Recently, I had the great pleasure of working with the fantastic people... more specifically, Kay, from Ventura Trophy. At the last minute, I decided to provide trophies to the winners of our annual Tournament of Champions playoff series, so I called Ventura Trophy and spoke with Kay. From the first moment, she had an attitude of "Yes, we can do that!", and it was on short notice... actually, I needed the trophies the same day. The team at Ventura Trophy went to work on my behalf, and within a few hours the trophies for the event were not only ready; they were incredible! Needless to say, the event was a huge success, and I know the trophies will still be on display in the winner's homes long after the cash awards are gone! Also, did I mention the pricing was far less in cost than I would have expected to be charged for such a short-notice job! Took a piece for engraving at Ventura Trophy several years back. I wasnt sure what I wanted and Montelle was super patient helping me out as well as giving me good ideas for the piece. She was the best price in town and the work came out beautifully. Since then, she has done several pieces for me and I always refer my friends and family to her because I trust her work. I had no idea the extent of engraving services provided here! When my office needed engraving for labels used on our government jobs, I of course refered them here. Now we not only do our personal engraving jobs here but my office does too and they are always happy. Montelle delivers great service, clean work and very quick response. Very poor craftsmanship. My dept ordered my retirement plaque from here with my badge embedded. There is hair in the acrylic around my badge, the backside of the base is cracked and someone tried to cover it up with sharpie, and the original engraving said "208" instead of "2008" as part of the date. They did fix the date, but now I have someone's hair forever embedded with my badge. read more

These folks are awesome. I had to replace a custom trophy with engraving and glass mounted onto wood - in less than a week. They came through with flying colors at a very reasonable price. They texted a picture of the template to me before putting it together, and their replacement was much better than my original. I would absolutely use them again. read more

Ventura Trophy offered great customer service when I was looking to get a plaque made. I found examples of what I was looking for online (a baseball shaped plaque that the team could sign) then I emailed that example to the people over at Ventura Trophy. The next morning, I got a response from Montelle saying that they would be able to make something similar, quoted me a fair price, and gave an estimate of turn around time (1 to 2 days for 1 simple plaque). I asked a few follow up questions like what size team picture I would need, and received an email response a few minutes later. A few days later, I brought in the picture, and they helped me order what I wanted. Now, two days later, I'm in possession of a beautiful plaque, with no surprises. This is a great shop with great customer service. I'll probably be back should I need any engraving or more plaques/awards made in the future. I also love that it's a local business! read more

I came here to pick up my name badges for work. It's a store front off of a main road, so, you have to be careful because of traffic. Walking into the store you can find a great amount of items to purchase and have engraved: trophies, pendants, name badges, pens, placards. I definitely will come back here if I am in need of having something personalized. Also, the manager or owner whom I spoke to was very polite and helpful. read more

I needed some engraving added to a man's wedding band. I called a number of jewelry stores but they all referred me to one place - Ventura Trophy. It's right on Main Street - I parked in front but there is parking around the side as as well. It's a crowded, dusty little shop - with space in back for their workroom. The front room is full of display cases showing sample trophies and the walls are filled with sample award plaques. Other items such as child's silver cups and spoons are on display as well -- pretty much anything you might want to engrave for a special occasion. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. I might have to come up with some reason to give someone a plaque or a trophy - just for an excuse to go back. Definitely the only place to visit when you need a trophy, plaque, or anything engraved. read more

I've ordered trophies and plaques over the years with great results: choices of design, lettering, ON TIME production, quality project. I'm retired and don't need trophies or plaques any more but a few months ago took in pieces of my silver tea set for repair. This is not for the faint hearted: it is very expensive but I wasn't able to find anyone locally to do the job. The results are fabulous. The process took months, not days or weeks, but the repairs are undetectable (dents, loose handle). Highly recommended. read more
