Jessica picked up the phone on the second ring and before noon (the same day) Kyle A. was at work and quickly assessed the problem. Unfortunately, a permanent fix would require a replacement part which would take 2-3 days to arrive. Thursday afternoon, Jessica called to schedule the (next day) service call and by 11:00 am on Friday, Kyle A. was done. I honestly don't know if the charge for the service call ($100) or the replacement part was the lowest around but Joe was so pleased with his interactions with Jessica and Kyle that we would not hesitate to call Aviv again.

After being run around by a few other repair services thankfully I found these guys. I had to pick my son up from school right in the middle of the appointment window, and of course he called and was 15 minutes out and I was 20-25 minutes deep in a carpool line...no problem I'll see you then. Less than an hour later the culprit was found, one of the kid's socks had found it's way into the impeller. Tested a cycle and everything works great. Service call + the fix was $180, barely more than some places want just to come out and diagnose. If you're needing an appliance repaired, don't hesitate to call them!!

Another tech came back out and said it wasn't the heater or thermistor. He said it was the control board but offered no solution. I have wasted over $700 on their diagnosis and my fridge is still broken. I would recommend using a different company.

It took another 2 weeks to get the part, it was installed in 15 minutes and they charged 368.00 for labor, that's roughly 24.00 a minute for labor....no adjustment for labor. We did get a zero charge for the new part and 50.00 off for inconvenience BUT it's the non-negotiable labor charge. ITS TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS and the reply I received was we do excellent work hence the high labor cost. Very high quality repairs. He is a one man operation, so there are limits. Please be cognizant if that. The Repair: GE clothes washer ~10 years old, not draining and getting stuck on pause He came in and listened to what was going on and then decided to crawl underneath to get a closer look. He deduced that the drain pump wasn't working. After pulling it out he opened it up and discovered that the pump didn't feel right and showed me his findings. He ordered the part and would not accept payment until the repair was complete. A couple of days later, part in hand and first thing in the morning he shows up and puts the pump in place, and WaaaaaaLa! He put the washer through all the setting and showed me that it was working. Between both days, he probably spent an hour and fifteen minutes total. Great to have a working washer again! Oh, and not spend a bunch of money on a new machine.
