I submitted a Yelp query and quickly heard back from Lisa. I explained what I needed and she scheduled an appt to assess and talk estimates. Corey arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I needed two intake vents replaced, one was a custom size. And I needed 12 "boots" and grates replaced on the vents. I had tried to do this myself and it was just impossible. Corey explained what was needed and we discussed the price. Jump ahead to the work day. I needed to run some errands so I phoned the office to confirm arrival time. Lisa was quick to find out the answer and let me know. Around 10AM, per plan, Maurice and Marquis arrived. The work required hours of being on site and they were quick to get started. To say replacing the vents was difficult would be an understatement but they got it all done. I made an appointment for someone to come out and service my two HVAC units on 14 July 2026. It…read morerained severely that morning and the appointment came and went. I called assuming the rain had delayed my service tech from being on time I requested a different day and was rescheduled for 17 July, both appointments were for 8am to 12pm. On the 17th which was a nice day that appointment came and went as well. I called very disappointed not having any reason that the technician didn't arrive during the designated reserved time frame. I called the following Monday, 20 July to speak with a supervisor, instead of writing a poor company review. They said they would pass on a message for the service supervisor Dan to call, of course that call never came. If an HAVC company doesn't call or text me to explain why there is a delay in coming out and not show up, and no follow-up from a supervisor. I certainly wouldn't rely on them for servicing!

After about 30 minutes I got a text saying service call charge was $79, but would be applied to any repair costs and to call them for an appointment. I called and explained the issue, but was told someone would call me back to schedule. Over an hour went by and no one called me, so I called back. Appointment was set and David B. showed up timely; he was professional and friendly. He determined my fan was dead and roughly estimated $500 to replace. Seemed like an expensive bandaid for a 14 year-old unit, so I decided best to just replace it. Next day Travis B. came to give me an estimate for a new unit. He was on time, friendly and professional. Gave me a quote before he left and it was just under $6K for new Ruud 14 seer unit. They took the $79 service call cost off the total (after I reminded them). Two days later the installers showed up on time to get my AC going. They were professional and it took them about 8 hours to complete the job. HVAC has worked fine since install. Only negative is they dripped something on my garage floor (I assume oil from the old air handler unit or from the lift they used to install the new one) that stained the floor all the way across my garage. I initially thought it was just water and would dry/disappear, but nearly two weeks later it's still there. But at least I have cold air!

From customer service to dispatch to service technician....EVERYONE was above exemplary in their approach to my concerns. Josh, was the service technician that served the moment. He took care to inform of foreseeable concerns, but admitted that even through his diagnostics couldn't narrow what triggered my issue. What could've been a very expensive call was minimally fiscally conservative in its service charge. The system was running again very shortly. And this morning, I rose to the comfort I have grown accustomed. PREFERRED is now my preferred HVAC/plumbing go to and I elected their PPP maintenance option. They arrived before time schedule of 9 am which was great to us they worked all day no lunch break made the breaker work out with some SMART adjustments, put the outdoor unit where we wanted but next to it with added level support of rocks, inside unit, they removed the old furnace for my hubby and put it where he wanted it. GREAT INSTALLATION work done! Done in a day! They clean any mess but really wasn't any. Price was right and fair for us. Thank you. I wish you guys put pools in
