Part 2 of our purchasing experience with LA RV Center and Gary…read more I live in Dallas Texas so inspecting the RV was not option, so we did hour one of the 4 companies Gary recommended. Gary met the inspector on Sunday afternoon without question. Inspection of the RV was about $400 and came to be not necessary. Few little items Gary had taken care of prior to him arriving. the condition from inspector was even better than what Gary advertised "Good Condition" the camper as described by inspector was impeccable, better than new! Even with that my wife and I still hadn't seen it and we decided to take road trip and pick it up instead of hiring a delivery company. -we departed Dallas Monday and Arrived late Wednesday. Gary and his staff was waiting with open arms with smile and a hug! After inspecting and walking thru RV and little paper work we were off for our first adventure on our new RV. I should also mention that Gary Emailed and called to follow up on us while we were driving back home. What class act my friend! In closing if your in the market for pre-owned RV you need to call Gary, he is by far number one in the industry. Highly recommend for your RV purchase! Thanks again for going above and beyond the sale! George and Paula Martin Forney, Texas

We'd been looking online for a long time, but didn't like anything we saw. Gary came out, introduced himself and showed us a 2017 Dynamax Isata 3 (with a Mercedes Sprinter chassis). We loved it! He took the time to walk us though all the features, but it was late, so he invited us to come back the next day for a test drive. Gary is super friendly, personable, professional and no a 'pressure sales' kinda guy, who also got our jokes... He had it all ready for us, and it felt 'right'. After a few days dealing with the bank, we came back to make the purchase, and after Gary went thru a checklist to make sure every function worked, were excited to drive away in our new (pre-owned) RV. Great experience, highly recommended!

Husband and I live in Orlando Fl. And we decided to rent an LG. Class C for our everlasting road…read moretrip. We went to Zion, The Arches, Sedona Arizona!! We had a blast. The only downfall was the mattress. It was hard as a rock. I woke up daily with severe body aches. I suggest a foam mattress or another mattress. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has complained.

I rented a very nice 24' RV, and the customer service at booking was excellent. Unfortunately,…read morethat's where the good experience ended. I'm leaving one star because of how poorly things were handled when the generator failed. When it wouldn't start, I called the toll-free number and was on hold for over an hour before anyone picked up. I followed every troubleshooting step the rep walked me through, but we couldn't get it working. The rep noted on my account that there was a problem with the generator and told me to speak with the front desk when I returned the RV. Without the generator, I had no A/C for the trip -- a serious problem for four days in an RV. When I returned it, the front desk had me stand by while they looked into it. The mechanic came in and confirmed there was a problem, telling me directly: "I did a master reset on the generator and it's working now." So the issue was real and acknowledged by their own staff. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and professional, but she said her hands were tied and there was nothing she could do. I pointed out that I'd paid for four full days of an RV that was supposed to function -- especially the A/C. Her only offer was a $100 credit toward buying an RV from them in the future. I was blown away -- and not in a good way. I paid for a working RV and didn't get one, and their idea of making it right was a discount contingent on giving them more of my money. How could I ever rent from them again? I won't.

It Started With Jayce E…read more We recently investigated buying a new motor coach so we could graduate from an older RV travel trailer. We found a coach we liked (a THOR Hurricane or Windsport) which were available in three different RV dealers. After inquiring by phone at Thompson's RV Superstore in Santa Fe Springs, CA , we encountered Jayce E. This began a dialog leading to a unique and pleasant purchase experience: * The best deal! * An awesome dealer experience from the first encounter with Jayce E. to driving off the lot. He earned a special mention for everything he did on our behalf! * All interactions in between, with the Sales Manager, Chris, the F & I Manager, Jose T., the Orientation Tech, Ralph M., and the Parts Manager, Russ L. At each step in the purchase process, we were treated with respect, kindness, and a true family-like feeling. It was apparent that this location is a team of professionals who are passionate about their business and their customers. It is without hesitation that we heartily recommend the organization, process, and people of Mike Thompson RV in Santa Fe Springs. If you're looking to buy an RV, go here! Thank you so very much and Very.Well.Done!! John & Mónica S.

I probably should not be leaving a poor review since they still have my brand new trailer but this…read moreplace is terrible. I purchased a new RV from a different retailer earlier this year and had to have some warranty work completed. I took the trailer to Mike Thompson since they are a Grand Design dealer. The check in process was really smooth. The service representative was friendly and left me thinking this is going to be a positive experience. Boy was I wrong. I took my trailer in for warranty work on 4/24/26 and it is now 7/8/26. I have been very reasonable and understand that some things such as part delivery are out of their control. The main issue is the LACK OF COMMUNICATION on behalf of the service department over the past 2 months. I was repeatedly told by the service advisor that he would call me back and he never did. I finally spoke with the service rep and he said that there were 5 or 6 minor repairs that were complete and all that was pending was the countertop, so we agreed that I would pick the trailer up and bring it back when the countertop arrives. The day I went to pick it up, I was checking out and noticed that most of the items on my invoice were marked as not complete. We are talking as minor as replacing an exhaust vent on the outside of the trailer and a seal below the sink. How could the service advisor not have known that the work was not complete? How could he have not communicated this to me? All he could say was they sent the wrong seal. As frustrated as I was, the parts supervisor stepped in and said he would personally find out what is going on, specifically with the countertop, and gave me his card. I called and left him a message over a week later and he never called me back. The service manager (a different person) called me after I left the dealership that day and said she would personally get to the bottom of the "miscommunication" first thing Monday morning (June 29th) and get back to me. She never called me back. I was there on Friday, June 26th and it is now July 8th and no call from anyone. You would think with two supervisors involved that one of them would have called me in a week in a half. You would think that they would make it a priority to reach out with some news. It is no wonder the service rep treats customers like this if his supervisors could care less. They have had my trailer longer than I have since I owned it. So disappointing.
