Wanted to give this owner some well deserved recognition. I have been buying plaques from this business for the last 6-8 years as I coach at my kids elementary school, and at the end of the year I like to award my players with some wall art to help them remember their contributions to the championship team we have built. On another note, as I was leaving yesterday, I noticed a very nice car with a for sale sign outside. Today, as I was done with my order I said to the Manager Ingrid, "I am going to walk out of here with the biggest smile on my face - everything is perfect." I've gotten my kids' end of season team awards, trophies, medals and plaques here for years. I've always had a very pleasant experience - they are extremely friendly and helpful at recommending items depending on our team budget. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to other local places I've checked out in the past and their finished products are delivered very professionally done. Today I walked in last minute hoping they can do a rush order for me. They were so busy but still said yes, they'll get it done. I found nice baseball medals (picture has been added) for the kids at $1.75 each! I got really cool bronze glove resins for coaches for under $12, and found very nice metal key chains for $7!... I read the reviews. Great reviews. I give credit where credit is due. I use local businesses because I believe in supporting my community. I am wondering why my experience with this business has been a disappointment. I am a very patient and understanding person, but Aswell Trophy has left me with little communication. I literally submitted my order on June 8 2021 to have a logo placed on hats. I just received a call today July 30th (8 weeks later) to approve the logo after having approved the logo on June 15th. The paperwork I approved showed a date of June 10th as being done. Who knows when I will get a notification my hats are ready. Still waiting patiently. Maybe If I had submitted a big order I would not have been placed so far down the list of important customers. And I still have to go back there. Maybe my order will be done this year. When I was young and I use to stay at Motel 6's and wonder why people would stay any place else. When I got older, and smarter, I realized that clean linens, friendly service and a good breakfast were well worth an extra $30 bucks. I'm not sure how Aswell Trophy compares price wise with other shops but what I do know is that they have caring, community oriented owners and good service. If they make a mistake... they fix it, if you need to look up a past order... they have it, if you need something quick...they rush it.
