I submitted a Yelp query and quickly heard back from Lisa. I explained what I needed and she scheduled an appt to assess and talk estimates. Corey arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I needed two intake vents replaced, one was a custom size. And I needed 12 "boots" and grates replaced on the vents. I had tried to do this myself and it was just impossible. Corey explained what was needed and we discussed the price. Jump ahead to the work day. I needed to run some errands so I phoned the office to confirm arrival time. Lisa was quick to find out the answer and let me know. Around 10AM, per plan, Maurice and Marquis arrived. The work required hours of being on site and they were quick to get started. To say replacing the vents was difficult would be an understatement but they got it all done. It was Sunday evening when I discovered a plumbing problem at the house. I decided to put out a…read morerequest a quote through Yelp so I could see who was available and get some pricing for Monday morning. I've had this issue happen years ago so I was pretty confident in the fact that I needed my main line snaked/augered. I feel like the whole point of doing these requests is to get the info you need without a bunch of phone calls and visitors to the house, but it feels like pulling teeth trying to get a quote out of someone. I understand there are variables, but I'm including a description of what I need... at least give me a ballpark. While Holy City is one of the ones that would not offer any pricing, they did offer a free estimate and they also got back to me Sunday evening within minutes of putting in my request. I went back and forth on the app and set up an appointment for Monday morning between 10am-12pm and was told I would get a text 30 mins before to let me know someone was on the way. Well 10-12 came and went with no tech, no call, and no text. I did shoot them a message at that point letting them know that nobody came. A while later, they sent me a message saying that my appointment time had changed and would now be between 3-5pm. No apology or acknowledgement of the missed appointment from that morning. So I replied, "No thank you. You already no call/no showed our first appointment". I get no response on the app so I figure what's done is done. Then I get a text around 3:15pm letting me know a tech is on his way to my home. I responded with a shortened version from above and that I no longer wanted service. Then it seemed I was getting a new message from an Aaron D stating he canceled the appointment and was sorry for the confusion about my appointment. I pointed out that there was no confusion about the appointment and that I was ready and waiting the whole time to which their tech no call/no showed. Then they just reschedule me for 5 hours later with zero explanation or apology. At that point, the problem was already fixed by another plumber from another company who was more reliable. From there, Aaron did apologize for the inconvenience and acknowledged that the mistake was on their end and he would deal with it internally. Based on other reviews and the quick response to my initial inquiry, I was really looking forward to a great experience. Maybe this was a fluke for them, but I can only go off of the experience I had and it was quite disappointing. I'll add an extra star for Aaron reaching out to remedy the situation and acknowledging their mistake, but I won't be recommending them to anyone else.

It's like he sized our wallets up with our house. I called the company and asked if they would subtract the 600 dollars off the quoted price to re the evaporator coil which is under warranty and the person w answered their phone said, "oh I don't know and that the manager would give me a call to discuss this. Well they never called. And IMO, we got ripped off. We had other companies come out and gave us a quote for 0 dollars. One company said 89.60 fee over the phone and I to them that I wouldn't pay a fee for the visit and then they said that they can waive the fee.

He cleaned the dryer vent duct and disinfected and sanitized all of the home's ducts. He found that the systems pressure was a bit high and the coolant level was low. He took care to inform of foreseeable concerns, but admitted that even through his diagnostics couldn't narrow what triggered my issue. What could've been a very expensive call was minimally fiscally conservative in its service charge. The system was running again very shortly. And this morning, I rose to the comfort I have grown accustomed. PREFERRED is now my preferred HVAC/plumbing go to and I elected their PPP maintenance option.
