Great stylists! Great location! Great service! Thanks for fabulous haircuts time and time again!

From initial phone call to finished hair, my experience with Salon Three and Rebecca was wonderful! The best, honestly! The staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone to find the right stylist for me to book with, and even got me into an opening that happened to open up the next day. I texted with Rebecca, the stylist I would be seeing, and she was straight forward and easy to communicate with. When I got to the salon, it got even better. Rebecca is so nice, and it was clear she knows what she's doing with hair, specifically with blonde coloring and cuts. We had a brief consultation to discuss more in detail what had been discussed over text. She understood exactly what I wanted, gave me a break down of her plan, and confirmed again the price and time frame, both of which were very reasonable. She offered me something to drink as she got things ready with the color. Throughout the appointment, she was asking me questions to get to know me, seemed genuinely interested, and seemed like a friend. It was clear she not only is good at her work, but she enjoys it. My hair was done pretty close to the time frame she gave initially, and it was a reasonable time frame for what we were doing. And very important- my hair is AMAZING! She did exactly what I asked. I am so happy with it! But even so, she made sure I knew she wanted me to love my hair, so to let her know if after living in it I needed anything to be adjusted. I mean come on, what more could you ask for- perfect hair, and made sure I felt I could reach out with adjustments if needed- which brings extra peace of mind. When we finished everything, she gave me a hug and still seemed genuinely happy. She had another appointment right after, but did not make me feel brushed off even to the end of the experience. All around, Rebecca and Studio Three are a blessing. It's rare to find a stylist and salon that do excellent work and also make it a genuinely wonderful experience in every aspect. read more

After my go-to stylist moved during the pandemic, I have been struggling to find my new salon. I am SO glad that I visited Samantha at Salon Three! I have been uninspired with my hair for the past year. Ive been lightening it for years, but lately it's been feeling so dull and lifeless that I figured maybe it was time to just go back to my natural hair color. I came in for a color consultation with Sam and in 2 minutes she told me her plan and I was sold. I got an appointment the next week and am thrilled with how it turned out! I didn't even have to show a reference photo, Sam is truly the best! read more

Made a last minute appointment this morning for a haircut. Sam, accommodated my time as I needed something early in the morning. She was above and beyond professional and super friendly. I told her what I was going for and she gave me a suggestion on the type of cut I should get to make my hair look fuller. The cut and so came out amazing. I am definitely going to be returning to her later in the year for maintenance. Parking is easy in the neighborhood mid morning on a Friday. Can't say the same on weekends. read more

Decided to cut my hair on a whim and wanted to try a salon closer to my house. I'm really horrible at providing any detail on how I want my hair cut but Cassy was amazing and did exactly what I wanted with little to no help from me. I also really appreciated not having to make small talk and just being able to relax in the process. I know some people really like making conversation but I really enjoyed being able to nap... lol and also read a book. Will definitely be back and am so happy with my new look. read more

It's so hard to look for a new stylist after a move. This was our first try so I wasn't going to get my hopes up. Well Rosie surpassed all expectations. We love our haircuts. But more importantly we love Rosie. She's easy to talk to and doesn't mind quiet. She understood us right away and made us feel comfortable. There's no need for us to look for another place. read more

Hidden gem of a salon! I was in a panic because a neighboring salon scheduled & confirmed me for a day they weren't even open. I was searching online and this came up and was in walking distance. They were SO nice and were able to fit me in. Rosie was the stylist and she was fab. Was chill, friendly, and I loved the end result. I was able to just relax and let her do her thing. I left with shiny, bouncy hair. The place is cute and clean. Overall, I appreciated the welcoming customer service that didn't seem fake. Reception was cool, Rosie was the best, and the other stylist who was in there at the time seemed like she had loyal customers. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stylish option, that also has the friendliness of a neighborhood establishment. read more

First time here. I messaged them via Yelp on their day off and they got back to me the next morning with some options, which was nice. The receptionist worked with me to book an earlier appointment with Heidi. I saw a few photos of her coloring but beyond that, didn't know what to expect so I went with it. I got a haircut and a warm tone balayage. It came out pretty but took way too long and I would have preferred not to have my hair blown out into a mom bob but I suppose I was paying for that anyway. I hoped the person doing my hair would clearly see my personality after 4 hours and style me accordingly is what I'm saying. Yes, I anticipated being there for a little over 2 hours max but ended up being there for 4 hours. My hair itself is very thin and incredibly easy to manipulate so I'm not sure what took so long. Heidi was nice but as a previous reviewer mentioned, it felt like a stretch for meager conversation and dated styling. I was waiting to see how it would grow out and it looks a little worse for wear; the color has faded significantly. In hindsight, I should have requested someone more attuned to alternative styling because Heidi just wasn't that person, and she didn't know how to handle my hair. Overall, this place works if you don't have a preference and you want hair that everyone else has. Everyone is nice, they know what they're doing for the most part and they'll take care of you. My hair came out to $370 total, $120 for the cut and $250 for the balayage. My 4 stars isn't so much for my experience but for how receptive and attentive they are overall as a salon, which was appreciated. read more

This salon truly exceeded my expectations. I recently had a very bad experience at a prior salon so was very hesitant to attempt to do anything to my hair. Samantha was both extremely professional and extremely warm, friendly and adaptable towards my hairs needs and "expectations" though it was like she read my mind and gave my hair the beautiful fix it needed both for its health and look. I got many compliments immediately after and made sure to tell all my friends about Salon Three and Samantha. The salon is very cozy with hanging plants and quality hair care that is so fragrant you go into a pleasant trance. My hair is so smooth and renewed. Never felt more comfortable putting my trust in a place and stylist. Thank you! read more

