Some of their frosting/cakes can be quite sweet, but they hit it out of the park with their strawberry whip cake! The cake is filled with soft whipped cream between every layer from top to bottom. There's also chunks of strawberry and the cake itself is soft, airy, and moist. It doesn't look the most aesthetic, but it's my favorite by far! Well done!

After seeing the bakery had such great reviews, I was really looking forward to our experience. Unfortunately, the service left a bit to be desired and I felt more like I was in the way than welcomed as a customer. I completely understand that it was a very busy weekend, but even a simple "hello" or "welcome" can go a long way in making customers feel acknowledged. The chocolate cake was also disappointing. It looked beautiful, but unfortunately, the taste just wasn't there, and most of the cake was hardly touched. The one bright spot was the custom sugar cookies they were delicious! We only ordered a small amount, but after trying them, we quickly realized they would have been the better choice. Overall, I appreciated the presentation and the cookies were definitely a highlight, but unfortunately, the service and cake didn't meet my expectations.

Hand packed quart: I love that this is $15/16. In a world where pints are edging closer to $13, it's nice to still know a place that rewards you when buying more from them. I like how the ice cream looks soft enough off the scooping area that the person hand packing the quart can do it relatively quickly. Chocolate: I think it's above average, but I won't question it if you think that it's just fine. Chocolate for me has always been about finding that line of "not too sweet" and finding that hint of bitterness to get you down from that sugary high. I feel that this place finds that balance well. Ambiance: The place is dated, borderline vintage. I think they should lean into it, and I think they do. Service: Professional, quick, and what you want when buying dessert. Yes, there is a line, but it runs pretty quickly.

The Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked, the croissant sandwich was flaky and packed with flavor, and the ricotta toast with prosciutto and peaches was a combination I wasn't expecting to enjoy this much. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted just as good. But the real surprise was the Pistachio Latte. It was honestly one of the best specialty lattes I've had in a long time.
