Will never come back here, first and last time. My daughter went to the lady that is on the middle left side of the store. It was her first time getting a cut from a real salon, we've been going to Paul Mitchell School for $10 cuts and it's been good but she wanted to try a real salon and this was $35. The salon was so hot and humid, it was hard to breath comfortably in there, not to mention the chemical smells. They need to raise the ac and have better ventilation. The floor was dirty and I saw 2 roaches while sitting there waiting for my daughter. Now the cut was terrible. I asked for layers and "U" shape in the back. You can look at the picture of how bad it was. I called the next day to ask her to fix it but I changed my mind and didn't want to come back for the fix because I don't think her skills are good to fix and my daughter didn't want her hair to be any shorter in order to make it even. read more

Do not take walk ins if you have appointments coming in soon. Fix the a/c. I was sweating while waiting 45 mins for a chair when quoted a 15 min wait. Try smiling and being friendly and communicating. When I asked the first lady if they take walk ins and accept Apple Pay she kept nodding and pointing. Then the lady that was "available" for a walk in said no and I was just told to follow her without explanation. Once she finished washing my hair, I guess her appointment or a regular walked in and that's when I was put in a perm dryer for 45 mins while she cut her hair. I was fed up when I saw her take a seat to chit chat and take a picture of her work rather than let me know that it'll be longer than the 15 mins originally quoted. THEN had the audacity to say "book an appointment"- well duh! But I didn't that's why I first asked if there was time for a walk in to trim and layer and you said yes...like hello?!?!?! I would give negative stars if I could. Firstly.. I WENT AND ASKED if they could do my hair the way I wanted if not as closest to the lightest shade I could go because I knew my hair was very dark.. PAULINE , lady with short hair , said she could I go back next day & THE MOMENT she started straightening my hair to be BLEACHED I should of known. . But I trusted her. She started bleaching my hair & she thought I just wanted it bleached when I had shown her multiple times the bayalage I wanted. She started looking confused. She rinsed my hair and my hair. MY LONG HAIR THAT WAS UP TO MY WAIST was falling out. It was coming out in CLUMPS. my birthday was in 2 days and I was going to be left bald. I TELL HER AND SHE HAS THE AUDACITY to say it's normal. MAAM NO ITS NOT. I left and I still left her 40$ as a tip for ruining my hair.. wish I could get that money back. I was impressed the first time I came, the lady who did the eyebrows was very good at what she did. I came here on Sunday after 3 weeks needed to clean my eyebrows. However, I felt a very different experience this time. It was not busy when I came and I got whoever was available. I was very uncomfortable during the process, so I didn't want to ask for another lips wax. My eyebrows was trimmed unevenly and it looked very funny for both sides. It didn't even look clean either. My right eyebrows was over waxed. Now it lost a part where it shouldn't be. Overall, I was very unhappy about the results. The work seemed inconsistent for me here. She is very meticulous in applying the natural color treatment on my hair, as well as finishing my haircut esp. trimming the back with an electrical razor. I am satisfied with my look and I will come back again. The day I was there I only saw female hairdressers working. Maybe that's how they got the name "Venus". I would consider their price should be rated 3 $$$ and not 1 $ that cheap. It was more expansive than other San Francisco Bay Area's Asian hair salons. Burned my scalp & didn't even get me to the color I wanted. Told me it would be 4 hours to get from brown hair to blonde. Ended up being twice that from open to close. Didn't tone it enough so it looked like a straw wig on my head. I complained multiple times that I was in pain to the point that I felt like I was going to faint and the lady just told me to "be strong" and "that's what you get for wanting to go blonde". Told me she's never bleached like this before????? If you don't know how to do it, say so. Told me she would do a keratin mask or something to help my hair and added charge for that but she didn't even do the treatment.
