward and easy to communicate with. When I got to the salon, it got even better. Rebecca is so nice, and it was clear she knows what she's doing with hair, specifically with blonde coloring and cuts. We had a brief consultation to discuss more in detail what had been discussed over text. She understood exactly what I wanted, gave me a break down of her plan, and confirmed again the price and time frame, both of which were very reasonable. She offered me something to drink as she got things ready with the color. Throughout the appointment, she was asking me questions to get to know me, seemed genuinely interested, and seemed like a friend. It was clear she not only is good at her work, but she enjoys it. My hair was done pretty close to the time frame she gave initially, and it was a reasonable time frame for what we were doing. And very important- my hair is AMAZING! She did exactly what I asked. I am so happy with it! But even so, she made sure I knew she wanted me to love my hair, so to let her know if after living in it I needed anything to be adjusted. I mean come on, what more could you ask for- perfect hair, and made sure I felt I could reach out with adjustments if needed- which brings extra peace of mind. When we finished everything, she gave me a hug and still seemed genuinely happy. She had another appointment right after, but did not make me feel brushed off even to the end of the experience. All around, Rebecca and Studio Three are a blessing. It's rare to find a stylist and salon that do excellent work and also make it a genuinely wonderful experience in every aspect. read more

Hidden gem of a salon! I was in a panic because a neighboring salon scheduled & confirmed me for a day they weren't even open. I was searching online and this came up and was in walking distance. They were SO nice and were able to fit me in. Rosie was the stylist and she was fab. Was chill, friendly, and I loved the end result. I was able to just relax and let her do her thing. I left with shiny, bouncy hair. The place is cute and clean. Overall, I appreciated the welcoming customer service that didn't seem fake. Reception was cool, Rosie was the best, and the other stylist who was in there at the time seemed like she had loyal customers. First time here. I messaged them via Yelp on their day off and they got back to me the next morning with some options, which was nice. The receptionist worked with me to book an earlier appointment with Heidi. I saw a few photos of her coloring but beyond that, didn't know what to expect so I went with it. I got a haircut and a warm tone balayage. It came out pretty but took way too long and I would have preferred not to have my hair blown out into a mom bob but I suppose I was paying for that anyway. I hoped the person doing my hair would clearly see my personality after 4 hours and style me accordingly is what I'm saying. Yes, I anticipated being there for a little over 2 hours max but ended up being there for 4 hours. My hair itself is very thin and incredibly easy to manipulate so I'm not sure what took so long. Heidi was nice but as a previous reviewer mentioned, it felt like a stretch for meager conversation and dated styling. I was waiting to see how it would grow out and it looks a little worse for wear; the color has faded significantly. In hindsight, I should have requested someone more attuned to alternative styling because Heidi just wasn't that person, and she didn't know how to handle my hair. Overall, this place works if you don't have a preference and you want hair that everyone else has. Everyone is nice, they know what they're doing for the most part and they'll take care of you. My hair came out to $370 total, $120 for the cut and $250 for the balayage. My 4 stars isn't so much for my experience but for how receptive and attentive they are overall as a salon, which was appreciated. read more

For the past idk how many years, Samantha has always done an amazing job on my hair. I've never left her chair not loving my hair, especially with respect to my extensions and color. Always looks super natural. She takes my inspo pics and vague, all over the place descriptions and just makes it happen. She takes a lot of care with what she does and knows her sh*t. Nice staff and decent pricing but my haircut did not go well. The experience was fine, my hair looked good when I left the salon, it wasn't until I got home and had to style it myself that I realized they gave me a VERY choppy layered haircut. There was zero blending. Just a couple thick chunky layers that would only look good if I used a curling iron every day. I think this happened because the stylist did a wet cut instead of a dry cut and honestly wasn't super experienced. She is a perfectionist, and will listen to exactly what you have to say, but honestly she gives great recommendations also. Extensions are quick, easy and painless.