Sara and her whole team at Salon Three made me feel so special! From the initial phone call when booking my appointment to the services provided once I arrived, I could not have been more pleased! I don't usually trust anyone with my curls but Sara took her time with cutting each curl to give more layers and volume. She made my dreams of becoming a blonde come true! I've already booked my next appointment with her. Awesome plants by the way!! Loved your space, truly thankful for your whole team . Shout out to Jen and Sam!!! read more

For the past idk how many years, Samantha has always done an amazing job on my hair. I've never left her chair not loving my hair, especially with respect to my extensions and color. Always looks super natural. She takes my inspo pics and vague, all over the place descriptions and just makes it happen. She takes a lot of care with what she does and knows her sh*t. The extensions in my hair are long, sometimes 18" and 22", but her placement of them keeps it looking super natural and not stringy and fake. If your looking for a super sweet/ funny stylist you can 100% trust with your hair, Samantha is your girl! read more

Best hair dresser: Sara Location wise this place is perfect. I'm tired of people assuming because your salon is on Beverly Hills you must have good hair dressers. BS. This Salon got referred to me by a friend about 5 years ago. I love the environment it's a small clean boutique feel and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Whenever I'm asked where do you go to get your hair done I send them to Salon Three. ( This time I contacted Salon Three through "Yelp" and Sara the owner responded very quickly. ) I have seen Tina, Jeremy, and Heidi in the past all of whom have been amazing. This time I booked an appointment with Jen. She is super friendly and really listened during the consultation to what I wanted and did an AMAZING job with my highlights and cut. The highlights couldn't look more natural the few people ( CoVID) I have seen since are absolutely amazed. Thank you Jen you are an artist ! read more

LOVE this salon!!! It's very clean and nicely decorated. Sara is amazing! Always walk out happy when I get my hair done by her!

I sent Salon Three a message and they responded in no time, offering me a free hair consultation with Jeremy. He is a total sweetheart! We talked about what I wanted and he answered all my questions and concerns before he started doing his thing. He was very gentle with my hair, unlike other salons I've been to who murder my hair with their paddle brush. Jeremy was very patient and just super friendly, considering he was working overtime for me. I left the salon paying $250 for a haircut and complete color change. I had a great experience overall. No hidden charges whatsoever. I love my hair and definitely recommend this place to my friends and anyone else interested. read more

Salon Three - Chopped off my unhealthy ends and got me back to black. Love Jeremy! - Hair Salons Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Nice staff and decent pricing but my haircut did not go well. The experience was fine, my hair looked good when I left the salon, it wasn't until I got home and had to style it myself that I realized they gave me a VERY choppy layered haircut. There was zero blending. Just a couple thick chunky layers that would only look good if I used a curling iron every day. I think this happened because the stylist did a wet cut instead of a dry cut and honestly wasn't super experienced. I hated it so much that less than two weeks later I went to Spoke & Weal to have it fixed. read more

Hair is always a toughy but I have to be honest for the price. Heidi was nice but I went in a little indecisive and was hoping for some help, or an idea for a new cut and I got none. Spent $120 + tip on what was basically a very light trim and some pretty meagre conversation. Perhaps it was a little late in the day but it all felt a bit passed over. I was waiting to see if it grew out nicely but it sadly did not. It actually grew out pretty limp-looking and worse than before the cut. Bummer. read more

Salon 3 is a little gem just off Beverly, with a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff that gives you a break from the affected snobbery of many WeHo and Beverly Hills salons. Not that you won't be greeted with cucumber infused water, iced tea or coffee, you just won't have to beg for attention, and won't pay inflated prices. Christopher has been cutting my hair for years, and having seen his color and cut work on many women, I can say he is excellent for both sexes. He is always careful to listen to his clients, and this keeps them coming back as I have. read more

Let me start by saying that Sara Wilner has changed my views on hair stylists entirely. Sara has been styling my wife's hair for over three years and I never thought anything of it until I decided to give her a shot as well. I've always had my haircut by various stylists and thought "It's just a hair cut, whatever". I was totally wrong. Sara spent quality time trimming every angle of my hair and creating perfection in something imperfect, my nasty hair lol. I've been getting compliments by everyone saying how good and professional I look. I am now going to be a loyal customer to Sara and will never question the art of a hair stylist again. I'm the satisfied I've ever been with her expertise and I look forward to my next appointment! :) read more

I came here, expecting a lot judging by the prices, but was pleasantly surprised. I was definitely not let down. I was greeted at the door with warmth and welcome, as if I had visited this salon many times before. Sara was my stylist and she was extremely understanding. I will visit this salon whenever I am in Los Angeles and recommend that you do the same. It is well worth every penny. read more

Samantha is my go to person for blonde highlights on my naturally, very dark hair. She is a perfectionist, and will listen to exactly what you have to say, but honestly she gives great recommendations also. Extensions are quick, easy and painless. Her personality makes the time go by fast. She's so bubbly; you can tell she loves what she does for a living. I always leave with a huge ego boost, knowing I look fabulous and the way she butters me up :) I can also say I've gotten my hair done by the same person as Jessica Alba, and Tori Spelling, so that's my taste of Hollywood. I moved to San Diego, and I still go back up to see her cuz you can't find anyone like her! read more

Hands down the best salon that I've been too, if I could give it more stars, I would!!! Relaxing atmosphere and I just met their new owner, Sara, and she is the most hands on owner I have ever met. Not only that, but the staff is so kind and welcoming and the assistants were attentive and knowledgeable. Sara transformed my hair and took her time making sure I was 150 % happy and confident. She is so incredibly talented and I feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more
